Something mirrorless compactness does not add much ...
This is the first criticism of “lighter” mirrorless cameras from foreign reviewers since the advent of modern full-frame mirrorless systems. That half a hundred, that even 40mm are all monstrous.
The optical scheme is very unusual, I can not remember anything similar. It is clear that this is the development of some kind of asymmetric scheme, but which one?
Although some analogies can be drawn with the Kaleinar scheme, before which and after which a group of lenses was added almost symmetrically to compensate for aberrations
On the other hand, the front group resembles the same Nokt 58 / 0,95.
Sigma and Noct
There are reviews on the Internet, judging by the size, a fifty dollars should not have tangible defects. And they are. Focus-breezing this time. There is a frigging on the open. And attention is distortion, there is a ready-made profile in the lightroom, but a lens that weighs more than half a kilo! has such flaws.
Examples from the pre-production version (with a little back focus):

The pattern is similar to modern portraits 85-135mm.
