Hello Arkady !!! Please review the camera Canon D 6

  • jinjo

Hello. Help me choose a camera, please. Nikon d5500 or Sony slt-A65

    • anonym

Unconditional question. The goal would help with the answer. Sony would be better for reporting.

    • R'RёS,R ° F "RёR№

D5500 of course, as a newer and more technological.

    • Oleg

      Sony-a77 / 2
      Himself on such. Excellent

  • myth

Hello Arkady !!! Please try to review a very old camera - olympus e20-p

  • Eugene

Hello Arkady! I would like to express my wish - to create a certain base of carcasses that have a “screwdriver”.
    With respect to you, Eugene.

    • B. R. P.

A similar base has long been created. In almost every review of the screwdriver lens, Arkady indicates the camera models with which autofocus will work.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Here.

      • Eugene

Arkady, I sincerely thank you for the answer, as well as for the entire amount of material on the topic of the photo. (it’s scary to imagine how much work you did) Everything is very well described,
        simple and clear.

  • Eugene

Have you read my comment carefully?

    • B. R. P.

Are you my attentive? What is “base” in your understanding?

  • Michael

Good day! Need zoom for home and travel. 2 options:
    1. Nikon D50 + Sigma 17-50 F \ 2/8
    2. Nikon D3100 + Nikon 18-105 (140).
Which is preferable in your opinion?
    Sincerely, Michael.

    • Arkady Shapoval

18-105 for travel will be more convenient

      • Valery A.

Michael, from the 1st set of photos will be prettier in color (contrast, saturation) if the carcass with sigma makes friends. Yes, and a fast lens. And the 2nd is more convenient-practical in use, one difference of the screens is worth what. I had / have these things (except for sigma and 140), I would take the risk in your place and take the 1st one, due to acquaintance with the SSD matrix and a bright lens.

  • Anastasia

Good evening. Thank you for your work, the site is very interesting and informative. I want to buy ff, I looked towards nikon d750, but the price is annoying, d610 is cheaper, but there are many reviews that, like the 600th, the oil on the matrix and the shutter breakage on low mileage. So I don't know what to do ... the difference is 30t.r. tangible for me, but paying for repairs is also not cheap. Expert opinion is needed))) i.e. yours))

    • Arkady Shapoval

In the general case, the d600, especially not the first lots, is the same as the d610, with the same frequency of breakdowns. Even if the first batch, then the oil is also treated.

      • Anastasia

Is it possible to take d610? I’m interested in shooting in churches (baptism, weddings). Will it be correct? Most churchmen take photos on d750, reviews on working with insufficient lighting + light. Lens are very good. Will the photo on d.610 make much noise? + 35 / 1.8 3200-6400 vyd.160-200? Do you want to use a flash (not lost intimacy😏)
I can consider buying advanced crop 7100/7200/7500 or ff is still better for shooting in the dark? The brain begins to boil from the choice and price))

        • Michael

          Ff is still better

        • Oleg

You can take the top crop 7500 calmly.
The lens is fast. And everything will be ok)

    • anonym

Nikon seemed to replace “dirty” locks in service centers for free.
As well as on the D750. Only the D750 had a slightly different problem with the shutter. If the camera is from white official supplies, then there will be no problems with maintenance and free replacement or repair in the official service.

      • Anastasia

What is the 750 problem? Often encountered?

        • Pokemon

The first batches of D750, in 2014, had a flare - a light streak and some other little things.
Compared to the D600 / D610, the D750 did not hear that they were often scolded for “vacuuming” or oil on the matrix (although someone in 2014/2015 still had it in the photo_ru).
We changed the shutter of the D600 / D610 and D750 according to the factory recall system.
          *
On Avito now for some reason there is a splash of used D750 from weddings with replaced shutters "under warranty", but many have already worn out cameras outwardly, and replacing the shutter is unlikely to save.

