Examples of photos on off. website: https://www.ricoh-imaging.ru/ru/product/22890/body/overview/lenses.html

  • Rodion

    Pentax: give dz write off!
Zeiss Otus: ok, hold it, but don't write it off exactly, so that you don't burn ...
    ...

    • Michael

It seems yes =) On the other hand, if the quality is the same, then getting a Zeiss autofocus at half price is not so bad)

      • Arkady Shapoval

Without T * and $ 5000, it will not be Zeiss

    • Andrei

Hahaha, pleased with the comments of his xD Topchik

  • Koba

Great, but what is this price?

    • Arkady Shapoval

      In dollars :)

      • Koba

Now ... $ 1900? Is that what they ordered on an OEM basis from Zeiss? Or do we have something amazing?

        • Arkady Shapoval

We have a stellar lens of our own design! It should warm the soul

          • Koba

Actually, I have one Pentax camera and would take another one too, but the full-frame K1 camera is still expensive, and there is no need for me to take it, I sit on Nikon and am completely satisfied, although that camera is just excellent ... To buy this lens (I am also sure that it will be excellent), you have to be a portraitist and shoot on the Pentax system, that is, in fact on the K1, there is no other option, or through adapters to full-frame mirrorless cameras, but there are many excellent portrait cameras for a lower price. I mean, I don't understand the Pentax marketers, like the camera was released for landscapes, the zooms were also adapted from Tamron (they are all wonderful), but the 24mm or 20mm fix is not released, and instead they produce a super-duper portrait lens for a very expensive price.

            • Arkady Shapoval

I recently saw K1 II PR, telling me that K1 II is much better than regular K1. But because as many as 2 cameras! Now manufacturers are leaving for TOP technology, as the lower and middle segments ate phones.
But for the system, it would be better for them to release a couple of crop fixes. Inexpensive and functional. For example, 24 mm light. All their Limas are DA with F / 2.4, 2.8, 3.2 and even F / 4. There is only one light fix - 50 / 1.8. But the lack of light, comfortable, optimized crop fixtures is a problem with almost all crop systems.

As an owner of Sigma 85 art, I am tormented by vague doubts

  • Eugene

    Expensive, very expensive

    • Roman

Well, such a fool. Canon's new 1.2 is about the same size costs 2700.

But to be honest, I looked towards 1.4 for a long time, nevertheless took 1.8 and even with it it is quite difficult to shoot a good portrait in the open, especially a close-up one. And when you hide behind - to the point of a kilogram of glass, and run with it.

    • Roman

https://www.ricoh-imaging.ru/media/fda75325dc4877938ff7d181f9522778/IMGP0101.jpg - so they shot a portrait in the open. This is to show how sharp he is. I do not argue, for a test photo, you can be overjoyed. But this is substandard, you can't sell it to the customer. Neither in wedding, nor in fashion, especially, they will close until 5.6 - 8. They are tilt-shift played with perspective so as not to tighten up too much, but at the same time, the models, especially standing one behind the other, were all sharp. So this is a studio portrait, there you can put it on a tripod. And what will remain for nature? Or a waist-length one with a blurred background, or a tall one from far away with a dead background, or squeeze in, but why carry a kilogram of expensive glass with you?

      • Arkady Shapoval

Could have done 1.2 already, then the meaning would have been much greater.

        • Roman

Well, according to the principle “because I can”. I really hate lenses with questionable positioning.

          • Arkady Shapoval

Well, they somehow needed to update the old 85, but making it for the $ 2000 segment is another matter.

            • Roman

Well, Canon at 1.4 has a wonderful stub. Tamron has an even more appropriate stub for 1.8. Samyang is relatively cheap. Yongs are very cheap, everything is 1.8 small. And here - let's do something like 1.2 in size and aperture, but not 1.2 in aperture. Well, it will be sharp on the open, but confusing - with such and such a grip. And they didn't say a new word, and it seemed like they closed the hole, but then again they will be surprised - why such a cool camera has so few fans.

              • Alexey

it is sharp in the open precisely because of the size (apsecy) of 1.2, but it was internally pinched, spherical aberrations were crushed and voila. Sigma art, sho 50, sho 85 is made in the same way.

              • Michael

As Rodion noted above, the circuit here is close to the Zeiss Otus 85mm 1.4.
Then maybe there will be a legendary drawing like that of Zeiss? )

  • R'RёS,R ° F "RёR№

Pentax k1 is not worse than the second modification. The only difference is the processor, which uses functions a little faster. And in the new firmware. Everything else is the same. From the usual K1 in the service, they can make K1-II simply by soldering the processor to a new one and reflashing the camera.
As for the price of K1, it is two times lower than that of the Kenonicon counterparts.
And Pentax already has a bunch of fast fixes Da, F u Fa series. And they are now focusing on the full-frame D-Fa lens lineup. And don't forget about the crop too. In addition to not very good autofocus, I have nothing to blame the Pentax for. Glasses with a chic pattern. Cameras and top-end glasses are splash-proof. And the cameras are one and a half to two times cheaper than the Kenonicon counterparts.

    • Victor

"And the cameras are one and a half to two times cheaper than the Kenonicon counterparts."

      What are these analogs?
Take pentax kp for example. Far from being a top-end crop, even without a second display and with 1/6000.

And what? It costs even more expensive than the Nikon 7500.
