    "Small complex"
By the way, no. The reason is also in physiology, but of a different sense.
Anyone else, but for me it is more convenient to have a camera with a full comfortable grip.
Fuji X100T was uncomfortable to hold, because it is very small for my hands. I had to farm and buy a thick leather case and something like a rig (from the Chinese).
The D750 was also small for my hands. For the D700, I specially bought a Chinese battery grip for convenience. Also for the Sigma SD-1 Merill, I also ordered a rare original battery grip through a dealer in Moscow (they took it for a month and a half for me - it was not on ebay at all).
The only crop that fits comfortably in my hands is the Fuji S3Pro.
Well that is to each his own.

    • Dmitry Kostin

I forgot to add - I also bought a handle for the D750 for a more comfortable grip.

The “small complex” was obviously related to the size of the matrix, at least in relation to that remark. This is exactly the complex, although it's okay, it is present among many amateurs.

      • Dmitry Kostin

"The 'small size complex' was obviously related to the size of the matrix"
        It is not a complex.
If there was a crop / 1.5 matrix in Olympus, then I would buy some kind of OM-D.

What personally doesn’t suit me in micros: how much I didn’t look at the pictures from them, I like the color profile on Olympus / Panasonic. What never suited me: minimal ISO200, 12-bit equal, lack of back-illuminated matrices, NARROW DD (graph in the attachment, point of no return iso800), some kind of flat picture, after ISO800 the picture starts to degrade and turn gray, becomes friable. In general, physics and nothing personal. According to their characteristics, the micros barely reach the old crops, and the ownership of the system itself (a normal camera with accessories such as batteries and a battery pen + a couple of three high-aperture high-quality lenses) is approximately equal to budget ff cameras.
Why buy the worst at the price of the best?
Well, I wrote about the grip above.

        • Dmitry Kostin

And yes, I repeat, but I am subscribed to flickr on people and who have micros.
In the last 2 years, some of them have been transferred to the budgetary bzk FF. Those. they immediately jumped to crop / 1.5.
And I also noticed such a moment: if earlier (5-8 years ago) you could see such replacements:
Nikon d7000-> d7100 / d7200 or Canon 60D-> 70D-> 80D also in microns, but now this is almost not visible - just a transition to a full frame (even a budget one).
Almost no one was interested in the Z50 (but the person seems to have sold it and switched to ff, because there were not many z50 pictures and had been gone for a long time, but before that he shot on d7500).

          • Dmitry Kostin

Only 50 out of 1 people have seen Z500.

            • UstasFritZZZ

Well, there is no sense in the Z50 now, lenses for Z crop have not been released and no one wants to fool around with adapters, it seems to me. My observations also show that almost no one buys DSLRs, except that completely beginners with a budget of $ 200-300 take an old mirror crop and 50 1.8 to it. Then they switch to Fuj or Sony's full frame due to the presence of a large park of glasses for this system

              • Dim

You might think that there were a lot of lenses under the DX and that nothing bothers anyone. It's just that the time has changed. What's the point of going somewhere there, if you can actually take a new camera under which Nikon riveted an overload of lenses? Unless if there is nowhere to go on Sunday ...

        • Michael

For size, weight. Micra with fixes weighs little and takes up almost no space. As a second camera, very even. I liked it, although it is not convenient to shoot

          • Dim

I have a Sony a5000 - a baby, you can lose it in your pocket. I bought it at discounts for a ridiculous amount, put the complete lens on the shelf, screwed the lens for video surveillance 50 / 1,4 through the thinnest adapter, I don't know much less. Picking is easy to target, the sensor is bigger than that, the resolution is too - and what's the point in this camera? Is it just for show-off.

            • Michael

To do without CCTV lenses and have normal focal lengths

              • Dim

It's good that at least someone in this crazy time can tell the difference between a normal focal length and an abnormal one. Respect!

  • Vlad

Whoever said and praised what there was, but buying a crop2 camera for $ 1000, which does not even have a viewfinder, is an ASS!

    • in

And this is not for a whale, but for a body

  • Oleg

Micra is eternal. At one time, I was lucky to buy a canon 80d for 600 euros, so this is a 1,6 crop

  • copenhagen72

Was it a little weak to make a camera for bloggers like the Sony ZV-1? And the micra would be more advantageous here due to a larger matrix (4/3 versus 1 inch) and interchangeable lenses (a wide prime for selfies, for the rest a zoom). And the stabilization from the GH5 could be screwed on. That would be a camera gun.
And so ... the place of all these half-cameras of a format smaller than APS-C was confidently gobbled up by smartphones.