          • Anastasia

I don’t even consider second-hand, just because of the weddings and the rest of the reporters, it's like taking a car from a taxi driver)))) So, after all, 750 is better ... and I really thought I’d save a couple of dozen. Thank you))

  • Stas

Arkady! I would like to ask you why there are no new camera reviews lately? Somehow everything hung ... After all, the same number of new models came out, and not all of the old ones are presented. Don't give for testing? Or some other problem? Thanks in advance for your reply

    • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, there are no special problems, everything has its time

      • Stas

Here, below, there is such a phrase that the representative offices of NIKON, KENON and others do not give you new equipment for testing. I want to know if they give new equipment (well, in the sense, just purchased in the store) for testing, well, say, your friends? Or simply, one of the readers? It seems that such situations were, if I’m not mistaken

      • Stas

        I would like to see test reviews of new models - D500, D7500, D850, D5600, D3500

    • Pokemon

      This is a private blog.
Canon, Nikon and Fuji are not giving new equipment for testing the dealership.

      • Pokemon

made a reservation - they just don't give it.
Tests of new photographic equipment on most resources are reprints of marketing materials or continuous vanilla and fir without criticism. And giving honest authors is not profitable.

        • Stas

I would like to clarify, if possible, the concept of the term “new photographic equipment”. This is one that has not yet been in use, but, quite possibly, of a long-standing year of production (well, for example, in some places in online stores the remains of NIKON D90 are still being sold). Or "new", in the sense that it was recently released, this year or last year.

      • Arkady Shapoval

        Give, but with troubles

      • Charles

And what, are there state ones?
        O_o

  • Christina

Arkady, thanks for your reviews! please help with advice. I'm not a beginner, but I'm not a pro either, I'm looking for a new camera to replace my old lady. I shoot the subject mainly, good focus, color rendition and good quality in low light are important. All pictures are “thoughtful”, the video is not important. I look closely at Nikon d5600, it is convenient that there is a rotary screen and the reviews are nothing. Can you tell me analogs, what else to look at? the manufacturer is not important) Thank you!

    • anonym

Not exactly analogous in terms of money, but the picture is approximately similar in terms of DD and noise:
Nikon d7100 / d7200, Canon 77d / 80d, Sony a6300 / a6500. But Sonya will be more interesting to those who are also very interested in video filming.

  • anonym

Hello, tell me please, I want to take the Nikon d5300, but I wanted to know which Canon model has similar characteristics? And what is the best 18-105 or 18-140 lens for landscapes, animals? Thanks a lot, advance reply

    • Pokemon

      Canon750d

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Approximately 750D / 700D, better 18-140

      • Julia

Thank you very much for your reply :)

  • Elena

Hello, tell me if there will be reviews of mirrorless cameras, especially the latest models. I use Nikon D850, but recently I began to look at mirrorless cameras ... the dimensions are too captivating ... I wonder how they work ....

  • Angela

Hello. Please tell me an alternative to the Nikon 105 (very expensive) lens for crop. Thanks.

    • B. R. P.

      Which one is Nikon 105?

      • Angela

        Nikon D5100

    • Denis

      105 macro? maybe tarmon 90mm

      • Angela

        Thank you

  • Anton

    Good afternoon!
I ask for advice, namely what to buy? Nikon D3100 or old Pentax K10D.
I plan to shoot a family, nature, outdoor activities.
I will be grateful for the help)

  • anonym

Hi) how to properly configure the KIEV 4 camera? The same rules as on the DSLR, just need to take into account the ISO film? According to plans, I want to shoot on the street, but I still do not understand how to set it up.

    • Michael

Exposure depends on shutter speed-aperture-sensitivity. Which camera is not important. The rules are the same

      • anonym

thanks. and the one here has a built-in exposure meter that does not work, and a calculator wheel. I thought they were important. Do I set up a film camera exactly the same as my DSLR?

