    Good afternoon!
Are you planning a review of the Fujifilm X-T1? I plan to take for everyday life, but often I have to shoot sports in low light conditions. So far, my D600 + 70-200VRII is doing fine, but I want something easier). Shutter speed is used from 1/400 to 1/2000, while in shutter priority mode, the aperture is always maximum 2,8, and Auto Iso about 1600, and sometimes 3200. It’s a little scary that the zoom on the Fujik is far from being as fast as the noise on 3200 can be much stronger. I would be grateful for your advice!

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Yes, I plan :)

      • Dmitriy

brevity is the sister of talent =). And I wrote so much damn it. If possible, please consider my question. Is there an estimated date for the review of fujik? I'm afraid to burn out)

        • Arkady Shapoval

It all depends on when it gets in your hands :)

  • Alia

Hello! I want to buy a camera. There is no experience, (except for a soap dish). There is a great desire to photograph children, nature, etc. There is a sense of beauty, so to speak, and quick learning. Please advise which second-hand camera to purchase in a low price category. There is absolutely no one to consult with. Really looking forward to the answer. Thanks!

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Voice the budget.

      • Alia

Can you buy up to 15t?

        • Denis

          Nikon D3100, D5100
          Canon 1100D, 550D

          • Denis

(Canon 1100D up to 10 tyr worth)

        • Valery A.

For children, it may be better than D3000 (or D60, even D40) + 18-55 (whale) thousand for 6-8, for the rest take 50 / 1,8G or 35 / 1,8G. Without fixing all the charm of the picture can not be achieved.

  • Karen

I have Samera Sigma DP2 with 4,6 MP three-layer matrix, (I have been with it for 7 years), it would be interesting to listen to your opinion about it. Regards, Karen

  • Karen

Despite the fact that the camera is almost 8 years old, and only 4,6 MP, it still continues to amaze with the quality of images, color reproduction, sharpness and detail. The only thing that catches your eyes is that absolutely all the pictures are dark, and you have to lighten, as in this case, for example - lighten the shadows. And one more, one might say, drawback - the camera takes a picture in RO for 4-5 seconds.

    • Valery A.

“… All the pictures are dark, and you have to lighten…” - did you try to introduce exposure compensation plus?

      • Karen

No, I didn’t, on all cameras everything is set to a neutral position and the pictures are only in the RO. All the same, the pictures are processed in the lightroom, so why use exposure compensation))))

        • Oleg

So exposure compensation changes expocouple. Not at all the same as processing)
4-5 seconds to write to RO - sadness. For a very leisurely shooting :)

          • Karen

At one time I used +0,3 then +0,6 but then removed and adjusted it in the lightroom, I didn’t notice much difference, I just made it less light in the lightroom))) But this is the same photo after correction, I had to compress the photo from 4,5, XNUMXMB to one MB

            • Valery A.

A matter of taste, but the first looks more natural, IMHO, overcast, or twilight.

  • Alexander

Hello! Excuse me, why is it not on the list of Sony A-57? I have such a device, I am satisfied and I think that this is a very successful model, which opens up the wonderful world of Minolta glasses!

  • Vadim from Novosibirsk

    Arkady, good day!
Tell me, when will the reviews on the Nikon D7500 and Nikon D500 come out?
I would very much like to get acquainted with the expert opinion before buying.

    • Onotole

The expert's opinion is known in advance: “the cameras are good, suitable, but in general in photography this is not the main thing”.

  • Alexander Rotaenko

Hello. I want to ask for help from the “senior comrades”. there is a Nikon 8800 camera in the park, everything suits me except that the Wishlist wants to photograph at night, night landscapes, the sky, etc. With this camera it is almost impossible due to the small matrix. advise what to take. The hotelier asks for D5100, but there is none in my pocket ... I look towards D90 + Soviet optics (Indian "pisatka") and something from Jupiters or "Heliks", the budget is about 3500 UAH. Thanks to those who responded.

  • Alexander Rotaenko

    bought a Canon EOS 300D.

  • Alexander.

I have a question, I want to buy a Canon EOS 1300D kit (18-55mm) EF-S DC III. Say it is suitable for photo shoots or you need to look for another device. Thank you in advance.

