What about the stabilization on the matrix???
for 950 green the stabilizer is not provided
It's a pity, I was really looking forward to it, we'll be driving the A6500 for now
There is digital stabilization for video.
Nikon's first DX mirrorless camera?
Of course not, there is a list here, with announcement dates:
Cameras Nikon Z DX (APS-C)
Nikon Z50 [October 2019]
Nikon Z50 II [November 2024]
Nikon Z fc [June 2021, black/silver]
Nikon Z30 [June 2022]
I copied and pasted the first point from the description... from me there is only a question mark.)

The meaning of this announcement is not entirely clear. Especially considering that the R8 can now be purchased for $1200. And there is a full frame and the weight is slightly less
Well, everyone decides for themselves. To be fair, I will note that the Canon R8 appeared almost 2 years ago and has managed to fall in price, and nevertheless, the body alone costs 300€ more (even taking into account the cashback promotion) than this Nikon with a lens.
From the ad above - "Price is about $950 for the body", and the R8 body is currently $1200 on B and H. 250 bucks difference
Well, the Z50II costs $900 and that's at the start of sales. I'm not saying that for me it's an obvious choice, but for some, even 300 is not a pack of nuts. Although, if for someone, the financial situation is a determining factor, then the choice will most likely fall on the used market. It is possible that Z30 owners with an existing fleet of optics will consider this model as an upgrade. 🤷
So you can take the Z5, about the same money, the same full frame. And the same 4K in crop as the Z50-II, as the Z5.
The question is interesting and open (including a question for Arkady): what kind of upgrade is this? It's like in the iPhone 16 - the processor became 30% more powerful, and in fact by 10%, but what of it when there are no problems, hang-ups or throttling in the processor? People do not understand why they need a new iPhone!
Perhaps the main innovation will be that the camera will be able to automatically focus not only on people, cats and dogs, but also on ants and cockroaches?
Or maybe they installed an additional lens from a smartphone in the camera so that with the Nikon Nikkor Z 28-400mm 1:4-8 VR lens and AI they could get the same blur as at 85 f 0,95?
It seems marketing has led camera manufacturers to another crisis and Olegas will have a new object for trolling.
I can't say anything about other points, but EXPEED 7 is 12 times faster than the previous EXPEED 6. (Manufacturer's statement) It comes straight from the Z9 and Z8.
Judging by the reviews, the autofocus has received a good upgrade.
But, the matrix there is still slow, not stacked, therefore, with serial shooting there will be sadness: electronic shutter with all the delights of rolling shutter and banding under artificial lighting, increased noise, distorted bokeh (front electronic curtain). And there is no stabilizer. It is probably better to consider Z6 III.
The Nikon processor is an ephemeral thing, and the camera's performance may depend on a lot of other things, from the clock frequency to the RAM buffer. We know of cases when the same processor was installed on a relatively productive camera and on a less productive one, and the performance was different. Starting from the fact that the younger models had less functionality, 12 bits instead of 14, fewer megapixels, and did not work any faster than professional cameras. Now I found information that the Expeed processor was of 2 types with different markings (quote below): First used in the Nikon D3 and Nikon D300 in 2007, Expeed was later used in the Nikon D3X, Nikon D700 and Nikon D300s, marked EI -142, and a consumer line version with a reduced number of processor cores in the Nikon D90 and Nikon D5000, marked EI-149.
This suggests that all Nikon processors had different versions of the same processors.
the speed increased from 10 fps to 30 fps (three times)
video from 30p to 60p (twice)
I haven't personally used the Z5, but I've heard that the autofocus is extremely unreliable and the camera itself is slow.
This applies to third-party SLR lenses via an FTZ adapter, if I'm not mistaken. Everything seems fine with the native ones.
With af-s optics through ftz, the AF is remarkably slow in slow mode. For intact objects everything is ok) well, 4 fps is not really enough
What are you doing? Coward…
Nothing
A man saved his life and health, is that now shameful?
What trench are you writing from?
Please change the information about:
1. Single UHS-II memory card slot
2. Sensitivity -9 — +19 ev
3. 209 points with selected focus point, 231 points with auto
4. I also think it is necessary to mention the crop in 4k60p
5. There is also no specification of the device in the video area, since the emphasis in this model was placed precisely on it.
6. In point 7 there is no information that the pre-shooting function is present only in jpeg c15 and c30 in normal compression

Nikon is doing everything to ruin the APS-C segment... Apparently Nikon cameras will only be for the rich... But there were times when, say, a D7000 + 18-105 kit
… cost 16 thousand…
I don't understand your thousands, but I'll say something with an eye on hard currency. I bought my D7000 in 2011 with a small discount for 929€. The D7500 cost 2017€ at launch in 1499 (I bought it used for 950). This one costs 900€ at launch. Don't forget to take into account inflation over the 14 years since the D7000 was released.
When your country doesn't have a sovereign economy, you have to use someone else's currency.
I don't understand your statement.. in my country the official currency is the euro.
Yeah, hard currency, you get it!