        • Novel

The exposure meter measures the level of illumination. The calculator allows you to set the sensitivity and select the exposure exposure for the given illumination and sensitivity already for it. The exposure meter, most likely, has already screwed up, so you can buy a new one or use the SLR exposure meter. Perhaps this is even better, a DSLR can be checked and amended if something happens for dark and light frames.

          • anonym

It's just that if I want to take a portrait on the street during the day with soft light, and having a film of 200iso, I would logically set an open aperture, about 2 or 2.8. But now I do not know what to do with the shutter speed. I would put about 1 \ 500 depending on the brightness of the lighting. But downloading the application that replaces the exposure meter there gives a value of the order of 1 \ 15. It seems to me everything will be overexposed.

            • Novel

I now put some lightmeter on my phone, I write garbage. Also, iso 200, aperture 2.8, offers 2s, while the camera offers 0.5s. But he uses the phone's light sensor, which is in front, and you need to direct it to the subject. Take a "hardware" exposure meter if you are already confused about the film.

        • Novel

          Digital SLR refers to.

      • anonym

        thank you

  • cady

Hello! I love film cameras. Regarding FED 5 ... Everything is not bad, but the build quality of it and the 5C has dropped. 5B and the previous ones, series 3, are assembled much better. I consider Zorky 4 to be the pinnacle of the USSR rangefinders, Kiev 19 DSLRs, with the Industar 61L and Helios 83N lenses, respectively. Drawing, all other things - at the highest level, reliability above all expectations. With respect to all lovers and fans of film photography, retired, formerly a photographer and photo artist Sady.

  • Andrey Tekunov

Hello Arkady! Do you have any desire to make a review on the Sony Alpha A200 camera. Ready to provide for a review. Royalty-free.

  • anonym

It is a pity that you do not review old film cameras like zenith, fed, sharp-sighted ...

    • BB

      But why?
These devices were very popular in the open spaces of the former USSR. All the pros and cons have long been known and discussed on forums 100500 times.
Why are reviews at all? For those who choose equipment to buy, IMHO. Who needs old Soviet film machines now? IMHO - only for lovers of such antiquities. For those who like to shoot on film (to shoot and receive pictures, and not to engage in techno ****) can easily acquire a Normal, practically modern used film camera for ridiculous money, to which modern optics are suitable, and have fun. But all those Feds, Zeniths, Kievs - this is not for shooting, this is for a lover of antiquities.
I'm not saying that this is complete rubbish (at one time there were Smena-8m, rangefinder Kiev-4, Zenit ET), but compared to the same Nikon / Canon of the beginning of the XNUMXs - it's like a Zaporozhets and Mercedes - and this and that goes, but the sensations are completely different :)
That’s the question: why are there reviews of Zaporozhtsev and Lada?)

PS A couple of years ago I bought a Nikon F80, so to speak, to calm my soul, I shot two films, now it lies, waiting for the return of the film era :)

    • First Substation

Arkady himself has repeatedly said that film carcasses are not very interesting to him. And for the most part, the popularity of carcasses is many times inferior to the popularity of lenses. Therefore, if anyone wants to make Radozhiva about film photos, he must create it independently.
I'm sorry about the other thing - because of the fucking economy, tech reviews stopped at that year 2013. D5500, D7500, D500, D850 and a lot of other interesting devices passed Arkady's sight. The mirrorless revolution has generally passed by too. Yes, we talked under the announcements, but nothing came to the review. The same problem with lenses.
I hope to develop the blog and replenish it with fresh materials!

  • Sergei

Hello to all readers of this page. It's a pity that there are no reviews of devices like the Panasonc Lumix. In general, I noticed that the significance of these devices is very much underestimated. I have been photographing with Lumix for a long time, and I want to say that it is better than many manufacturers. I bought and tested different brands of devices, I was looking for perfection. I stopped at Lumix. Highly recommend ...

    • Onotole

Well, what is so good about them, tell me?

