Apps have already won

I am now witnessing an overwhelming dominance of beauty programs. They are mainly used by girls / girls / women. The result that the application data produces often creates a wow effect and in the overwhelming majority of cases completely satisfies the user.

I know many of my acquaintances who use selfie apps and then quickly process the original photo. Moreover, these are complex software solutions that, in addition to beautification, retouching, plastics, color correction, have many other interesting functions.

Some applications send the captured images to their cloud, where they are processed using the computational capabilities of a powerful server. Computations are often based on neural networks and other modern gizmos.

Selfies, quick masks, filters, retouching and beautification using simple and intuitive applications on modern smartphones completely removes the need to have a camera, photographer and retoucher.

The future has already come, programs have already won both common sense and common taste, and most importantly, digital compact cameras and the amateur segment of cameras with changing optics have been defeated.

Current processes pose many non-trivial questions to which there are no easy answers.

In our opinion, digital technologies make morons out of children, which can already be seen even with the naked eye! We try in every possible way to protect our grandchildren from this imperialist Shit, at least until their personality is formed and they begin to think with their own heads and understand that all this shit has been done in order to make mindless freaks out of children. The elder has already begun to understand this, and this makes us happy!

    • Arkady Shapoval

This is a very broad question. Children are only a small part of the users. As an example, women are very fond of such applications and, I suppose, most photos for conventional “Instagram” go through several filters and beautifiers. Many photographers cannot even imagine how important it is for a woman, especially aged one, to look beautiful. And it doesn't matter whether it is so or not, what matters is only what the viewer sees.

    • York

There is a persistent and very unpleasant feeling that someone managed to become someone before and without any digital technologies ...

      • Novel

Yeah. If you were so smart and everything was so luxurious, then why is everyone in such an ass now?

The problem is somewhat different. People have not become dumber - most are always moronic. Just before, the majority did not have the right to vote and did not express their opinion. Now any FB chicken can tell millions of blizzards about the harm of vaccines and flat earth - and they will listen to her.

There is no need for the genius Soviet generation and the best education in the world, I remember how millions sat under the TV and charged the jars.

        • Oleg

          Such a stone to democracy

          • Novel

Democracy requires demos. Or at least a plebos. Not okhlosa.

            • Novel

I absolutely agree with you !!!

            • Vladimir

              And a couple of slaves!

        • Maksim

And the communists were not thieves? The party elite did not live in khrushchas, did not go to the OT, occupied positions of bread, etc. When will you be transferred like that ...

        • Maksim

And what's wrong with the fact that a person can now express his own opinion, and not as once? Or are you a scoop?

    • Sergei

Before ASS, I am over 30 years old, and I began to notice behind me that I was picking up my phone unnecessarily and mindlessly watching FB, Instagram, YouTube in a circle. And all why? Because there is no choice! Everyone has been there for a long time, both friends and bosses and relatives and grandparents ... some in the vibeer, others in the FB, etc. This is the end of friends! The beginning of global idiocy and hysteria stuffed with advertising ...

      • Victor

There is always a choice. Even in our troubled time of global moronism.

      • UstasFritZZZ

I advise you to watch the film Idiocracy, there it was all predicted very clearly and accurately

      • Alexander

And I, on the contrary, have already scored all the crap of moronism on this, so that in retirement years I do not become the same moron as those who are there! There is a lot of useful information on the Internet that you can and should read and watch! And the rest is for morons!

    • Sergei

      I agree with Oleksandr.
Classics will always remain classics. Say what you like, but they constantly return to it, albeit at new stages in the development of photography, literature, painting.
Understanding of the classics and cool photos does not come at 15 or 20, but when a person has formed a stable worldview, moral foundations and even wisdom appears.
And populism is flowing water, now it is, in an hour it will be different, and in six months it may not exist at all.
The fact that social networks and the so-called artificial intelligence make young and not so young people, sorry, biomass, is understandable. Our country is a clear example of this.
But everyone has the right to choose and everyone is free to choose what he considers more relevant for himself. Neither Instagram, nor FB, nor VK will grow potatoes, wheat, apples, smelt metal, or extract oil or coal. And virtually until you feed and drink a person. And a good photographer will always remain that way.

