  • UstasFritZZZ

You need to buy such beauty for yourself too .. Just let the price drop a little

    • Sandro

and why is he like this, except for astrophoto?
      (and too narrow for astrophoto)

      • Arkady Shapoval

This is a lens, hence its main tasks are the same as for all similar lenses. For example, this is why IRIX 45 / 1.4, Tamron 45 / 1.8 or the same Sigma 40 / 1.4?

        • Sandro

I'm just wondering for what tasks this particular lens is better than others with its price, weight and non-autofocus.

          • Victor

For videographers for staged video in almost any lighting conditions with beautiful bokeh, for example.

  • Irina

I wonder why telephoto lenses are obstinately ignored by manufacturers.

    • Joe

Are they ignored? For mirrorless cameras on bhphotovideo, there are 319 different telephoto lenses available from different manufacturers right now, and 174 more for DSLRs.

    • Sergei

      Manufacturers in 2021:

      Canon: manufactures 400 / 2.8, 600/4, 100-400 / 5.6-8
      Nikon: releases 400 / 2.8, 100-400 / 4.5-5.6
      Sigma: releases 150-600 / 5-6.3
      Tamron: releases 150-500 / 5-6.7
Tokina: Launches the mirror lens 400/8

Irina from the comments: I wonder why manufacturers stubbornly ignore telephoto lenses.

      • Jea reth

You have already named telephoto telephones. What is an ordinary amateur to shoot massively at a range of 200-400mm? There are already isolated plots, and some shooting skill is needed. I think it was more about short telephoto lenses with a range of 75-90mm - they are suitable for a ton of pictures and require near-zero photographer skills.

        • Sergei

If you call it from 75mm, then my post will be three times longer :-)

  • B. R. P.

    I think Irina meant Chinese)

    • Irina

You are right :) Although I, too, perhaps, did not quite accurately express myself.

    • Joe

If we consider lenses with a focal length of more than 55 millimeters:
      Laowa: 60mm f / 2.8, 65mm f / 2.8, 85mm f / 5.6 and 100mm f / 2.8.
      7Artisans: 60mm f / 2.8, 75mm f / 1.25.
      TTartisan: 90mm f / 1.25.
      Yongnuo: 85mm f / 1.8, 100mm f / 2.0.
      Pergear: 60mm f / 2.8.W
      Meike: 85mm f / 1.8.
      Viltrox: 56mm f1.4, 85mm f / 1.8,
      Mitakon: 65mm f / 1.4, 85mm f / 1.2, 85mm f / 2, 85mm f / 2.8, 90mm f / 1.5, 135mm f / 2.5.
