Radozhiva is looking for sponsors, support or a new owner

radojuvaRadozhiva is looking for a new owner, the site, my huge project is for sale. But that’s okay, I plan to devote more time to teaching photography in my courses, master classes and lessons, including on YouTube. I'm still with all my readers, I'm just evolving in a new direction and want to give more through new methods and closer contact between our creative minds. Materials on the site will continue to be published as usual for now. This note is pinned here (on the main page at the top).

If you want Radozhiva to continue swimming under my hand, please help the project financially, first of all with hosting:

  • TSerg

    Arkady, good afternoon!
Why not log in before renewing the site? Some of the content can be obtained by paying for a subscription. How did you create Vidomy Olegas on your Telegram channel?
Or go to the current website with complaints about the sponsorship of a further Internet resource. In the end, photographers, both those who call themselves professionals and amateurs, do not fall into the category of the poor, because the accumulation of photography in itself did not lead to cheap satisfaction . And it would be possible to financially support you to continue the use of the resource. I understand that there are not so many photographers in Ukraine, and some of them are currently fighting against the enemies. The main contributors to the content on the resource were still Russians. Singing that many of them will be rubbing their hands and splashing in the valley, as if the site is rotting. It will be even worse if the site reaches them through third parties.
In the current time of war, you are unlikely to find a buyer among Ukrainian photographers. The wasting of a resource in the hands of others will change its nature, which, melodiously, is the essence of the mind. What did you not want? No matter what you say, this site is completely accessible to both amateurs and those who would like to become professionals. There are fewer and fewer Cyrillic resources on the Internet, but it’s not surprising. I’m not talking about Instagram or telegram, because there’s a lot to choose from both by nature and by place.
Therefore, I will voice that proposition, as soon as I have concluded it. I am ready to be one of the sponsors, if the proposal will find support from supporters.

    • Alexander

You have a very one-sided idea of Russians. Of these, only clinical idiots (there are almost none) and zombies (there are many of them, but definitely not the majority) will rejoice at the closure of the site. I am writing from Russia, by the way. The idea of co-financing is very sound. You can use Patreon (for non-Russian Federation), but for the Russian Federation other co-financing ideas are needed, structurally more complex. Arkady, what budget is needed (in USD) to hire a team?

      • Oleksandr

Just like rockets and bombs from your side fly one-sidedly, this is the image we have of you🤷

        • Alexander

To horror, there is nothing to object to... Under bombs you have to think about survival, without options. But Russians are really different, just like Ukrainians and any others...

        • Eugene

So they are flying from your side, but for some reason I don’t see people from Russia raising this topic here, don’t you like us? It doesn’t hurt, that’s all it takes; in principle, as people in Russia, I don’t really need your love. Deal with your government. If you have a president who is a drug addict who cannot adequately understand the situation at the front or does not want to, then you elected him yourself. We don’t have any hatred for Ukrainians, if you want to dance a hopak on Red Square, no one will say a word.
Regarding the situation with the site, Arkady has great respect for his work, his dedication to his work, I think we can somehow come up with something to support the site, perhaps hand it over to Rodion, and from here we will be able to support it.

          • UserMaatRe

So they perfectly dealt with the unwanted president without our “help”, and elected the one they wanted (which we are not capable of). So people like you are not happy, now you call their president a drug addict, and missiles/bombs are flying from us.

          • Valery

Recently, one Russian bastard laughed at how he contributed to the arrest of a Ukrainian woman for speaking the Ukrainian language. This was in the occupied territories. And there will still be a hopak on Red Square

            • Eugene

These are fantasies, you won’t get arrested anywhere for speaking Ukrainian, unless you start driving in the wrong direction

In Moscow, you can calmly speak Ukrainian, no one minds, as long as you don’t start provoking people by doing so, you shouldn’t confuse the Ukrainian language with current Ukrainian politics

        • Andrei

in 1987 in Kyiv they refused to sell food to me and my sister because... we spoke Russian

          • Dmitriy

Yeah, and then the cat came with a lamp and sold it))

            • Andrei

Grandmother’s neighbor recognized us and said that we had come to visit her. But whether you believe it or not, I don’t care. if your brain is fucked up, nothing can be fixed

              • Dmitriy

Yes, yes, every z-patriot has a kick-ass story about how they didn’t sell him food in the 80s in Kyiv, or strangled crests on the train, or punched him in the face at the station in Ivano-Frankovsk as soon as they heard the Russian language. Just don’t tell them to Ukrainians, these stories are for your internal audience.

