In short
SIGMA ZOOM K-II 1:4.5 f=70-210mm MULTI-COATED is a classic telephoto lens with variable focal length and manual focusing. There were versions with different bayonet mounts for different systems, this review shows the version for Canon film cameras with FD/FDn bayonet. The lens uses the design PUSH-PULL - one ring for changing the focal length and focusing. For its age - not bad.
It attracts with its constant relative aperture throughout the entire range of focal lengths, low cost and internal zoom.
There were several sub-versions of this lens, which differed in the spelling of the name (f=70~210mm + indication of the filter diameter 52 mm). The lens is also known and released under the name QUANTARAY 1:4.5 f=70~210mm MULTI-COATED.

SIGMA ZOOM K-II 1:4.5 f=70-210mm MULTI-COATED can be easily and simply mounted on any modern digital mirrorless camera Canon RF, or RF-S, or Ef-m. But for SLR cameras with a bayonet mount Canon EF or Ef-s installation is difficult.
Assembly, control, focus
Lens body made very high quality. The bayonet mount release button is located near the aperture control ring, closer to the bayonet mount.
The filter diameter is only 52mm, which is a small diameter considering that the lens can use a focal length of 210mm and a relative aperture of 1:4.5.
One ring is responsible for focusing and changing the focal length. To change the focal length, pull or push the piston ring, to focus, rotate the ring. SIGMA ZOOM K-II 1:4.5 f=70-210mm MULTI-COATED uses 'reversible design PUSH-PULL'- the maximum value of the focal length is available when the piston ring is closest to the camera mount.
The focal length changes smoothly, without any jerks or dips.
The focusing ring of the SIGMA ZOOM K-II 1:4.5 f=70-210mm MULTI-COATED rotates approximately 360 degrees (full rotation). The minimum focusing distance is 1 meter (at 210 mm), while the maximum magnification ratio is 1:3.5.

Sample photos on Sony NEX-6 (16MP Sony Exmor APS-C HD CMOS sensor), specially for this review, prepared Natalia (Instagram). A simple adapter was used. FD/FDn/FL -> NEX/ILCE/FE/E.

How to use FL/FD/FDn mount lenses
To use a Canon FL, Canon FD, or Canon FDn mount lens on modern mirrorless cameras, you should use the appropriate adapter:
- Canon RF/RF-S: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> RF/EOS R
- Canon EF-M: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> EF-M/EOS M
- Sony NEX/ILCE/IMCE/FE/E: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> NEX/ILCE/FE/E
- Nikon Z: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> Z
- Panasonic L / Sigma L / Leica L/T/TL: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> L
- fujifilm x: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> X/FX
- Samsung NX: adapter FD/FDn/FL -> NX
- Micro 4/3 (Panasonic/Olympus): adapter FD/FDn/FL -> M4/3
- Nikon 1 : adapter FD/FDn/FL -> N1
The adapters are suitable for FL, FD and FDn mount lenses, these mounts are backwards compatible. But using lenses with a Canon FL / Canon FD / Canon FDn mount on SLR cameras is difficult due to the long working distance. In such cases, a corrective lens adapter must be used, which will degrade the image quality.

Material prepared Arkady Shapoval.
Seemingly, the lens gives poor image brightness.
It gives a normal image... No need for dirt!
dimka from the bright fields, the center so-so, the midframe and kuti are simply thirsty.
Arkady, where is the sending of multi-size files?
