“Is that a Sony in your pocket, or are you so glad to see me”
But seriously, I don’t see much sense from it for such a price. The same R5 is not fundamentally more expensive, but gives significantly more
And Kenon also banned other manufacturers from making autofocus lenses for their mount. So the price of the R5 with lenses can be fundamentally more expensive.
There are many factors, and the tail of lenses from third-party manufacturers (see the section “Autofocus full-frame lenses for the Sony E / FE mount are also produced by other manufacturers in this announcement”) means a lot of things
I saw the news that the RF mount has already been opened to third-party manufacturers under certain licensing conditions.
10 years behind, wow
Modifying your already produced lenses for a different mount is not 10 years behind, but 2-3 years. As we saw with Fuji X
Another question: will the same tamron want to transfer its entire line to Sony's main competitor, given that Sony is one of the owners of this company now? ...
“The same tamron wants to transfer its entire line to Sony’s main competitor, given that Sony is one of the owners of this company ...”
So. And this is interesting.
Is there a source to read that Sony has invested in Tamron?
Just hearing about it for the first time.
Sandro, Nikon has a NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 which (rumored to) has a lot in common with the Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 Di III RXD. Against this background, such a collaboration between Tamron and Nikon looks strange.
Here is from the Wikipedia article about Tamron ..
“One of the company's largest shareholders is Sony's fund, Sony Corp. Pension Fund (14,88% stake).”
Curiously
Some suspicious number
very suspicious)
I found this news on the Internet. It describes that a representative of the marketing department boasted to some publication that Kenon plans to open licensing for some companies and some lenses (if these lenses do not interfere with Kenon's plans). Each application will be considered separately.
Between plans and "opening" can take a considerable time. Yes, and one and a half lenses from three manufacturers can license. That's when the Sigmas, Tamrons, Viltroks, Samyangs on the RF mount fall down - that's when we can talk about opening the mount for third-party manufacturers.
With Canon marketing now trying to fill the market with their new relatively cheap mirrorless lenses, I suspect that licensing will be on the principle of 6 “God take it, we don’t need it” ...
According to the characteristics on paper, the price for this really seems to be too high, but considering that this is a sleepyhead, in reality, the characteristics may turn out to be even worse.
In a press release, Sony claims a 5-axis stabilizer with 7 stops of compensation. So there is a mistake in the description.
fixed
digital fc with a diffraction limitation of the aperture in the region of 2,8 for 2 thousand tired raccoons ... I have no words :-)))) ...
why not just 0.95? Or in the sect of witnesses of the diffraction threshold did not have time to update the manuals?
There, the curator died with marvelous surroundings.
All! Let's go gentlemen! Alexander exposed the deception!

Applying the laws of physics for the purposes of photography is one hell of a collection of compromises. However, there is a solution for every problem. And modern Central Committees make it easy to solve most problems without special troubles. The only difference is that some take pictures, while others compare numbers up to the 7th value after the decimal point.
Given that now really good optics are able to achieve the best image quality at f2.8-f4 without any problems, this is not a problem at all. Another thing is what are the requirements for the telecentricity of lenses in image space - with such and such a small pixel. The question of the thickness of the matrix filter is also relevant - not only is it different for all manufacturers, but for one brand it can vary greatly from camera to camera, and mirrorless lenses are usually very sensitive to this.
I would like to hope that at least one camera manufacturer has standards for the thickness of the matrix filter. If with “native” lenses it will be the same madhouse as with lenses for a watering can, it will already be just a disgrace.
The Sony NEX5 and the conditional A6700 have 100% different filter thicknesses.
.. and 10 years of age difference.
for admiring the picture on the screen of a laptop monitor with a capacity of 1,9 million pixels, such aperture values \u10b\u15bare quite suitable :-))) but what about an increase of XNUMX-XNUMX times, for example, when printing a real photo or when photographing objects in “macro”?
serious macro is still done by staking
those. pseudo-macro :-))) kind of macro...
in the sense of pseudo-maro?
What kind of dreamer are you?
61 MP) DD down, Noise up, another craft from Sony.
I wonder where between 45-60 mp the DIY mode starts
On three pieces from Baku. Photography as an art is becoming the preserve of select artists. And the artist must be hungry. The 10 2007 megapixel compact covers the A3 in printing so that the RF owner begins to peer closely, looking for a catch. The problem of quality sufficient for most photographers has long been solved, the masses shoot with phones, artists choose from second-hand ones, mass media buy their employees devices from the same company as the previous ones, and expensive Sonyas will not become widespread, that is, they will remain handicrafts. Good crafts, they move technology forward, but not a conveyor belt, piece crafts. I don’t know where to put 50 megapixels, even if I’m a rich enthusiast and can take this device, then an extra 40 is an extra hassle. People are generally blind, the situation when a customer needs such permission is so rare that there cannot be many such crafts. There’s no point in taking it just like that, “for a project” means including in advance the price three pieces of greenery per carcass, three-five-six-twenty per glass, plus media plus backup plus percent - new rapid-fire, Monique is not simple (two), little man with straight arms... so we’ll reach a hundred. What if it's a group? Moreover, it is cheaper to attract ready-made teams, even if not with 60 megapixels. No, there won’t be many of them, they will collect and test using any workaround technologies, literally crafts
Lyrics. I have another d40, I can sing odes that its 6 MP is enough for everything in the world. And I’m not just singing, but I’m still filming, having much better equipment. It does not interfere. And megapixels are needed for 8k/4k video. 8k is at least 40 MP for 2/3 format
There is no need to consider purchasing this camera; there are more popular and inexpensive A7 III, A7 IV, EOS R, EOS R6, Z6/Z6 mk2.