    • Dmitry

If in the studio, any camera is suitable: in the studio they shoot in manual mode with a shutter speed of 1/125 and with a pressed aperture up to 8-11, the exposure is adjusted by adjusting the power of the lighting fixtures.

On the street, where you need to beautifully blur the background, the carcass will work, but it is better to buy a lens of 50 or 85 mm - these are better for blurring the background at open apertures.

      • Alexander.

        Got it, thanks a lot.

  • Denis

Hello! Help me choose a camera: nikon d3400, 5300 or fujifilm x -a3. I will photograph for myself family, nature, etc.

    • B. R. P.

Mirrorless mirrors will be more compact, autofocus mirrors are better for shooting moving children, for example.

  • Jacks

Arkady, good day. I would like to ask you for advice: is it worth replacing the ancient Canon 450D + Tamron 28-75 f2.8 (my Tamron copy is not very successful, it lathers on the open and terribly chromatite) Nikon d300 (S) + 17-55 Nikkor, or look at something else? I shoot mostly reportage and landscapes, rarely portraits. In addition, after a while (when I start working) I'm going to take 12-24 Nikkor.
    Thank you in advance.

  • R'RёS,R ° F "RёR№

Pentax K-1 Arkady hi. What do you think about this camera, and what category it belongs to: amateur or advanced? Thanks for the answer. Yours faithfully

    • Arkady Shapoval

The first full-frame. That says a lot. In general, I believe that this is the level of the Nikon D750 / Canon EOS 5D Mark III. I treat her well, but I know that several generations of cameras are needed in order to eliminate all the shortcomings. And since this is exactly the first full-frame camera of this kind from Pentax, I would have waited for its replacement and only then looked at it as an alternative for Nikon / Canon / Sony.

      • R'RёS,R ° F "RёR№

Arkady good health to you! Thank you for answering my question. Your opinion is important to me and I perceive it as very kind and wise advice. Then the question remains open for me. Which company should I go to Nikon / Canon / Sony? I definitely want a full-frame one. I want to replace my Canon 500d. Mostly rented indoors: conferences, etc. with mixed light. I wanted it so that I could manually select a BB. I am more inclined to Nikon. I really wanted to shoot so that I would not process the photo later. I am waiting for an answer if possible. Yours faithfully

        • Arkady Shapoval

          Good afternoon.
System selection is a very difficult philosophical question. There is no single answer. Personally, I lean towards Canon (but that doesn't mean anything). If you announce the budget, it will be easier to suggest the models from which you can choose something later.

          • R'RёS,R ° F "RёR№

            2000$

            • Arkady Shapoval

Around this area Nikon D610, Nikon D800, Nikon D750, Canon 6D, Canon 5D Mark III. I do not consider Sony cameras, because there are very few optics for them and they are quite expensive. Personally, I would go with the Nikon D750 / 610 / 5D Mark III. If you choose only of these three, then the 5D Mark III. There is a lot of subjective in my recommendations, and the task is also broad enough.

              • s

Arkady, why not the D750? :)
You seem to have been a fan of Nikon technology, and in terms of DD - D750 is better than 5DMk3.

              • Arkady Shapoval

As I always say - I am a fan of photography, the fact that I often shoot with Nikon does not make me a fan of them, just like shooting with Helios and other equipment.

  • Yerbolat

This camera costs a discount of 27000.
What do you think is worth buying?

    • Arkady Shapoval

      What is it?

  • Eugene

Good day, Arkady. Once upon a time, I asked you for help in changing the camera, and you advised me the canon 5d mark 3, I purchased this full-frame camera and I’m completely pleased with its quality. Now I just understand that all my lenses are of very low quality (18-200mm, 17-85mm and fix f1.8 55mm), please tell me which lens would be more universal in all types of shooting and better, what to choose, which one will replace a bunch of garbage and become a faithful, well-working friend :)?

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Good afternoon.
Classic: the divine Canon 24-70 L II, or the new Canon 24-105 L II.

