Nikon Z5 is a cool camera, I had one, but if you choose on a budget, keep in mind that budget (read - old) non-motorized optics on the Nikon FTZ adapter lose the ability to focus, because. there is no screwdriver. This is an ambush.

Also, the vast majority of Tamron / Sigma optics also do not focus on FTZ, only fresh models work. So saving on optics will not work.

However, there are also Chinese from Viltrox.

Thank you for reminding me for the adapter) Kenon must be taken.

    • Novel

There, with the old sigma tamron adapter, it is nowhere indicated that focusing will not work. Just no support. At least my sigma 50 1,4 works great on z 5 through an adapter. Everyone says that there is no official support, but I have never seen anyone check it.

      • Sergei

        > with an adapter, the old sigma tamrons are nowhere indicated that focusing will not work.

But it won't work, I tried.

        > At least my sigma 50 1,4 works great on z 5 through an adapter.

And if you want to play roulette, then who will forbid you :-)

Sony a7r2 will do everything in the picture (sharpness and detail) and in iso, in autofocus + - like r and z6. Plus Sony is full of great third party optics without any adapters.. and the shutter is rated for 500k. But weak batteries.

camera "Zorkiy" with later modifications ... simple and indestructible like the T-34 :-))) ... especially since the cameras produced before 1953 were equipped with genuine German glass optics

    • Arkady Shapoval

average mileage 5d - under 200.000. How much money will 200.000 frames on film on ZORKIY cost?

      • Alexander Rifeev

I don’t know about “Zorkiy” - “Zorkiy” 1954 and “Start” 1963 left from my father are still in perfect working order ... but “Zenith” 1983 after about 4-5 thousand frames is already almost dead :-))))

        • B. R. P.

About Zenith in this regard, just do not talk. Especially the late Zeniths.

          • Alexander Rifeev

for example, "Zenith" ET 1989 - the shutter "died" somewhere on the 4th, 5th hundred frames :-)))

            • Human

and in refrigerators about the same, in the country there is Yuryuzan about 60-64 years of purchase, it still works. Yuryuzan, bought somewhere in the late 80s and early 90s, has already broken

        • Alexander Rifeev

or “Zorki”-2 1964 and found in an abandoned dacha in 2010-2011 ... the device was dirty like a railway station bum, the lens is gone ... surprisingly it turned out to be fully operational :-)))

          • Human

By the 80s, no one had any hopes for production, as well as for the Union. Even in the quality of manufacturing photographic equipment, this can be traced, and in the 50s there was a dawn of the state, which began to slowly fade away after Khrushchev.

        • after all

Are you unable to read? the question was about the cost of 200 frames on Zorkiy. Everything here already rests on the film + time for processing. Perhaps time will even cost more.

          • Victor

200000 frames for a “sharp” ~ equal to the price of a good one-room apartment in the regions))

Well, or take 150 ... 200 pieces of “patch” (which will have a better picture), shoot a couple, the rest in the cellar, save))

          • Dmitry Kostin

If we talk about the Russian Federation, then a color film now costs about 1500 rubles per video.
As an option - cinematic Kodak Vision3 for 800-1000 rubles per video.
Development - 500 rubles each video in the studio.
Those. issue price: 1500-2000 rubles / 1 roller with development.
200 thousand frames = 5556 rolls of film.
I doubt that at least one Soviet camera will master this resource. Most likely you will have to buy 2 or 3 more or more.
            200.000 x 1.500 or 200.000 x 2.000
Total: 300.000.000 - 400.000.000 rubles, excluding the cost of purchased cameras.

            • Victor

Yes, lagged behind prices. I counted a film for 500 rubles without developing, scanning / printing.

            • Victor

              >>200.000 x 1.500 or 200.000 x 2.000
              >>Total: 300.000.000 – 400.000.000

But I didn’t understand this moment, shouldn’t the final number be divided by 36?

But even / 36, it turns out to be a good odnushka within the Moscow Ring Road.

              • Dmitry Kostin

Yes, indeed, the mind has gone beyond the mind.
                5556 x 1500 or 5556 x 2000 = 8.334.000 or 11.112.000 rubles.
For 11 ml you can find a good odnushka within the Moscow Ring Road, if you drop a little, you can buy a small dvushka.

Pink dreams of lamp German glass)

    • Sergei

Do you even know that glass is a metastable material? That in 70 years it will simply change shape?

      • Rodion

        It won't change, it's a myth.

      • Human

This is called an amorphous material, in 100 years it will not leak anywhere. There are all sorts of vases and old cups in museums, they haven’t changed anything, especially optical glass with a bunch of impurities

      • Victor

The entire segment of the history of the development of photography takes orders of magnitude less time than it takes for the glass in the lens to change its shape at least noticeably.

      • B. R. P.

Yes, yes, Planars will become Ultrons.