    • Seladir

So you can not let your grandchildren out of the yurt at all, but what is the goal, to raise the downtrodden, maladapted creatures in the modern world? I sincerely think that it is better for children to hang out in tik-tok and instagram, creating undoubtedly primitive content for the most part, but at the same time expressing themselves and communicating with people from all over the world, than grandfathers will drum into them from under the stick that they should love and hate , drum into your consciousness, which stopped in development somewhere in the 70s.

      • Dim

The problem is that when children become adolescents, ready to choose their own path, then all standing roads will be closed for them due to the lack of basic knowledge. At the same time, you will not be able to catch up quickly, quickly, but you will only be able to go to collect food in the cesspools. So, until the age of majority, the care of what and how the children are doing lies entirely with the parents and there is no need to shift it over with their cleverness about “yurts”. What you sow is what you reap, if you don’t care about the future of your children, you don’t need to repaint your laziness and incompetence with supposedly “democratic” colors. It is your responsibility and nobody else's.

        • Alexey_S

          Dim, golden words!

Seladir, let me tell you the fact that Jobs tried to restrict iPad access to his children. Maybe he's stuck in the 70s too :)

          • Novel

The genius in business did not prevent him from being in general a rather unpleasant type with a bunch of complexes from childhood and all sorts of oddities. And he died of operable cancer, self-medicating to the last. Not a good example of an adequate parent.

            • Dim

All people are different, but if a large number of people around them consider someone normal and adequate, then something is clearly not right with him. It is simply incredible to satisfy and please literally everyone. Children inherit the genetics and skills of their parents, as with all living organisms. For me, just a manifestation of personality, within the framework of the law, of course, this is the most natural option.

    • Maksim

Dibilov is not made of children by technology, but by parents, who do not want to deal with them.

      • Vladimir

        Shaking hands!

  • York

Yes, in general, everything is fine.

Photography is simply divided into many levels and specializations.

Those of them that require investments in competence and technology will remain the lot of the shy ones - amateurs, professionals, it is not so important.
Those that imply a minimum result with minimum investment go to software for external processing.

Plus, there will be special technical problems, also solved only by specialized equipment.

Actually, all this happened before and now many other types of activities are underway - from cooking to literature through, for example, horse breeding and painting.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Yes that's right

      • York

I would say that this is a general principle of development - the accumulation of experience, technology, anything inevitably leads to specialization within the very area of development.

And the emergence of IT in general can be compared with the emergence of a wheel, so much have they influenced, influence and will influence life ...

  • Andrei

The scoop ate over the Olivier.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      what?

      • Andrei

I say that New Year's Olivier is coming out of the fighter against capitalism, who misses the USSR.

        • Arkady Shapoval

          from whom?

          • Andrei

The one who protects his grandchildren from imperialist shit (for some reason, with a capital letter). I can imagine what kind of personalities there are formed on the example of such a grandfather.

            • Arkady Shapoval

              And who is doing this?
In general, you have a lot of offtopic, and switching to personalities in discussions, for example, in the previous post about the results of 2020, I had to delete some of your posts, but for now I will add you to the black list.

  • Novel

The more beautifiers, the more popular meetings in real life will be. Although soon everyone will put on virtual reality glasses and score on their appearance. Neural grids in real time will finish everyone.

And I am generally satisfied with the current situation. Before, everyone who had a camera was a photographer. I bought a camera-photographer! I even had acquaintances who bought a DSLR for themselves before going abroad. And not to shoot, but to look cool - a tourist with an expensive camera around his neck! Wow!)))
Everything fell into place. Cameras for photographers, smartphones for selfilikers)). Everything is clear and understandable

    • Eek! The cat

Now I have installed the application - the photographer.

    • Pokemon

“I even had acquaintances who bought themselves a DSLR before going abroad.”
They were all ... so familiar.
This is normal from the point of view of a consumer society.
Not a lot of money - I bought a soap dish in a lohomarket like Eldorado / MVideo.
Began to earn a bit more or his wife needs a “beautiful photo with blur” take a DSLR.
As an option, they took a DSLR before vacation so as not to feel flawed in front of friends / acquaintances.
Now everything is simpler - I bought 108MP Xiaomi or Samsung or iPhone, instructed dubious software and we can say to everyone that phones take pictures no worse than FF, tk. on the phone screen, pictures from the phone look good, there is no computer at home (because it is difficult and it will collect dust anyway) and it is good if there is a shaggy 15 ″ laptop with a TN matrix and a resolution of 1366x768 (THIS is still being done in 2021).
      Something like this…
Therefore, on Avito one can see the remnants of fat times in the form of mountains of whale kits Nikon D5100, D7000; Canon 600D, 60D, 650D; Sony a57, etc.

