Purely electronic shutter with a 'slow' sensor. Hello rolling shutter. A shoe without contacts - only suitable for attaching a flashlight or microphone. Complete inability to work with pulsed light. Just a very strange decision for photography. And for video, due to the small body, there will most likely be rapid overheating. A very controversial camera/video camera from Panasonic.

    • Pkuutn

So this is a point-and-shoot camera, just a full-frame one.
LUTs in the camera, multi-colored cases, a special application for immediate publication.

I personally don’t know who will buy it, because ordinary Instagrammers and TikTokers will take it on their phone with the same success.
Maybe a new generation of metrosexuals - who used to walk around with a watering can and water, but now they need a video, here's a camera for 1500.

  • makar

Just make a normal shoe, leave a mechanical shutter, and release a couple of pancakes - and it will be a super tool for street and other things.

    • sandro

Leika won't appreciate it. She still needs to sell the Q3.

    • Alexander

It will slip out of your hands. Especially if you attach the lens.

    • Pkuutn

18-40 was already announced, it seems, small and light, like a crop top, only for the full size. This is underneath it.

    • Pkuutn

      Sorry, 18-60

  • sandro

So far, the more or less suitable glass for such a carcass is Sigma 45/2.8
Everything else is bigger and heavier.

  • Sergei

Yeah! They started doing crap just to sell it!

  • Anton

Very doubtful. There is no viewfinder, the price is higher than the R8, and for a couple of hundred you can even get the S5 II. For $800 it would be ok, but not for fifteen hundred

  • Faust

According to reviews, in addition to all the listed disadvantages, video recording is limited or overheated, or limited to 15 minutes at 4k and 10 minutes at 6k. Some sleepy guy snuck into the Panasonic.

  • i is glorious

I would clarify that the “hybrid focusing system” uses phase detection AF sensors. Older Panasonic models also all have a hybrid system, but most use contrast AF with DFD, which has disadvantages in the context of video shooting.

  • Frogfurt

In the footsteps of Sigma FP... )))
