  • Pavel Gorbunov

    Thank you!

  • koba

Here's how to correctly put the distance scale! Nikon is no longer capable of what we see! Others too! The hyperfocal for such a lens at aperture of 5,6 comes already at 0,5m, and everything from 24cm to infinity is already in focus. But for reliability and protection against inaccuracies or errors, also apply 0,7 m, and everything from 29 cm will be in focus. Well, on the diaphragm 8,0 and say no. In a word, it will be a great purchase for those who really need it.

  • Ivan + Shikhalev

Cool, but very specific. Realtors will be delighted :)

    • Roman

They both shot on phones and will shoot. Or they can lay out a plan instead of an apartment. Or a view of the entrance of the house.

  • Sergei

There is no information about the angle of the field of view.
    One can only guess.
Will there be a mount for thin filters in the back?

    • Roman

135 degrees. Samyang has 10 / 3.5 130 degrees. There will be no filters, nowhere, it is mirrorless only because you can get close to the matrix.

      • Sergei

And in a press release, a special magnetic holder for filters is mentioned.
        And, apparently, in the tail.

Venus Optics has also worked with partners to design a special 100mm magnetic filter holder for the lens that will retail for $ 149.

Front as on EF11-24 or TS-E17

          • Sergei

            Fuck ...
It would be better at the back.

            • Arkady Shapoval

              Better than nothing

            • Roman

This is such a specific lens that whoever really needs it and who can use it correctly will somehow manage the filters. So far, I only see architectural uses, with the right angles, these insanely stretched corners look pretty good. But for nature, landscapes, diagonal fisheye is just more suitable - on natural objects without straight lines, distortion and compressed edges look much more organically stretched edges and disfigured clouds.

  • Sandro

And if I write a review on this lens, will someone be interested?
I bought it in February and I use it actively ...

    • Rodion

Of course it's interesting, ask more)))

      • Sandro

It will be in a week or two. It turned out that 90% of my examples of this lens were shot with an infrared camera.
Tell me, in what form is it better to prepare reviews here? Google doc and send Arcadia for review?

        • Rodion

Even if it's on an IR camera, it's even more interesting. It would be cool to see a review on it too.
I send reviews to Arkady as an archive on google drive. In the archive:
          - A .docx file with the formatted text of the article with inserted pictures and captions to them, I don’t format hyperlinks (I don’t know if they are picked up when copying to the site’s article editor from Word or not);
          - the main photo of the article;
          - other photos.

    • Victor

+1. You also actively use it, probably the photos will be various.

    • B. R. P.

Write interesting - it will be interesting)

  • Dima

Something neither a review of the promised, nor pictures at least) Nothing)

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Promised?

      • Viktre

        Yes, Sandro promised above)

      • Dima

Strange question right?) Especially if you read your own blog above)

        • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, a strange question, especially if you believe everything that is written in the comments :)

          • Oleg

Koba also promised something, I don’t remember what

            • Viktre

The promised three years are waiting ©

              So there is still time.