An hour ago I was looking for where Kodak Portra 800 (or something similar) remained in Moscow for shooting NG holidays at dusk in Moscow.

It looks like a classic case: the mass character always wins with acceptable quality. And in any area.
    My predictions:
    - Photography as such will gradually change, especially in the non-commercial segment; the pictures will be more and more digitally processed, in connection with which there will be a fashion periodically for one thing or another - I don’t know, replacing the skin with snakeskin or some other toys. In general, photography will become more and more an entertainment genre.
To some extent, this will also affect commercial photography - an ordinary shot will seem insipid, so all sorts of enhancers will also be used there ... 3D? But not to the extent that their use could give rise to a lawsuit.
    - Accordingly, photographic equipment will be divided into professional (expensive) and entertainment (affordable and “disposable”).
    - I think that many photographic professions will die - a wedding worker, for example, or a photo reporter. Instead, the demand for photo toy developers will grow. Classic photography will become a niche, elite genre. Perhaps some half-forgotten technologies will be appreciated - daguerreotype or contact printing from records :)
    Happy New Year to all!

    • tryamer

Wedding men will not disappear. They will be depreciated, stratified more strongly into cool fashionable ones, and just mercenaries with a camera. But there will always be a demand for a person who will fix the wedding. Some of the guests will not do this. His guest duties will be distracting.
And the reporters won't disappear. There will always be a need for people who will step out of their comfort zone and climb into the crowd, risking breaking the camera, or go to a hot spot. And the ability to capture the “decisive moment” is not given to everyone. And it's easier to negotiate with the pros about the rights to photography.
And digital cameras will stop developing when it is no longer profitable to invest in new technologies. And then they will roll back a little to reduce the cost of production.

      • Pokemon

In general, rallies are adrenaline. They must be walked with strong technique and generally have a strong physique. The guys who work there (including from the State Media) run around with Units or D4-5. Lovers come in with everything God has given. Girls reporters or freelancers run around with third or fourth Pyataks.
I remember one was worried when I touched her with my elbow 5DMk4 and 24-70 / 2.8L.
Well, this is not a woman's business, especially when the “cosmonauts” begin to iron the crowd.
I would give dearly for a PRESS cape - it will save you from blows with a truncheon.
By the way, Nikkor 35-105 / 3.5-4.5D casually took the blow with a truncheon. Knowing that there Lut and hardcore did not take anything more expensive. So the lens survived and functioned normally afterwards and even managed to sell it. Because the hood is made of metal and it itself is metal + glass and no motor.

      • Trueash

        >> There will always be people who get out of their comfort zone and climb into the crowd, risking breaking the camera, or going to a hot spot - Wouldn't it be easier to send a drone there? Who doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep, and don't need to pay royalties, travel expenses, insurance, etc.?
Information, too, has long become a commodity of mass consumption, and “not to sleep for three days, walking for three days for a few lines in the newspaper” - no one will appreciate this. Especially media owners. This is an unnecessary risk for them.

        • Pokemon

“Nobody will appreciate it. Especially media owners. This is an unnecessary risk for them. "
During rallies, communication often does not work (sometimes it is simply unsafe to turn on a mobile phone, since the location will be tracked).
The drones did fly during the rallies, as did the helicopters.
It's clear whose helicopters, but I saw a maximum of 1-2 drones.
They are still filming the old fashioned way. Why? Because from the air there is a different angle.

          • Alexey Prokopchuk

If you want to dissolve a political srach, then for this there are a lot of resources on your Internet at other addresses.
In Arkady Shapoval it is interesting to read about photography and what is associated with it.

          • Pokemon

Alexey, read about photography and related to it - I am not bothering you and I did not conduct any conversations with you.
I have no desire to arrange political srachs - everyone should live according to conscience.
In general, the conversation was not about politics, but about reporting and why it cannot always be filmed from a drone.

        • tryamer

Someone also has to launch the drone, receive it, charge the battery, and so on. He himself will not fly, from conditional New York to conditional Kinshasa. Well, the "decisive moment" remains.
And still frames cut from the video broadcast will not replace the pictures with the camera. And I don't know how close smartphones are to at least 1/4000 shutter speed, with good quality.

          • tryamer

While I was writing, the best examples of the importance of reporters were thrown, and even visual ones)

        • Maksim

The drone can also be "planted" by modern means.

