    Based on my humble amateur experience, I can say that such, without exaggeration, a dark lens, and even without a stabilizer, it is just self-indulgence, pass by.
    I believe that over 200mm, a stabilizer is required, otherwise lubrication cannot be avoided.
    I had experience in using the canon 550d and sigma 70-300 without a stabilizer, I got rid of the lens and have no regrets. I learned the charms of the stabilizer on the lenses Canon 55-250 IS II, Canon 55-250 IS STM and Canon 70-300 IS USM (Best of all used).

      I used a sigma 70-300 f / 4-5.6 with stabilizer and sold it too and did not regret it.
