All ZEISS Batis lenses have auto focus. ZEISS Batis lenses are designed to work with the system's full-frame mirrorless cameras Sony E / FE. Carl Zeiss (simply Zeiss) and Sony have been collaborating with each other for a long time, for example, creating lenses Sony Zeiss ZA, Zeiss Touit, Zeiss loxia this allows for excellent compatibility between ZEISS Batis lenses and Sony E mount cameras. Interesting information about the origins of optical ZEISS Batis circuits here.

As for the line itself, I will mention a few interesting facts.
1) They have a feature - an OLED display on top, which displays the focusing distance and other useful information.
2) Batis 25/2 has a real FR - 24mm. Moreover, its optical design coincides with the Tamron patent for 24/2.
3) Batis 85 / 1,8 is also patented by Tamron.
4) Although the lenses are very good, most of them are no longer relevant, as better analogues have appeared. And the price is still the same.
there are no analogues for 85 and 135, because these are the only lenses for mirrorless cameras with a stabilizer (relevant for the first Sonek models).