            • Eugene

Dmitry, this is not fiction, I also heard this from older people who, since their childhood, told memories of how Russians were not loved in Odessa (for example), so this is not fictional

          • Vladimir

So, what is next? Do you know that the chairman of the All-Russian Society of Disabled Persons from the end of the USSR received his disability because Estonian nationalists threw him from one of the observation platforms in Tallinn? There are freaks everywhere, don't be an idiot and make sweeping generalizations. You see, someone didn’t want to sell him bread, he was offended by the whole people. Kindergarten.

          • Alexander Rifeev

lies :-))) in 1989 I was in Kyiv during the November holidays - I helped two local guys choose a camera in a photo store, they were completely unaware - they asked - where are you from? – from Kuban – Oh. They’re all ours there! :-))))

      • TSerg

It’s a pity, not one-sided. Having been in the Muscovite region for a long time: getting used to it, serving. Everything was in different regions and I can honestly say that on average everything is approximately the same. connected with great-power chauvinism and that’s all said. For me now there are no good Russians.
Ale is third party to this site. Mova about those who helped Arkady and saved the site. We all want it anyway. I wouldn’t want it to sink into oblivion, or get it to the Chinese, like your photo
RU. That's why I wrote such a proposition.

    • Eugene

      >Screams that many of them will be rubbing their hands and splashing in the valley, as if the site is rotting.

The moment when the delirium generator was activated. I live in Russia, in Moscow, SHOCK, I watch Oleg, I read Arkasha (and sometimes argue with him), I treat the Ukrainians and my government in the country calmly.

The main thing is to imagine less, when you come to Russia, no one will call you crests here, no one will try to hit you in the face, imagine less and do not watch your news (few people watch them in the Russian Federation)

  • Eugene

Arkash, you accept USDT, then there will be no problems, I think you’ll find where to cash them

  • wj

The main pillar of the site is quality reviews. If Akradiy stops reviewing technology, the site will lose its meaning, since the same news can be read in other places.
Is there any other solution where the owner would not have to give up the site? I am ready to donate a small amount monthly, as I already do with other photo sites. If it's just about money.

  • Dmitriy

Arkady should have sold the site 5 years ago, when there was “life” here, comments, and a community. Now, what's the point of it to a potential buyer? Most of the content in recent years has been Eshmakov’s necrophilia and news rewriting. If a well-promoted YouTube channel with reviews on current topics came “wholesale” to the site, it would be a different matter. But he's not there. :(
It would be a pity if in the end everything fizzles out and such a rich database of old glass disappears with the site. But, I’m afraid, everything will end the same way as for Lospapados and other photo-themed sites.

  • Natalia

    Hello!
I want to express my deep gratitude to you and your reviews.
It was thanks to you that I was able to find exactly the model of the camera that I took first... second... lenses for them, and even now I look and read reviews, looking for exactly the lenses that I need.

Your site is a treasure trove of information and it would be a huge pity if everything goes into oblivion.

I think many, due to opportunities and circumstances, would somehow help with financial support for the site, regardless of the city and country of residence.

    • Alexander

      100%

  • Keeper

Maybe it makes sense to take at least a static copy of the site (articles, reviews and comments) while the site is available?

    • Eugene

Yes, it’s enough to pay for the domain for several years in advance, Arkasha says that there is no money, and for obvious reasons he has no time for that.

      • Pavlo

A domain costs a penny compared to hosting, and Radozhiva’s website is heavy.