      • Victor

I note, regardless of the topic of the moment - such a picture is one of the reasons why I still do not have a mirrorless fujifilm (obviously, this does not apply to s3-s5pro, everything is ok there)

        • Pokemon

Victor, what exactly do you dislike?
The bristles and rotten teeth are visible. White remained white.
          Colour?
That day I had the Classic Chrome preset (with the color slider turned to the right). I agree, Provia or Astia would have given a different skin tone. But not much - it was hot, very stuffy and everyone had the same skin tone +/-.
It was possible to quickly change the color preset, but I did not. would have missed the shot.
Many people criticize Fujik for the sharpness on the X-Trans matrix. Well, you don't need to use kit lenses and dark lenses and everything will be ok.

          • Pokemon

If I knew that day that Zhirik would be near, I would put Provia :-)

          • Victor

I'm talking about color, of course.

            • Pokemon

Here's my miscalculation - Classic Chrome is more suitable for shooting architecture or landscape. In it, the shades of red and blue do not look like in Provia.
He stood with me because he took pictures of the streets and went out to the rally. On Provia, the skin is more natural.

      • Novel

Looks like the Greatest. Along the way, it has a real-time botox butifier.

  • Victor

An absolutely normal process. For most people in the world, what even a mobile phone provided a few years ago is enough, and with the spread of in100gram and other Facebooks, the work of automatic beautifiers is becoming quite acceptable.

Suffice it to recall that just 20-30 years ago, most of them ran around with remnants of film about plastic lenses, which give quality orders of magnitude worse than what today provides many times more convenient mobile photography, and photographers who were confused with high-quality medium format were a paltry fraction of a percent ...

The future has already arrived, photography in the usual sense of the word (with the exception of the top segment) will gradually fade away.

    • Nicholas

I agree that this is a natural process
But the only thing that is a pity is that because of this process it will no longer be possible to buy cheaply on the secondary housing a used camera in excellent condition, which was on the newcomer's shelf as unnecessary, as it was before :)

      • Pokemon

It can still be done now.

        • Victor

And in 10 years it will be easy.

    • BB

Yes, many were satisfied with the quality of these very film "soap boxes", and printed photos from them. In the same way, a few years ago, they brought me photos from mobile phones and digital cameras for printing, I would personally delete many of those photos right away, but people are fine.
And the quality of smartphones' cameras has significantly increased somewhere 2-3 years ago, and as they say, "people hawala." But now I am much less often asked with the question “what kind of DSLR to buy”, because most of those who asked did not really need a DSLR.
Personally, it makes me happy: there was a natural division into ordinary and "advanced".

  • Victor

Everyone demands something from everyone. Constantly you need to comply with some standards sucked from the finger. It feels like people have simply forgotten how to live high. Apparently, the market for such garbage, substituting for reality, will only grow.

Happy New Year, dear colleagues. The program "Die or Die" is on the air.

  • Oleg

Simplification. Once upon a time cinema supplanted theater and literature, but is it true that someone thinks their life without cinema today? Photography has supplanted painting in its time, and no one stands in line to a poor artist for a picture. Smartphones are crowding out amateur DSLRs, and such programs are crowding out photoshop and amateur retouchers, but life will still go on and whether the next generation will be more stupid than the previous one. Therefore, all this takes place

  • Shrimp

One can only rejoice for such a rapid development of technologies, but the worry is that the result of the work of all such applications is, as a rule, a very soapy flat plastic face, and such "retouching" is gradually becoming almost a standard. Already there are comrades who see themselves only on the screen of a wide-angle selfie camera and from portraits at 85 mm jarring them wildly - there both the face is thicker and the freckles are visible, here is a mole, and then there are generally mimic wrinkles, horror! : D Something similar to the effect of a mirror, when we like ourselves in the mirror, but not in the photo, because we see ourselves mirrored all our lives.

    • Oleg

Quite right at 85mm and the face is thicker, and the wrinkles are visible to my friend after the instagram did not like it. These are the realities, alas.

      • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, cinema at the same time also ruined the viewer.

        • Oleg

Hollywood is on its way, but Netflix is still moving.

    • Michael

      Rather myopic)

    • varezhkin

+1. I also came across more than once how it jars some people from the proportions of their faces in portrait focal lengths after n-years of shooting on SHU. I don't want such a future ... Nikon, by the way, on the last cameras began to use aggressive noise reduction with a “beautifying” mobile soap effect. Apparently, thanks to smartphones for this.

