We did 18-135 and something went wrong??

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Why so.
      1. Where have you seen other lenses with constant F / 4 and such a spread in focal lengths? There is almost a sevenfold zoom with a constant 1:4. This is a good achievement for such optics.
      2. If you are talking about 120 mm, and not about 135, then let me remind you that 120 mm is also a common value, but it is more common for full-frame optics, for example, Nikon 24-120mm 1: 4G N AF-S Nikkor ED VR SWM IF Aspherical Nano Crystal Coat, Nikon 24-120mm 1: 3.5-5.6D AF Nikkor and Nikon 24-120mm 1: 3.5-5.6G ED AF-S Nikkor SWM VR IF Aspherical

I talked about the fact that Fuji had 18-135, which was distinguished by an extremely dumb ratio of price, weight and aperture ratio.

This, of course, is an interesting achievement of fuji engineers, but the lack of an opto-stub and the power zoom mechanism makes it very dumb. Although it’s cool for the studio, although why is the aperture in the studio ...

        • Arkady Shapoval

Fuji 18-135 is still with a different aperture and for other tasks.

I wonder which lens to choose, 18-120mm or 18-135mm? The one that is 18-135mm costs 2 times cheaper and, as some comments say, is a good “vacuum cleaner” if you quickly change the focal length. As I understand it, the 18-120mm lens has a constant length, regardless of the focal length.

I think if there is a required amount, then obviously this one.

  • Umberto

This lens has aperture jumps. I wonder in what range they are not? For example, at 15-45 between 26,4 and 45 mm there is no aperture jump.