      • Dmitriy

I am begging you. The same Olegas, who lives here in Ukraine, successfully runs a blog, gains paid subscribers, donations, etc. But if you write longreads about old optics, it is clear that there will be no audience and no money, since the topic is interesting to a tiny number of people.
For Arkady, the theme itself “died.” All. These 100500 high-quality reviews of mirror/manual glasses are no longer interesting to most, since manufacturers changed mounts and the market was flooded with very high-quality Chinese ones like Meike, Viltrox, etc. And the camera market has changed, the concept of use has changed, users have changed. If I, say, buy some Sony|Fuji for $2000-2500, then I’ll probably find another $1000-2000 for modern AF optics, since I’m probably making money with it and my time is more valuable than spending weeks selecting a 90- 2000s, so that “not broken, not painted”, without mold, worked normally on a modern camera. A couple of years ago I bought 33mm 1,4 and 23mm 1,4 from Viltrox for $600 in total. To record video - a gun, a bomb, a rocket. And for photos, 24mp is enough for me. Even if there is not the most ringing sharpness at 1.4, and at 1,6 too. But for Instagram and Facebook it’s through the roof. And why do I need all these fossils, what did Arkady specialize in?

  • Fedor Ivanovich

Apparently the author is tired of writing for free... This is the first... And the second and saddest thing is that with the advent of mirrorless cameras and rising prices for photographic equipment, no one needs photography... Most of them have switched to smartphones and they are happy with it... And this is not photography at all, in the classical sense of the word... And so - “Me and the barbecue with kebab.” Look what happened to authoritative sites like Profotos... Stupid advertising of smartphones and articles like “a smartphone is also a camera.”
And third, no matter how regrettable it may sound, Russian amateur photographers are unlikely to help the author from Ukraine for those bombs and missiles that fly to Sevastopol, Belgorod, Bryansk and so on... I wish such authors the same thing, only a hundred times more... An army that is afraid to fight with the Army and fires at defenseless civilians is not an army, but a bunch of sniveling freaks and they will pay for it oh, how!!!!

    • Andy From Far Away

What a fool you are... you brought the war to Ukraine. Before your attack, nothing was flying to Russia.

    • Dmitry Kostin

Can you remember who started it all and where it all started?
If you think very carefully, you will probably remember how Yushchenko, Tymoshenko and the entire Ukrainian government were attacked on Russian TV, even BEFORE THE CRIMEA. Propaganda was already working THEN.

    • watcher

This is the essence of all unwashed. Creatures with dirty heads and a lack of understanding of basic cause-and-effect relationships.

      • Faust

Yeah! NATO equipment at the borders of Russia or vice versa? The question is rhetorical, there is no need to answer.

        • Andy From Far Away

          Another “lost” one...

          • Faust

You don’t need to put up labels, you don’t need much intelligence.

            • Andy From Far Away

Is failure to observe cause-and-effect relationships a big deal?

              • Faust

They comply with rules, regulations, requirements... Communication - for example, they find! If there is such confusion in the head, then where will the understanding of the reasons come from?

              • Andy From Far Away

Russian has never been my main language, much less my native one. I only lived in Kazakhstan until I was 5 years old. But that’s not the point... the essence of what I wanted to say is clear in principle. The 1300 km border with NATO appeared as a result of Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The same applies to spare weapons for Ukraine. Do you seriously believe in the fairy tale that someone could attack Russia? To a nuclear power? Doesn’t it bother you that the government in the Russian Federation and its allies has not changed for more than 20 years? The typical scheme of autocracies and dictatorships is to hang around in power until death and blame all the problems on the West.

              • Eugene

Listen, what difference does it make how many and who is in power, what is the result of this? Can you tell me what the result was from what happened before ’14 and after in Ukraine? There was no result, as there were broken roads all around - they remained that way, nothing has changed.

And I haven’t heard anything from a single Crimean over the past 10 years that they would like to go back. Perhaps this is also an indicator, or not?

              • Andy From Far Away

What kind of economic or infrastructure development can we talk about when there is a war in the country, territories are captured, etc.? How to attract investors in such conditions? How to develop infrastructure or education when the defense industry eats up the rest of the budget?