  • Igor

All the husks will fall off. The present will remain.

  • Oleg

Well, for some, these "beautifiers" are good, but for some, a mare is a bride. There will always be such people, knowingly Letov said that “our people love all kinds of shit”.

  • Novel

About the classics ... that's why photography on film was appreciated. It was there that the phrase “to catch the moment” meant just to catch !!! For this, the photographer was appreciated - to catch, see, and from one time (well, even from several frames).
The figure is already some kind of deception in post-processing, Photoshop, Capture One, etc. The same desire to improve. It's just that now all this has been shoved into a smartphone. Fast and the brain does not need to be turned on. The same thing with post-processing, no one thinks about the Fourier transform)))
    IMHO.

    • Arkady Shapoval

History repeats itself. Even in the days of photographic plates it was very, very fashionable to retouch a photo, it was a whole business and everyone just squeaked from photography with the then “retouch”. They did it just by other means. And photography is very different. It is not valuable in single “moments”.

      • Novel

Here I agree. The grandmother in photography worked as a retoucher for photographic plates)))

      • koba

add to it the fact that in fact all photographers resorted to various kinds of staging, often very skillfully, even the photographs that were considered almost cult for years turned out to be simple staging. It all came down to the fact that there was a film and on it we see how the photographer caught the moment, but we could not see how the photographers themselves created these very moments. If you look closely, a good half of very famous old photographs were taken in this way, otherwise, at a time when the sensitivity of films was 25 units, and to get a more or less sharp frame, photographers covered the aperture to 11, how did they get sharp frames in all eyes? Now no one will know, because, as we all know, one very famous photographer, when he became legendary, and people around him began to pay attention to photographers, he stopped shooting altogether, from the word at all. So, photographers have always been engaged in manipulating frames to bring them, first of all, to commercial suitability (for profit, people went to other ways!). It's just that now opportunities have appeared such that they had never dreamed of before ...

    • Maksim

Lord. Close the screen. Install a 512 Megabyte USB stick. And see the results of your work in a few days. How amusing these "Film Witnesses" are.

once invented the spinning machine to get rid of routine manual labor and produce more goods in less time. This principle applies everywhere. Routine operations will be offered to be replaced with automatic ones, by the way, nobody canceled interfering in the processes, and labor costs can be reduced significantly. What's bad about it? Once upon a time, the film was also manually rewound, but then machines with a motor appeared, was that bad? And if someone is not interested in photography at all and just wants to get sufficient results for themselves easily and without special education, why should we condemn it? Here is Luminar AI - personally I am delighted with it, over the past few days I have freed up a lot of time to process thousands of files, and the results are the same as I would have done without it ...

  • Dim

The advantage of such programs is not even simplicity, but in anonymity and data collection. A simple photographer cannot track processing trends and client preferences as much as an application like this. Plus, it is supposedly anonymous, the client is not obscured, makes a choice in the most suitable state and environment for himself. It costs a lot, although it seems inconsequential.

  • Alexey Prokopchuk

Arkady, but you have raised a topic that many people (photographers) already feel on their own skin.
MODERN TECHNOLOGIES, their mother is so ...
    Greetings from Samara!

    • Arkady Shapoval

Subject here on site for a long time, it's just that many people still cannot understand that the train has left.

  • Sergei

I want to note that along with mobile software, normal software is also developing decently. Well, those who clink their phone without thinking about the result, and then twist something (again without thinking too much) in mobile programs to get a beautiful picture ... So that's enough for them, and this software is made for them.

  • Oleg

Progress generates new technologies, fashion generates new approaches. You can use the scythe well, but the combine operator is valued higher today, and tomorrow the virtual operator will be in demand. But if then, bam, cataclysm, manual labor will again become in demand, but who knows when it will happen and whether it will happen.

    • Alexey

After Big Pi happens (and it will happen differently earlier than many think, because all the signs are present) - the caste of ENGINEERS will again be in demand, because the plebs cannot do anything by themselves, with their own hands.

    typo "cameras with lens exchange"

  • Sergei

The question is certainly interesting. There is something to think about.

