and what is the interest of photographers in using anamorphic lenses? they were used to shoot large-format films on ordinary film, then, when projected onto the screen, the image through the same anamorphic lens, but reverse to the film one, became a normal size on a wide movie screen ...
I suppose: when shooting photo models in swimsuits with such a lens, the growth of a photo model artificially increases, it becomes with proportions like a Barbie doll, and stupid girls looking at the photo (they have zero knowledge of photo technique) still cannot achieve the same conditions :- ))

That is if it is "correct". And so - even it can be seen that there are no edges. Planar 25/2 by itself in 7 lenses is not a good solution for APS-C.