              • Faust

Logical thinking has nothing to do with language, but is connected with the thinking of the individual. The appearance of NATO borders closer to the borders of Russia and the appearance of NATO equipment near the borders of Russia are not mutual processes, but parallel ones. After the collapse of the USSR, there was no NATO equipment near the borders of Russia, and NATO’s borders expanded. Do you want to say that there was no NATO equipment in Ukraine until 22, and good Western friends began to supply it only after 22, and these good Western friends were so imbued with the misfortune of the unfortunate Ukrainians that they decided to help them? I’m telling you, you’re hanging labels, you don’t understand the meaning of words, but you’re trying to draw some conclusions, it’s not worth it. Is Germany a democratic country? Merkel served in office for 16 years or does that not count? Why doesn’t Apple change its CEO, autocracy?

              • Andy From Far Away

You are trying to justify your power in any way and are drawing some absurd parallels. What does MS have to do with it? This is not even a state company, but a private one. Do they influence US legislation or the Constitution?
                Farther..
The German Chancellor is not the head of state. The head of Germany, for a moment, is the president and the position is limited to a maximum of two terms. In addition, Merkel's party (CDU) did not receive an absolute majority of votes and was forced to create coalitions with other parties.

              • Faust

You just don’t understand the point of comparing, for example, with Apple or Merkel, but I’ll tell you a secret. They don’t change it when it suits them. But if they don’t change it there, it’s because it’s the West and in general they are an example of democracy, and if they don’t change it in Russia, then it’s evil and autocracy.

              • Eugene

                > What kind of economic or infrastructure development can we talk about when there is a war in the country, territories are captured, etc.? How to attract investors in such conditions? How to develop infrastructure or education when the defense industry eats up the rest of the budget?

The war started in 2022, not until 2014 😂

    • Eugene

Fyodor Ivanovich, I don’t agree with you. Photography has existed and will continue to exist, it’s just that it has moved away from amateurism into a professional direction, since the amateur sector has been occupied by the niche of smartphones.

Regarding Arkady and his business. The site is about photography, and Arkady is Arkady, for example, it doesn’t matter to me who he’s rooting for now, I met him as the person who created Radojuva and of course I thank him very much for such a lot of work in creating content, the site is useful - with that don't argue.

    • Vengeance

Listen here, Fedor - yesterday you drove into the Zhitlova rich land in the Dnieper - people suffered, every day when you fly from the fucking Belgorod to Kharkov - people are dying... Fuck you in the ass, a scrawl of insults! We can destroy Sevastopol, Belgorod, Bryansk and so on... fuck your friends! I wish such authors the same thing, only a hundred times more - you will be seen a hundred times more, you bastard! a bunch of sniveling freaks - that's you, bitch, katsapskie bastards! Why the hell did you come to my country when I called you? No, you should go to hell, you pig dogs are finished!

      • watcher

I'm good to talk to you. So the wide-field deer, the Dnieper, and the steep slopes began to trample the throats of the fucking Muscovites.

      • Eugene

We rode on the Maidan (c)

        • Vengeance

Zhenya, get off your ass... what do you care about what we’re doing at home? A? Asvabatіtelі hєrovi…

          • Eugene

No, well, you have to agree, we got the hang of it. Were the results worth it? I'm just asking

            • Andy From Far Away

The way you talk about the war, about the grief of thousands of families who have lost relatives and friends, about millions forced to leave their home or forced to live among the occupiers - says only one thing about you - you are a moron!

            • Vengeance

Anyone who has a tantrum is going to get a shit kick in the ass. What's it to do with you (and all 140 million fucking pig-dogs) that we've gotten around to it? Does that make you sick? Bullshit, bullshit...