  • Michael

Well, if we are talking about how to improve the photos in the style of “sponge duck with a little bit of beauties” - then for God's sake. All these megatons of Instagram trash are like a muddy stream of a sewer that burst into the street. It flows and stinks. But sooner or later (I would like it to be early still) a brigade will arrive and put things in order. All this digital shit will float away. And a normal, professional photo from the masters will still remain. With a well-thought-out composition, with the play of light and shade, with the right background ... The main thing is not to succumb to this digital hysteria, to do your job the way you see it. So that no beautifier is needed in the photo of a bee on a flower, a sleeping child or the eyes of your beloved dog ...

You are probably looking at the master.

Beautifiers and auto-retouching are just the proverbial “masterpiece” button that has been talked about and joked about for years.

It's just that for some reason it turned out to be separate from the camera :)

And why is simplifying the filming process bad?
Why is auto-retouching worse than eye autofocus? I would not mind if such AF appeared on my cameras with a firmware update. And I would not even be tormented by my conscience that I had betrayed the ideas of the bati-manualist. To each his own

Please, dear commenters, behave more politely with each other. My blacklist is not rubber.

UPDATE: The reportage photos from the drone were wonderful. But still, these photos are very much related to politics, which is prohibited on Radozhivka :) Peace Labor may.

Arkady the pictures were not from a drone, but from Fuja X100T and Nikon D4 ... you can't take off a drone like that.
It is a pity that you deleted them :(
There was an interesting discussion in which there was little of politics.
If Comrade Prokopchuk had not squealed, then no one would have paid attention to the political context (which, in fact, was not there - there are simply people who are comfortable living in the ostrich position and if their tender and vulnerable eyes are shown something that goes beyond what they see on a cozy TV, they start screeching like a pig).

When the digital SLR boom started, I was very surprised that they were bought by people who did not understand anything about photography. And, disappointed, they bought a soap dish, in which the JPEG was tuned to bright pictures, and were happy. Now the smartphone is more than enough for family photos, and that's good. If someone wants to be utified - yes to health, but maybe he is a good poet or makes a wonderful pizza :). And a DSLR / mirrorless camera with a bunch of lenses and other gadgets, long post-processing in Photoshop is just for an amateur, a person who enjoys both the result and the process. Well, a large format - if you want a photo wallpaper of your own authorship - if you please master a serious technique. Marketers have very successfully sold millions of DSLRs to people who don't need them at all.

    • Andrei

      And there is.
Except for a couple but. 1. The job of marketers is like this. 2. No one forcibly forces anyone to buy unnecessary things.

      • Alexander

And I'm not a reproach to marketers. Thanks to them, I was able to afford a good device :)

“Marketers have been very successful in selling millions of DSLRs to people who don't need them at all.”
Well, marketers did not do it with a pistol to their temples.
And then, well, I really want to bring bright photos from my vacation. What can they be made for?
Mobile phones have long been about nothing in terms of camera quality.
Many digital point-to-point cameras were inferior to film ones (as even the Olympus Mju II used 35mm film).
There was only one possible option - first, film consumer SLRs in a plastic case, and then digital-mirror cameras with crop matrices.
Now they have been partially replaced by smartphones. The funny thing is that people often go on vacation with phones that cost significantly more in $$$ than the cameras they took with them in the 90s or XNUMXs.

      • Victor

        "The funny thing is ..."
And for me so nothing funny. If you estimate the cost of a gear that allows you to make calls, go online, play games, use navigation, view and listen to multimedia, and, finally, take a photo-video in the XNUMXs, the amount will be much more even than the cost of a top smartphone today)))

        • Pokemon

Dialer - Nokia or Sonerik up to $ 100
Getting online was very expensive and slow. It was possible to buy an expensive Nokia on Symbian for $ 500-600 in the second half of the XNUMXs with a camera decent for a mobile phone at that time and the ability to access the Internet, but this was not necessary for everyone, given the cost of traffic. Games - adults don't need it. A snake or a sapper in their phones was enough for most, and for those who did not, there were n-gage or psp for teenagers. Navigation in the XNUMXs? I don't remember anything. Music and videos were watched in Nokia or Soneriki. I repeat, most of them had enough dialers (we went on vacation with her, because roaming) and a plastic SLR.

          • Victor

Well, I write as if not about one device (of course, where is it all in one at the beginning of the 7s), but about several. And today smartphones provide all this, but in general, it is even more convenient and of better quality)) Not to mention the fact that there are a lot of budget devices with very good characteristics - the same series of redmi note 8, XNUMX, and so on.

Do you understand? Or is your self-esteem so high?
