26 August 2020 was announced several pieces of photographic equipment from Pentax in a silver frame.
Pentax K-1 Mark II Silver
The following models were produced with a silver body color:
- Pentax K-1 Mark II

- HD PENTAX-D FA * 1: 1.4 85mm ED SDM AW
- HD PENTAX-D FA * 1: 2.8 70-200 ED DC AW
The release will be limited, 1000 camera units and 600 units of each of the lenses... The lenses and camera will have unique serial numbers and come in exclusive boxes.

Pouring old wine into new wineskins, nothing more. Old problems remain. Autofocus in the first place (10 years behind the leaders) and video (although some do not need it). In K-1, the matrix as in the A7R, D800, D810 is not bad, but with a low shooting speed. The phase-detection AF points are clustered at the center. As for the optics: the originality is a thing of the past, compare the new HD DFA 85 / 1.4 and the Sigma 85 / 1.4 Art, which is just not under the Pentax. The famous Jun Hirakawa left the company. About the raspberry light on the matrices of the K-70, KP crops on the forums has long been filled with soreness. Next in line for Olik?
