Lens body made with high quality. The piston ring is rubberized with hard material. When changing the focal length, the rear lens of the lens moves. When changing the focal length, the lens length changes.
One ring is responsible for focusing and changing the focal length. To change the focal length, pull or push the piston ring, to focus - rotate it.
The focus ring rotates approximately 135 degrees by 200 mm of focal length and 90 degrees by 28 mm of focal length. Focusing is smooth and comfortable. The minimum focusing distance depends on the selected focal length. If you set the MDF equal to 200 meters at 1.8 mm of the focal length and decrease the focal length, the focus ring will automatically rotate towards increasing the focus distance.
During focusing, the front lens rotates and extends forward together with the filter frame. On the body there is a focus distance scale and a mark for working in the infrared spectrum, as well as a depth of field scale.
