It is somewhat disappointing that, compared to the DSLR version of this superzoom, the weight and price have increased slightly and the aperture ratio has dropped slightly. Well, I would still like to have a wide angle of 24mm, and not 28mm. Well, let's wait for the tests. Maybe we’ll get an improvement at least in optical quality?

    • Andrei

Such glasses are bought by people who don’t care about optical qualities and tests

      • Andy From Far Away

I agree, but everyone must go through this path themselves. But, until the moment of awareness, there will be tests in which they will write what they would like to read as confirmation of what the part of the brain that is responsible for making decisions has decided in advance.

  • Basil

They started doing all sorts of crap... Who needs these tests? What to look for in them? I took the lens, put it on the camera, took a couple of pictures at different distances and the picture is already clear as to how the lens shoots... Either completely bad or normal. I once tried Sigma 18-250 and from the first shots I realized that this was nonsense... That’s all the tests... Otherwise they came up with tests, websites and other crap that no one needs except those who write there!

    • Arkady Shapoval

Which Sigma are you talking about? Sigma Zoom 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM (Optical Stabilizer), January 2009, 18 elements in 14 groups, macro 1:3.4 or Sigma Zoom 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM MACRO (Optical Stabilizer) , June 2012, 16 elements in 13 groups, macro 1:2.9
That's the whole conversation about commentators and their knowledge :)

    • Tserg

It’s amazing, people write, that I don’t need tests, websites about photographic equipment, it’s all crap. Just what do you write on the website about photo technology? Should you come here next?
It’s really cool for people to understand photographic equipment, as well as photography in automatic modes. But people have infinite possibilities - having bought a lens, taking a photo with it, but not getting it - having thrown it away from Smith, tomorrow I’ll buy another one for a green one))

About the lens. Tamron is trying to keep up with the leaders, especially in terms of price. Eleven-fold zoom is still so dark at the end of the Chinese price tag. 20 years ago, such dark superzooms were much cheaper from third-party manufacturers. And, apparently, they weren’t so dark. Thank you, this is not necessary))
