    It suggests itself from 60 megapixels to 30, and only then to 15.

    I crossed paths with this European a couple of times on the streets of the Centro Habana quarter. I suspect that his camera cost as much as a house (in poor condition, like many things there) with the owner’s Lada and the owner of this house to boot. The streets of Havana are not calm and many advised not to take out your phone where there are no police, even in the dark. But they don’t touch the camera. Seeing Leika in the hands of a photographer against the backdrop of local ruins was amazing - just a feast during the plague.

      Yes, it's not much. For example, APS-C FUJIFILM X-H2 or FUJIFILM X-T5 have 40 MP each. This means that a full frame with the same technology will have 90 MP. I am sure that in 1-2 years we will see this.
      And the Canon 50DS/R already had 5 MP back in 2015 (almost 10 years ago). It's time to release a hundred

        There are no technological problems in releasing a “hundredth” with a FF matrix size, but other problems arise; due to the diffraction limit, such a matrix in FF cameras will work in “mobile” mode, i.e. the ability to vary depth of field by aperture is significantly reduced. It’s one thing to make a small “light” mobile phone lens with a microscopic focal length and, accordingly, with a huge depth of field, and another thing is a fast lens for FF, what will there be a FF camera with 150 MP which can only be shot with an open aperture with a shallow depth of field, and with If you try to aperture, will the detail drop sharply to the same level as an FF camera with 50 MP or even 24 MP?
        Judging by the test images of the world, for a 24MP crop the detail begins to fall at aperture 8, for the same 32MP crop this detail begins to fall at 5,6
        And this is not to mention color rendition.
        So, 100+ MP only makes sense on matrices larger than FF

          Scarecrows about the differential threshold are more of a scare for those of little faith. There are not so many tasks for those who are heavily covered. And those who need closed ones already know what they need and can bypass this drawback/limitation.
          And a few more examples, at the same 40-60 megapixels in modern FF cameras (5ds, 5dsr, R5, R5C, a7r II, a7r III, a7r IV, a7r V, a7CR, D850, Z7 II, Z7, Z8, Z9, S1R, SL2, fp L) photographers calmly shoot on F/16-F/22 and for their tasks do not worry about detail and differential threshold at all. On any website, simply enter the name of the specified cameras and look, for example, at the same landscapes and apertures on which they were shot. Similar to these examples for small-pixel cameras: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