    • anonym

I agree. The new 9s are especially good. I myself think to buy it.
Be prepared that they don’t understand you here, there are a lot of old-timers who don’t know and don’t want to know anything)

  • Alex

I’m glad, please tell me your honest opinion if you compare
Nikon D750 or D800 DSLR with Sony A7 III mirrorless ???

If you have a chance to give an answer today, on the 20th - I would be very grateful.
I always respect your opinion and repost to your site on Facebook and in classmates.

    • Arkady Shapoval

In general, Radozhiva is a site. You can ask me. A7m3 is newer, with a stub and a good video. Personally, looking at the optics park, now I would take the d750 for work, this is my personal opinion and my experience. And here the question is more than a DSLR or a mirrorless, which does not have a single unambiguous solution. You have not set any goals, objectives, or your experience, etc. You need to think about the camera and the system as a whole, about the optics in the first place.

    • anonym

If we compare abstractly without taking into account optics and purpose, then the Sony A7 III is certainly an order of magnitude better in terms of convenience, technology, AF and more.
The Sony A7 III is the best-selling camera in many markets today for its versatility, convenience and features. Here is a camera stub, excellent focusing, wide DD, excellent 4K video with AF, etc. Note that this is a modern camera. The short flange distance allows you to put lenses of different brands, due to the camera stub, they automatically become stabilized.
Nikon d800 - the first generation of Nikon multipixel cameras, has problems with AF (there is an ancient module from D700 with finishing), has problems with blur due to poor mirror damper (partially solved in D810), has problems with color (data stream compression is used).
Nikon D750 is one of Nikon’s most unsuccessful cameras in terms of reliability, it has been hit several times by the server for troubleshooting in the service, google Nikon D750 issue.
But even without taking this into account, the Nikon D750 is significantly worse in its capabilities than the Sony A7 III.
Most likely, there will be no replacement for the Nikon D750, Nikon transfers its analogs to the Z series mirrorless.

  • Alex

Arkady, thanks for the quick reply! And thank you Anonymous.
I have 30 years of amateur experience. Started with Smena8m, FEDA, was Zenith (not for long), then
-sunset, since 1998 - digital Kodak, Olympus, since 2007 Nikon D80, but I have never understood the intricacies of photography and FullFrame. 2 years ago I sold expensive glasses Nikor 17-35, 2.8 and 28-70 2.8, left 35 1.8 and bought Sony A6500, as if for video and photos. No photo from 6500. But the video went well for me. It went so badly that he began to earn money at weddings, anniversaries, schools, kindergartens.
Now the goal is to improve in photography, because I shoot on Nikon d80 with Sigma 18-50 and 35 1.8 .. I figured out the photo, so much so that I can already see the difference in the full frame. Now I'm afraid to be disappointed having bought the Sony A7-III. I need a good photo camera (for growth) and a second camera for video as a back-up, and for blurring the background in photos and videos. I plan to buy Tamron 24-70, 2.8 (this is if Sony), or go to Canon 6d 2, or go to Nikon 750-810. The decision must be made quickly. Expensive wedding is outlined on June 1st. Like YOU Arkady Sony A 7 III for a photo with Tamron 24-70, 2.8 (I won't pull for the best, my wife prib'є). Give us an answer, pliz.

Alex, the D750 and D800 Nikons are not suitable for video, this is probably the worst choice for this.
(D800 in general for the studio and landscapes and there isn’t much sense in it today).
Sony A7-III is an excellent universal camera for all occasions.
But I didn’t test it with non-native optics, so I don’t know how good it is with a tamron.

      17-35 / 2.8 and 28-70 / 2.8 have excellent glass in Nikon, as well as 80-200 / 2.8.
If you had them, bomb the wedding without any problems. For a wedding, they are even too good. After discontinuing these glasses and replacing them with the new G series, something disappeared from Nikon glasses. Probably sincere.