              • Eugene

Do you remember how it all started? HTO NOT ROCKING TOY MOSKAL
                And then..
Rrrrrrrrrryaayayayayayayayayayayayaya TCC MINIA is taken by Ryayaya

I still remember how it started at the end of 13 on the Maidan, the morons were fed, given water, and gathered in crowds. And now, from those who have stuck sticks in their own wheels, they shout OOO MOSKOLYAK!!1 FUCK ON TOBI!!1

Well, it was and will be a fool to live in Ukraine

            • Vengeance

              Die bastard Katsapska...

      • Eugene

Fedor listens carefully and reads the news:

      • Vladimir P.

Have you noticed that as soon as the crests run out of anti-aircraft missiles somewhere, they stop flying at residential buildings? Not only are you shooting with Soviet (!) or NATO weapons, but you are also placing anti-aircraft systems in residential areas, which is prohibited by the rules of warfare and military manuals! If you want to place weapons among houses, evict people! For the military, hiding behind civilians is the highest meanness. The crests mastered it perfectly. You can be angry, call names, you can even put shit in your mouth and spit at me, but you are already at the last stage of dehumanization, and nothing will save you.

        • Andy From Far Away

What a heresy.. Russia imposed a war on Ukraine and people like you are still trying to dictate to the Ukrainians what rules to fight by.

“Have you noticed that as soon as the crests run out of anti-aircraft missiles somewhere, they stop flying at residential buildings?”

Unsubstantiated nonsense. In recent months, the Ukrainians have been severely short of ammunition, and yet they were flying into the cities every day.
What about the targeted destruction of civilian energy and water infrastructure? This is a direct violation of the Geneva Convention, but this does not stop the Russian Federation from carrying out daily attacks on critical infrastructure. AND? Have you already written to Putin that this cannot be done?

          • Somebody

Aahhaah... you are in your repertoire as always.

The German asked the Russian: why did you attack Germany in 1945?
Russian: why did you attack in 1941?
German: I don’t want to hear about 41, why did you come now?

Why is Ukraine bombing oil refineries? Have you already written to Geneva? Ahahaha

      • Alexander Rifeev

two friends meet in the summer of 2014 in Lviv... one in uniform, with a machine gun, a duffel bag and a helmet... - where are you going? - shoot Muscovites in Donbass... - what if they start shooting too? - and what are we for?

  • Glory

Arkady, is it possible to find out at least an approximate cost of hosting?
Does it make sense to support all this with volunteers or just freeze the site and move it to the archive for now, without the ability to add comments/articles? There are technical solutions for archiving; then the only cost will be paying for the domain.

  • Eugene

Well, who can argue that there are morons here and there. Do you have adequate people? Regarding the hopak, of course you can dance, the most important thing is how, at your own request or by order. Have no illusions.

  • Konstantin

Just in case, I started downloading the site, if anything happens I’ll upload it as an archive to the root tracker.

    • Sergei

      Konstantin, leave a link))
In general, the site is very useful and contains a lot of interesting material.

      • Konstantin

If the site is closed and I have time to download it, I’ll post it somewhere as an archive, then check the comments on YouTube or in the cart.

  • Vladimir P.

Arkady publicly collected donations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine; buying or sponsoring this site while being in the Russian legal field is very risky. So, the resource is interesting, but regarding the benefits - I have questions, I can’t imagine how you can recoup the costs of the purchase without changing the topic. This market niche is in contraction stage

    • Eugene

If there is information about the fees of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then it’s better to share, I don’t mind donating to the site, but the problem is that if this information is true, then I and others who live in the legislative field of the Russian Federation may end up under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, so of course A CDE PROOF ?

I can support the site, but as for Arkady’s opinion regarding the situation in his country - I believe that this is not my business and his right, but I would not want to have any legal problems in the future.

      • Hopak

Look at the posts here after February 22, Arkasha boasted of helping the bitches

        • Eugene

Well, after February 22, many people changed their guidelines over time, I don’t think that Arkasha, seeing the current situation in his country, would now start wasting money on the Armed Forces of Ukraine, given that we see in the video how TCCs grab people by force and how many unfortunately there are guys who want to escape wars either die by drowning or are captured at the border. Arkasha himself needs money and clearly not to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are helping from the west, and the grandmothers there are feeding the entire top leadership into their pockets, this is understandable.

