“Programmable button (typically used to stop focusing)”
It seems that the words are clear to me individually, but the meaning as a whole is not clear to me. Maybe I’m just stupid... what is meant by “focus stop” in the sense of practical application?
By default, this is analogous to the AF-L button (Auto Focus Lock) - locks/stops focusing. In fact, this function duplicates the function of the AF-L button, which is often located on some cameras. The whole essence of the button is hidden in its name - the button is mainly designed to lock the focus; to put it roughly, the button 'freezes' or 'stops' the focusing position in a certain position.
For example, this is convenient when you need to take a series of photographs while focusing on the same stationary object.
And, of course, it can always be reprogrammed for something useful - more buttons - more convenience
Fir-fir... I stepped.
In principle, everything became extremely clear in three letters - “AF-L”.
Thank you!
“And, of course, it can always be reprogrammed into something useful - more buttons - more convenience”
Amen!
