  • Arthur

So what is fear and risk?

    • Rodion

Apparently, in a colossally increasing spherochromatism and aberrations of higher orders.

      • sandro

The strangest Chinese. They couldn’t make a normal tessar 80 / 2.8 for this matrix, if you really want to sell glass for GFX ...

        • i is glorious

Yes, strange. AstrHori is the only modern manufacturer who screwed up when designing an 85 / 1.8 portrait lens: not only does it scale in the blur zone (already at a growth distance), it also weighs more than 600 grams: this is more than some 85 / 1,4 .

          • Rodion

So it feels like some kind of self-taught optical circle, who started with a plastic rockstar 10/8, and now they got to the “optical DJ”, who makes optics for 7artizins and tartisan.

            • Andrii

It seems that the optical dj was playing zomz. Competition and all the same))).

              • Arkady Shapoval

It's just that Nolan is filming an Oppenheimer sequel.

              • Rodion

The governor of the Moscow Region said with his own lips that ZOMZ has not been producing optics and mechanics for a long time))))))))))))

            • sandro

Their idea for a compact 18/8 shift wasn't bad.
Only for some reason the shift was called full-frame, but in fact it only worked under crop ...

    Nothing is clear

  • Andy From Far Away

Because of this yellow dot, there is a feeling that the company is manufacturing “some” lens, and only then finds out what it will be. The series is photographed and then the working aperture range and focal length are marked with a felt-tip pen on the body.

    • Arkady Shapoval

More often they forcibly prohibit the use of open without indicating it. It turns out that the user sees an already always covered aperture, which gives an acceptable image quality, but thinks that the lens is good when open.

      • Andy From Far Away

In principle, of course, there is nothing wrong with this practice, as long as the optics work and correspond to what is stated in the name of the lens. Quite a lot of manufacturers solved optical problems due to “excessive glass diameters (Canon, Zeiss, etc.), so that these lenses conditionally work on larger SF sensors, covering them with some flaws in the corners. To me, as the end user, it doesn't matter how the manufacturer solved these or those technical problems, as long as the result suits me. And of course the price...