        • Gregor_S

          @Gopak
It's very strange to read this
          one country attacked another,
you should remain silent and not bark

          • Hopak

Russia is returning Russian lands. What's so strange about this?

          • Vladimir P.

But it seems like war hasn’t been declared... One country has come to disarm the Nazis, the other recognizes that it is the armed Nazis who are resisting, and continues, for example, to transit gas through pipes under the combat areas. And no one damages these pipes.

      • Keeper

Maybe it would be better for the author to focus on supporting his project and paying for hosting, instead of donations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine?

  • Dmitry Kostin

Most of the comments in Russian in the comments to this article cause a feeling of disappointment and shame at the same time.

    • Eugene

The main thing is not to forget that the site itself was in Russian for 15 years and united a lot of people from different countries.

    • Somebody

Keep us informed further, the opinion of some no-name is so important to us.

  • Paramog

It's a shame to be Russian! SUGS!!!

  • resist2

add ru card! how to help then?

    • Arkady Shapoval

      added

      • Somebody

Arkady, where did the flag of Ukraine and the site’s motto go? (place of aperture) that were under Rajiv’s inscription in the site’s header? (oh how inconvenient...) Wind of change?

        • Keeper

There was no need to remove the motto “Place of light”; I liked it. Nice reference to Castaneda.

          • Somebody

In form yes, in content no.

          • Oleg

Castaneda is right. EHS is the fatal threshold of humanity.

          • Azatbek

By the way, a super motto. why was it removed?

  • Sergei

And what about the leading Chinese manufacturers of photographic optics...
They are potentially interested in qualified reviews and advertising for their products on such specialized photo sites.
It might be better to contact them (marketing and promotion in the post-Soviet space).

The actual value of this site is less in older publications and reviews. And all new publications are simply a repost from other publications. And the shanovny Arkady’s refusal to switch to civilized language (if you don’t know Ukrainian, write in English) and the faith of the “good hands” in the past reduced interest in this resource.

    • Sergey

      > switch to civilized Ukrainian language
This is the best joke of this month.

      • kind

yeah, especially when they take you to Tsk on a minivan - you are filled with the level of civilization.

    • Eugene

Why should he switch to Ukrainian? What good reason should there be? Many Ukrainians are not comfortable with it, but why posturing? To then recognize those who do not speak the language as enemies?)

    • wj

The site has Ukrainian and English versions. And also Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese and French. What other words do you not see?

(so hostile that a large part of Ukrainians simply went crazy due to the war)

      • Yuriy

Dyakuyu. I don’t even know that it is possible to read Arkady with human literature.

        • Eugene

          How ironic hahaha

“And all new publications are simply a repost from other publications”

Well, you already wrote such a comment,
      could immediately point to plagiarism,
otherwise you look like a fool

      @Yuriy
      “switch to civilized language”

      are you serious?
Do you respect civilized divisions of people today?
      dvichi like a fool

Don’t get carried away, he’s the same Banderite as you, who will be awakened by women with saucepans on their heads, you can continue reading this resource. And those who have been out of the woods for a while - so all the normal Banderaites are afraid...

I wanted to throw a pretty penny through the PP, but it didn’t work. first time like this. Is it possible that the PP itself blocks transfers to Ukraine?

  • Exporator AB

“Radozhiva is looking for a new owner, the site, my huge project is for sale.” - close up: no patriotism, no business. You can’t win the war that way.

    • wj

What's the point of partisanship? And how is the ongoing war related to the share of the photo site?

  • Alexander Rifeev

it’s a pity... the best photosite may die... the same process is going on in the Russian Federation - a number of smart and good sites (not at all politicized) have ceased to exist... alas...

  • Sasha

How much is the website, I still don’t understand?!)
Yes, the problem is that the Ukrainians will not donate.

    • Sasha

Did you laugh? Why would a Ukrainian give something to someone just like that? :)))

  • Vladimir

    Zelensky

  • Taras