  • Marina

Hello, can I ask for your advice))) My third camera is Nikon Coolpix P900, I bought it for myself, to photograph children, grandchildren, my exhibitions and travels. But since the village is small, it is bad for us with professional photographers))) (and for the money ....), they ask to shoot graduations in the village garden, school, weddings and concert programs in the recreation center. I shoot more on video, but I don’t want to switch to a video camera, so a little thought has appeared to purchase a central control center in the region of 50t))) What are the possible options? Even on used ear options I look at Avito (something I need to fill my hand with)) I read your reviews, one might say in full admiration)) eyes run up, lips roll out, etc ... I want to hear from you a short and sensible answer)))

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Good afternoon. Canon 60D, 600D / 650/700 / 750D and Nikon D7000, D5100 / 5200.
But it’s difficult to shoot video on the CZK, you either need to take something like the Canon 70D, 200D with a dual pixel for convenient and quick focus during video recording, or look at Sony SLT or mirrorless cameras.
For a photo I would take for the same money used. Nikon D7000 with tamron 17-50 / 2.8 vc or Sigma 17-50 / 2.8 OS lens and external flash. The budget is not great.

      • Marina

Thank you very much for the quick answer)))) went to monitor the Internet)))))))) I would be sure that the photo and video shooting would feed me, would allocate more))) In the meantime, this is my hobby)))

      • Marina

Or all the same - a video camera, on my picture it still suits me, but the sound is completely (((((https://youtu.be/xSF8hf27pwo - this is an example of a video that I shoot with my Nikon Coolpix P900.

        • Arkady Shapoval

This is up to you. It all depends on the type of shooting, on the requirements, on skills. I can’t immediately give you an absolutely suitable answer for you)

        • Valentine

Sound is often separately written. Then, during installation, they impose. Writing devices can be located closer to the sound source, extraneous noise from the hall will be excluded.
In addition, sound can be shot directly from the sound and mixing equipment, which will make its quality much higher.
Camcorders provide better image stabilization when shooting handheld, allow for smoother zoom, they are easier to pan, they have fewer focusing problems, and have greater depth of field. But the picture itself, as from a camera, is obtained mainly on expensive models. Therefore, if you are making a film - a video camera may be more convenient, if you are filming actions on a stage - the camera may be better because of the picture quality.
Camcorders with a budget of 50 thousand like Canon Legria G25 or used Canon Legria G30 are very convenient and good, but still, in my opinion, they are somewhat inferior to cameras in the picture.
Take your time with the purchase.

        • Valentine

I forgot to say that replacing your current camera with a camcorder with a designated budget, you have very little that you can purchase. You have a stabilizer, zoom, there is a depth of field due to the small matrix, ISO adjusts to the shooting conditions. But for photography, he is so-so. Therefore, if you want to improve just a photo, then you need to take something more serious.

          • Marina

Thank you))) It's a good thing after all, the Internet))) Yes, there are more problems due to a limited budget, and they ask to take photos and videos, but if you refuse, they get offended))) So I'm sitting here ... I'm scratching my turnips, I'm a grandmother, but we have to run like young, young people who are keen on photography and video shooting, we do not have it, only they shoot on smartphones ... So I want to choose something cheap and cheerful, but for now ....)))) Today I just threw off the last shooting of the concert at the Central Cultural Center, the picture is nothing, but the sound ... the microphones are firing thoroughly ... I'm also watching something now for a separate sound recording ...

  • Andrei

I want to buy my first DSLR, but I myself don’t know what to buy. Offered a Nikon D70s carcass with mileage up to 10 yew. + buy to her 18-105, I’m sitting, I think to take or not. Or take a Canon 1000 d + kit lens. The question is, then to sell the shtob with minimal losses, if you want the best or the DSLR is not for me.

    • Pastor

I would rather take Nikon D70s with this choice. Mainly due to the best colors and ergonomics. Still, the level of the carcass is higher. A sale option with minimal losses is possible when buying at a minimum price. Having bought d70s thousands for 3-4, you will sell it for the same money in a year or two. 18-105vr is used for about 7-8 thousand, it is cheaper, but infrequently. It turns out that buying a set for 10 thousand in my opinion you will not lose and will be able to sell it all in a year without noticeable losses.

