Not bad for an 8-fold, but will they master it.

  • wj

That would be the same, but designed for APS-C, with a correspondingly lower weight (like Olympus 75-300 on m4 / 3)! Well, yes, these are my personal wishes. So, according to the specifications, the lens is very interesting: here you have 50mm at the wide end (instead of the traditional 100mm for lenses of this type) and 1: 2 macro - no one has offered this yet.

  • Hairy mirror

Interesting option, stock up on popcorn)

if you read the photo reference books of the 60s, then telephoto lenses then had a magnification of 2,5 or much less often than 3 ... modern military zoom binoculars have a magnification of 2,5 - 2,7 - are all warriors a little stupid? :-)))... although civilian zoom binoculars have a magnification of 4 or even higher - but the picture at the long end is always disgusting... modern telephoto lenses often have a magnification of no more than 4, with a satisfactory picture at the long end, that's why the magnification of this lens is 8 - raises doubts about the quality of the picture at the long end

      Binoculars ff do not cover.

principles of construction and operation of optical devices: telescopes, binoculars, lenses are the same

          Can not be.

all cute blondes always intuitively guess a lot, but they can't believe the obvious :-)))

Spaz can see that you are a generalist.

The Sigma 60-600/4.5-6.3 DG S is the first 600x zoom lens with 600mm capability. Among the shortcomings, one can single out a noticeable drop in sharpness in the corners and edges of the image and a decrease in sharpness by XNUMX mm across the entire field of the frame.
            -
about the same thing as me :-)) - and by your link, by the way, it was found :-))

Imagine, there are also with 22x zoom, for example, Tamron 18-400 and people take pictures and don’t really complain :)

      • Anatoly

And here I am filming. An exceptionally comfortable lens for me. With enough acceptable characteristics for that. what I'm filming.

    • wj

Yes, now only photo reference books of the 60s can be read: D
Lenses have improved a lot since then, and modern 8x zooms can easily outdo many 60-year-old fixes.

  • Victor

And you think why binoculars, as a rule, have a magnification of up to 3x))

I give a hint: for example, look in the Nikon catalog for fixed binoculars with a minimum magnification (only not theatrical :)), and with a maximum. And then - compare the numbers)))

    • Alexander Rifeev

well, for example, NIKON has binoculars for spatulas - 50 mm magnification 10/22 :-))) or KAMAKURA has binoculars for warriors - 35 mm magnification 7/15 or even for warriors 50 mm magnification 15/50 :-)))
