  • koba

His reviews appeared on the internet even a week ago, today I just wanted to buy it, but in China itself it is not yet for sale. Oddities from the manufacturer ...

  • Victor

It will be curious to see what he has with the open corners and from what value they come back to normal.

Added to the shot list, from their fifty kopeck 1.2 impressions are generally positive.

    • koba

Everything happens quickly here, I wrote off the post and after 4 minutes it appeared in the manufacturer's online store. I bought it already, I will unsubscribe in 2-3 days after testing it on my X-E2s. By the way, here it now costs 628 yuan or $ 97.

      • Victor

Excellent. I think everyone will be interested, the information on the network is still very scarce.

        • koba

102 people have already bought it, a few months ago I spoke with the manufacturer through my local friend, he is the head of the association of photographers of this city, we showed the engineers that it would be necessary to mark the lens at 3 meters, and also really calibrate the distance scale, of course they knew this very well ... Others know too, but look at 24mm sigma, a great lens designed only to work with autofocus, otherwise how do you understand the markup up to 1 place in a full frame? I also noticed that it would be desirable to have a hard stop. And today, the very first observer on the internet specifically drew attention to this - the lens has a markup of 1,2 and 3 meters. If a hard stop was made, it is not surprising that the sales will be excellent. The filter size is 40,5mm, surprising for this focal length. In a word, let's see ...

A review has appeared on sonyalphablog.

What can I say .. certainly not a diamond :-D
The center is pretty good already at f / 2, the edges only bounce back at f / 5.6-f / 8, and a bunch of HA's are as thick as a finger. Although I'm probably finding fault, samyang is certainly two heads higher, but also three times more expensive.

    • koba

Thank you for writing about this review. It can be seen that he has problems, especially in the open. I'll try it myself, because it's mostly boring for me at F5.6, if it doesn't justify it, I'll unsubscribe and return it back.

    • koba

Received. The lens is heavy for a mirrorless camera, but it is made of good quality. I took the first pictures, in the backlight too, I was surprised to find that I could not catch special CAs, most likely in normal conditions they rarely appear, the distortion is minimal, not particularly disturbing. The good news is that the lens is perfectly calibrated, 3 meters on the scale corresponds to approximately three meters, and, most importantly, there is a hard stop, I checked it and it works perfectly! I definitely keep the lens for myself.

      • Andrii

So where is the photo to understand about HA?

      • B. R. P.

        Interesting information, thanks for sharing.

      • Victor

Pretty quick, that's what it means to be in China.

Can you share some examples of pictures?

        • koba

I will shoot different scenes this week and upload RAW files to Yandex disk ...

          • Andrei

Yandex disk ... Are there no normal resources?

          • Victor

            Great, it fits.

            Thank you in advance.

Andrey, and what am I-the disc abnormal?

            • Rodion Eshmakov

              Blocked in Ukraine.

              • Andrei

So this is a problem in ukraine, not in my disk))

              • Novel

What surprises me more is that it is not blocked in China.

          • Anton

I ordered the lens myself yesterday, but now, while the package is in progress, I would like to take a look at the photos you promised) later I will probably post my examples myself

            • Victor

Yes, I think, rather we will wait for examples from you))

              • Andrei

Koba still enjoys hardstop - no time for photography and that's it. Wait.

        • Novel

Every day I go to this topic and wait for these pictures, for the sake of which the whole of China is put on ears and by the personal order of comrade Xi has no right to release lenses without a distance scale.

          • Victor

UW koba, people are waiting :-)

            • Anton

Comrades, sorry for such a late answer (with a delay of 1.5 months), but here are some photos for you in a combination of Fujifilm XT-2 + this lens
As far as I remember, all the photos were taken with an open aperture.
              https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1m0Xm_3WQ9wtpaZveWSCChnz1dUHRDbgR

Perhaps I will upload more later, as this is only the first set of photos "for sample"

              • Oleg

if you can click the landscape

              • Victor

Yes, the corners are interesting, preferably open and at least covered up to 2.8))

              • Oleg

Yes, but is it suitable for astrophotography?

  • Oleg

Koba is busy writing advertising posts for the PDA, by the way in Ukraine they decided to adopt the experience of the PDA, so the system works. https://ukranews.com/news/787067-opyt-kpk-v-upravlenii-gosudarstvom-dostoin-zaimstvovaniya-glava-politsoveta-pravyashhej-partii

    • Koba

Thank you for the link, I read it carefully, I did not know that a certain Arakhamia works in the ruling party of Ukraine. The Chinese experience, I think, he will not be able to adopt, since at first the type of social formation of the country should be defined in the constitution of Ukraine with all the ensuing consequences - legal and managerial.
I do not write advertising posts for the PDA, it does not need my advertising. Every person in the world uses the results of the CCP's work every day and with benefit. I just work in China, the work is normal, besides me, 6 foreigners work for us - from the USA, the Philippines and even from Belarus.
This lens was eventually sent as a gift to a friend in Georgia, because after comparing it with the original Fujifilm 16mm F1.4, he decided to save money. Unfortunately, 16mm not only has autofocus (it is difficult to get into focus with 1,4 hands, and for some reason focus-picking almost does not work with this lens, this is strange, since it works with my CCTV 25mm F1.4 just excellent, maybe the camera is the case, I only have X-E2s), but in optics it surpasses it by 2 heads. Personally, I really liked the original 16mm lens. Yes, it costs about $ 650, which is about 7 times more expensive, but ...

"Price is what you pay, value is what you get." ©

        • Koba

This is often true, but there are exceptions - for example, the Tamron 35 / 1.4 is literally superior to more expensive models from brands in everything at a significantly lower price. The promotion of superprofits by eminent brands has nothing to do with “Value”. For example, yesterday I compared the original Fujifilm 16 / 1,4 and 16 / 2.8. It seemed to me that the latter is definitely sharper, and its autofocus works noticeably faster. At first I couldn’t believe my eyes, then I watched several videos on the internet, yes, that’s exactly how it is. Of course, the F1.4 will sometimes be very useful, but the weight, slow autofocus, less sharpness and dimensions push me personally to buy a 16 / 2.8, which costs exactly two times cheaper, about $ 300. By the way, Fujifilm should be noted and praised for the fact that if they already started producing cropped cameras, they added lenses to them, of excellent quality and for all needs. And the so-called. “Leading manufacturers”, that is Canon, Nikon - add nothing but the cheapest plastic lenses to their cropped cameras. Isn't this a mockery of the consumer?