    • Edward

old nikon D300 - with mileage up to 100, complete with 000-18 or 200 35dx
can be found for 13-14 mp
and then separately sell d300 for 9 tr, and 18-200 - for 9 tr
profit, and the camera is more interesting, the chance that you will like it much higher

  • Julia

    Good afternoon!
Your opinion is important, please help.
    Used Pentax.
I want to buy a full-frame Kenon D6 or Nikon D610 (the cheapest). According to the characteristics of Nikon is better. And I am more inclined to Kenon (because it is difficult for me now to understand 100% whether the lenses that I want in the future will be compatible with the d610.).
I will photograph children (active, not newborns), families and pregnant women, outdoors and in the studio.
lenses want two 50 / 1.4. 85 / 1.8 or one 24-70 / 2.8 - there are both Kenon and Nikon lenses. BUT I don’t understand which brand the lenses will be better for this type of shooting. (better fix or zoom?)
    Why didn’t I find 135 in Nikon?
And about the Tracking. AF with sist. Lock-On - is this system only in Nikon? Is it in D610 and does it give advantages over D6?
I recommend you and thank you for your work!

    • anonym

Julia sell Nikon D610 and Nikon 24-70mm f / 2.8G ED AF-S Nikkor Lens, camera mileage is not large.

  • Eugene

    Hello!
Really like your reviews. I learned a lot of new and useful things for myself. I wanted to find out if there will be a review on the Nikon d500?

  • Dmitriy

    Good afternoon!
I also join, interested in reviews of new Nikon cameras. Will you conduct? D500, D810 (no longer new) and of course D850. How much more interesting is it than 810? I'm not talking about the D5, this is a purely professional reportage camera, at a cost approaching the initial medium format ...

  • Natalia

Arkady, thank you very much for your reviews. They helped a lot when choosing a camera, then when choosing a lens. Today I recommended your blog to a colleague to decide on a camera.

  • Vladislav

    Hello dear art lovers!
I am writing to you with a huge request, because I have a love for photos since childhood, but the opportunity to take something for the first experience appeared only now.
Budget 60t. R. , I’m thinking of taking Avito with low mileage, the question is: what exactly?
I would be grateful for any feedback!
P.S. It is advised to look at nikon 7200, as an option

Good evening. The 7200, of course, is a serious device, but with such a sum you can swing at a full frame - d600, 610 kit. If you, of course, are sure that d3000, d5100 will not be enough to begin with, for the first experience, as you say.

I want to immediately feel a really worthwhile thing in my hands :)
Which may help in creating masterpieces

        • Denis

it’s much easier to find a crop (d7200 / 7100) almost like new (40/30 thousand rubles per carcass) than a full frame for 60 ty, especially if you didn’t buy a used one and don’t know the nuances. if you plan to ever take a full frame, it’s better to immediately
I’m happy with the crop and I won’t take a full frame (ttt, knock on wood)

      There are many options. Nikon D7000 / Canon 60D + universal lens + for the soul 50 / 1.4

      • Vladislav

        Thank you Arkady!
Tell me, is it worth taking photos with hands, for example, on Avito?

        • Arkady Shapoval

Quite. Check and shoot for your own pleasure.

          • Vladislav

The only question is that these models on Avito are within 25 tons. But for 50-60, then what is better to see?

            • Arkady Shapoval

Lenses to them, I already wrote

              • Vladislav

                I want a carcass for 50

            • Denis

if crop and nikon, then d7200 is a good choice for 40-45 sput

    Hello!
Are you planning to accidentally review the CANON 80D?
I really like your reviews, I read them with great interest, I want to buy this unit, your opinion is interesting.

  • Victoria

Hello! I want to buy a camera, and most likely associate my future with photography, but I don’t know which one. In the price category similar to the Nikon d5500. Please advise

    • KalekseyG

If the store’s news, it’s better to use a more serious one.

      • Valery A.

Or a used, simpler one - like a 5100, with a zoom of 18-55 (or -105), and with a 35 / 1,8 DX (or 50 / 1,8G) fix. In a year or a few you yourself will know which one you need, d5800 or d760.

        • Victoria

The plans to take used. Thanks a lot)