I bought 17-35 and 28-70 in 2006 in the States, like Nikon d80
Thought already to tie with a photo (2016). He sold glass, bought Sony A6500. He began to delve into the video on the scientific. Then the understanding of the photo came. Then I just appreciated how stupid the seller had done.
Nikon glass. From my own experience I realized that 6500 videos were imprisoned, it was a deep disappointment. Sold 16-70 Zeiss, left only 18-105 PZ, After the first videos, friends began to invite some to anniversaries, some to alumni meetings, then the economy went to the wedding. In short, I return to the photo, taught my wife to photograph. Right now, we stand before what ff to take, so that both the video and the photo are at the level (this is for the wife, she is in the photo, well, for the video for safety reasons), well, I’m at 6500, well, in the crucial moments on the photo. I do not regret buying a Sony 6500 at all. I discovered a video business for myself. I had to buy an expensive computer. In short, I would take Canon d6-2, but there is no 4k. Canon5 mark4 is already too expensive for me. Here a human being sells A7m3 for 47000gr, so I started thinking. How is she Sonya A7-3, will she pull a photo as well as a video?

  • Alex

Arkady, forgot to add. My Nikon lenses are for crop, so they have no effect on the decision.

  • Alex

Anonymous, thank you for your answer. Probably the essence of my question is whether it has become a mirrorless
Is the A7m3 taking photos as good as a top-level DSLR? Here the Sony A6500 is not suitable for a serious photo.

    • 1Ds_mk3

So the A6500 and all cameras in this series are taken under video. Like the A6300 / 6400. For a photo, this is an expensive and strange purchase.

  • Alex

Yes, I agree, 750 and 810 are not for video. Does Sony a7m3 take photos as well as Nick 750-810, or Sanon 6d2 ????
Or the time for a great photo on ff mirrorless has not come yet ???

    • 1Ds_mk3

Yes, the A7m3 and A7R m3 are really very good for both photos and videos. A7 m3 is a very good camera. Before buying, pay attention to the glass park under this mount. They are few and they are expensive.

      • Alex

Already found Tamron 24-70 2.8 for Sonya 7m3. For my level, I think that's enough. Friends laugh, found business at 58 years old. But it so happened. I live in a district town, which is probably why I was able to reach the level of demand. Kiev, I leave Arkady for now :))!

        • 1Ds_mk3

Good luck and success to you!

        ==========================
The original? There are really a lot of them, but not very cheap.
Kenon lenses work well through the latest version of the metabon adapters, including AF.

      ======================
Canon 6d II is a very unsuccessful camera, it shoots frankly badly. This is due to the fact that Kenon did not want to repeat the situation with 6D / 5dMk3 and artificially worsened the matrix in canon 6d II (it is also in the RP in a worse version).
Nikon D810 is a good camera for landscape and studio, it’s not universal, it gives out the size of the picture and the resolution is more than Sony a7m3. Still has a lubrication problem.
Nikon D750 gives a picture plus or minus the identical to Sony a7m3. I would even say that Sony a7m3 has better color, its profiles are more developed.
Total, Sony a7m3 in color plus or minus is the same with the Nikon D810 / 750, much better than the Canon 6D II, in terms of capabilities, autofocus and video is much better.

Guys, thank you all for the good advice. The last advice from Anonymous at 21:15 was the most efficient and decisive for me. Yes, obviously it's time to part with the DSLRs. Yes indeed. I'm already in Sony's system. Need to take 7M3. There was simply (and is) a fear of being disappointed in the photo capabilities of 7m3. Still, a lot of money. For now, one Tamron or a used one will be enough for me. Sony 24-70 f4. And there, indeed, perhaps I’ll get inexpensive Canon glasses with this, like him, metabon. Good luck to everyone and good orders!

It is a pity Arkady did not say his weighty word. But I respect the site of Radozhiv. It was he who gave me the most good info on the photo. Still standing Arkady's verdict on photo opportunities
Sony A6500 - that Nikon D3300 shoots better hundreds of times. But I read that verdict…. having already purchased Sony A6500. I had to become a videographer!
