In addition, the already excellent sensor (kill me, but strangely everything coincides with the old and excellent sensor, which is in Nikon D3s), they added a backlight and today I already looked at pictures on dprevew, up to ISO 3200, in fact, the picture does not lose anything, it looks like ISO 400, with high dd and contrast, not degraded structure and brought to flat feet with noise reduction and curves, in order to increase dd. But the price of the camera was set as a good video camera - 3500 dollars.

          of course, this is a new sensor, but my opinion is that this is still the same redesigned sensor, such technologies are not thrown away, and there is no need to create from scratch, so they are finalizing it, especially since this is enough for photographers, moreover, with such excellent noise performance, and even better in video. Let's remember together that the T62 tank has the same engine that was once in the T34 tank, only now it has been greatly improved. For example, a kenon, we created the best we could, put it in the top Dx then, transferred it to 6D without a filter and it still shows the best picture of all kenon, then the same sensor, maybe a little modified, was put in DX2, and now we put it in the newest DX3 and in the mirrorless R6, and will continue to use it for a long time, since above 12-20 megapixels, it is honestly not possible to get really low noise at high ones. Yes, manufacturers will relabel the old, slightly change, add backlighting, but the sensor remains the same, for lack of a better one, besides, the real situation and real manufacturers are almost always hidden even from very inquisitive by many marketing moves. In a word, let them do whatever they want, but the 12MP sensor with top-end characteristics is alive and even got a version with BSI, and that's just fine, it's a pity that no one will use it in DSLRs, and even in mirrorless cameras, since buyers need a lot and a lot megapixels.

        About 16-bit color from the matrix, I know that another matrix from sony has this property, but only in APS-C 26MP format. The one in fujifilm xt-3 / xt-4 cameras. This matrix is ​​even trickier. According to the datasheet, this 26MP matrix gives out 16 bits and Toptygin speaks about this when reviewing fujifilm xt-4, but in the documentation for fujifilm xt-4 there is not a word about 16 bit color.

    Another twist from sony, this company has always thrown a lot of experiments on the market that they tested at the expense of the buyer. 12mpixels today (for any photographer) it is clear that there is only enough for portraits, that is, studio shooting or in daylight, in any case you don't need a lot of ISO parrots, it turns out that the camera is purely for a narrow focus - shooting with non-standard light in the evening / at night - we get consumers among photographers of events in nightclubs, concerts, etc., I can't say that there are few of them, for this and the calculation of greedy manufacturers such as sony, all these photographers will buy this camera, and will begin to replicate better quality pictures than with the same Z7 under the above described shooting conditions, and other photographers will also start buying as a second / third camera just in the rare case of night shooting, even wedding photographers will buy a third camera, so sony will get rich, out of the blue without creating anything new.
