It’s curious how autofocus works with such a narrow hole)
As it turned out, with the new camera - great:

I'm interested in something else. Weight under 1 kilogram, paws are not even optional. The tube extends at the rear, i.e. this is clearly not a place to grip. With such a lever, the bayonet mount will not vomit if you accidentally leave such a fool in an advanced state on weight ??
As practice has shown, it will not break, and even less than a kilogram.
Even the Zonnar 4/300 2,5 kg did not break the Sony A7s bayonet mount - so much so)
Where the tales came from about the torn button is interesting :)
Even the 550d feels good from 50-500 if you just hold the camera for yourself, let alone the more advanced magnesium alloy cameras :)
On Google’s request “torn mount on the camera” there are several pictures with a torn mount, but apparently the phenomenon is not massive :)
In fact, the lens actually has a tripod foot, though it is so small that it should be called a heel in no time :) Well, it does not move. She is barely visible at the photographer’s hand in this photo: https://photorumors.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Canon-RF-600mm-f11-IS-STM-lens.jpeg
it is rather a tripod socket
This is not a foot, but just a socket for mounting a tripod platform. On the ZM-6a, for example, there are two of them - 1/4 ″ and 3/8 ″.
