    I just didn’t understand one thing - why?) Better 17-30 / 35 or classic 24-70

    • wj

How is this why? 17-35 / 2.8 are expensive and heavy, and this tamron is more compact and light, it also reaches 40mm. Yes, and it will probably cost less than $ 1000.

    • Gandalf

An excellent replacement for 28-75, which lacks a wide angle, and sho 40, sho 75 - one fig portrait. That's how I'm going to change. Yes, and 200g lighter and less. Ideal as an all-rounder. And perfectly complement 50-400.

      • B. R. P.

It's not a fucking replacement. Too different focal lengths.

        • Gandalf

For portraits, both 40 and 75 will do.

      • Victor

Replacement is not a replacement, but as an addition to 50-400 fire, for general plans.

IMHO, 20-40 is an excellent ratio, it is already wide enough not to carry a separate width, weight and dimensions are not burdensome, the price, apparently, too.

  • wj

Very interesting model! Focal lenses would be great for street photography for me.

  • Dmitry Kostin

    Weight: 365 gram
    Thought it was a typo.
    And indeed 365 grams.
    My Tokina 20-35 / 2.8 weighs 585 grams
(for comparison, my past widths weighed:
    Nikon Nikkor 17-35 / 2.8D - 745 grams
    Sigma 15-30mm f3.5-4.5 EX Aspherical DG DF - 615g)
    Amazing.

  • Oleg

slightly trimmed 17-55 \ 2.8. The question is the price

    • B. R. P.

And what about the cropped 17-55?

      • Arkady Shapoval

In general, some kind of nonsense, cropped mirror and full-frame mirrorless :)

  • Oleg

Sorry not attentive, it's full frame. Very interesting solution compactness misled

  • Lubsan

I ordered this lens in Bright, but two and a half weeks have passed since the order. I already missed one shooting at a banquet where I planned to try out this lens. In general, I do not recommend the delivery of SDEK.
