Material prepared Arkady Shapoval.
The ring of manually adjusting the aperture when taking photographs on current cameras does not work, only for video. Photos will be available with cameras released in 2024.
On some sites the price for the lens is $2999.
It’s good that the thread under the light filter is not 95 or 105 mm)) The good news is that now Kenon has as many as three zooms 24-105, which is due to the company of the German comrade.
The one that is darkest, you wouldn’t buy in your right mind)
It is customary for some swineherds to kill people unknown to “V”.
It seems that Mikhail Mav is respected as a figurative expression, in which “you” are skinny, and not you especially.
23 elements... Is it light to pass through them?
No, it always removes a black rectangle
🙄
Arkady, what's the point of sarcasm?
this is the real answer - light cannot pass through 23 lenses, so the lens always produces a black rectangular image on any camera
Fortunately, these elements are not made from cheap brands of Chinese glass, and the coating is not applied in the basements of Xinjiang. So problems with light transmission are something about some nonikkor 35/1.4 or astrhori 35/1.8, made from yellow-green glass welded from dirty reagents.
24-105 is a very specific set of focal lengths, perhaps best suited for fashion photography. Well, or “everyday life” with its “take a picture of me against the next background,” but telephones have long been densely occupied there. It's still not light enough, especially for such a ridiculous price. In general, you need to understand why to take it.
Very strange statement.
24-105/4 - a super popular solution among many photographers
24-70/2.8 – an established professional lens, super convenient, very in demand
24-105/2.8 – both at once
24-105 is reportage indoors or fashion in the studio with full-length portraits in mind. Where there will be enough light for the low aperture ratio 4 (and in fact even lower) to be compensated. There is so much light in the studio that you can shoot at 8, capturing the interior. And the size and weight, accordingly, are quite suitable, so as not to carry around a big fool.
In travel photography there will always be a lack of bottom-to-top range. Plus it will be too bulky and heavy. For portraits, 70-200 is also better.
In general, it turns out that due to the large dimensions, weight and significantly higher price, they received an extra stop of aperture ratio. The already compromise lens has become even more of a compromise, suitable mainly for studio work or filming staged shots, most often from a tripod.
It seems to me that you simply cannot come to terms with the capabilities of the new product, trying to suck features out of thin air
I'm not sucking out features, I'm trying to determine the scope of applicability. 24-105 is not for everyone. The even heavier and much more expensive 24-105 will fit even less. I like 17-55 on crop, for example (this is its equivalent at a stretch), but it is very limiting in terms of genre. For the full frame, I covered the 24-105 range with primes; I didn’t even look towards the zoom precisely for the reasons indicated. And the new product in this regard is even further away from typical application scenarios. The lens is undoubtedly good and will find its niche, but it will be even narrower than that of users of the good old 24-105/4.
It still seems to me that you are exaggerating. If we are talking about crop, then think about “similar” Tamron 17-70mm F / 2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Model B070, sold and used with a bang.
By the way, there have already been similar focal lengths and aperture ratios Laowa OOOM 25-100mm T2.9
