The optical design is like that of the old-old 7 artisans 50 / 1.8.
Phillipreeve.net has a review of this lens. Everything is good, but the lighting is very bad. I saw something similar only in the G-44.
Yes, where everything is good. This fifty dollars is completely non-working at the edges of the full frame: even the ancient Canon 50 / 1.8 is still an FD version, the review of which is on the same site, works better at F / 8-F / 11 at the edges. And this is not surprising, because this tartizan, as I said above, is a full frame recalculation of the old, old cropped 7artisans 50 / 1.8 Sony E.
The bokeh of this 50/2 is terrible - it looks even worse than Industar-26m on a shift adapter in the corners of a medium format frame. A monstrous coma at the level of the Soviet Vega-3 (there is a review of it on Radozhiv), disgusting cropping of the bokeh disc at the edge of the frame (just like 7artisans 50 / 0.95 or my 7artisans 50 / 1.1).
The lens itself is trash, albeit cheap. But it's thrash. The very case when Helios suddenly turns out to be not worse, but better, and in all respects. The Chinese continue to overwhelm everyone with optics "blinded and that's it." So far, it feels like they have not made a single interesting product without jambs: they get either a boring planar, or a bad planar, or a lying planar. But they started off well - 7artisans 35 / 1.2 (I), 35 1.4 (I) FE, 50 / 1.1 (FE) are quite interesting and unusual, ttArtisans 50 / 1.4 LM made very successful and honest, but only one is needed like this, and not in a dozen incarnations of different levels of success and “honesty”.
Not the first, previously was 90 1.25
of course not, 90 1.25 originally for Lake M. And this one for Lake M is not available.
Is the same old story… Chinese lenses are crap..! I wonder why…¿Is so complicated today, with all the available technology, make a good lens? I´m afraid, that´s everything is too mucha related to politics..! Fuck you China..!
Politics has nothing to do with it, Just business) Can I ask you why China offended you so much?
