  • Konstantin

Do they have a shortage of buttons and control wheels?

    • Paul

Ahaha, for sure! For $ 19, ergonomics are so-so.

    • BB

I suppose everything is through the touch screen ...
I think the camera is small, so there wasn’t enough space for the buttons))

  • Pavel Gorbunov

Arkady, the announcements of such cameras should have become a bad man for a long time!

    • Rodion

Well, it's very interesting - fudge made a mirrorless medium format, hassel like too. And here is a mirror and pentaprism.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Well, S3 is a good addition to the note about simple and understandable medium format

    • Andrew Ch.

This is much easier than doing the camera and lens reviews yourself.
Radozhiva was valued for quite another.
The site seems to be blown away ...

      • Nik

The site has recently been really blown away, some announcements. There were very few reviews and other interesting materials.

      • Arkady Shapoval

Reviews haven’t gone anywhere; announcements are also important

      • Arkady Shapoval

By the way, in the development and work I have two rather interesting projects now, the materials on them will be in early summer

      • Pokemon

Arkady already in his reviews has already considered most of the popular photographic equipment.
Overboard were new, expensive, or rare, or something irrelevant, or completely shit.
On Canon cameras like units or dimes, of course I would like more detailed reviews.
It would be wonderful if Arkady managed to make friends with the representative offices of Nikon and Canon in Ukraine.

        • Arkady Shapoval

Representations are poor and not friendly and similar resources, as practice has shown, are of little interest to them. Most of all, reviews from video bloggers on YouTube are most valued now, and frankly, this is clearly not my hobby :)

        • Michael

According to canon, there are no gaps not only in f / a, but there are no many interesting lenses either. Although the reasons for these "gaps" are quite understandable

        • Michael

Nikon closed its representative office in Ukraine 10 years ago. And before that there were, even their advertisement d40 and compacts hung on billboards

  • Roman

Is it for the sake of 30x45 that it is necessary to develop a new system for 19K plus glass? Good luck to the sheikhs and other lovers.

    • Arkady Shapoval

It has long been developed and a whole bunch of lenses

      • Roman

And all this for the sake of 30x45 for the sake of 19K + glass?

        • Arkady Shapoval

As someone has said more than once, there is nothing wrong or abnormal in 19k, there is nothing similar to expensive and branded products in the world of darkness. In the field of photography - the same

        • Roman

Well that's how niche and brand exclusive. I understand the benefits of the medium format, but I do not understand how this relates to the medium format. Well, except purely formal.

    • Andrew Ch.

We will wait for a comment and pictures from Dmitry Anatolyevich.

      • Ivan

        • Pokemon

          Well, stosh (s)
          At least someone joy))
Dmitry Anatolyevich is a big fan of photography and seems to still be the owner of Nikon D3X (as well as the General Director of AEROFLOT) and Canon 5DsR (and also heaps of other photographic equipment).
This is not envy - the more photography lovers there are in the country's leadership, the better.
They have more worries / entertainment, and what the hell is not kidding - maybe the photographic industry of the former USSR will be lifted from its knees.

        • Arkady Shapoval

This is an old photo from Leica S (006 or 007), they are all the same on the front side

        • Roman

          Well, Dima, helped you Leica?

          • SashOK

You don’t take a steam bath at a new one!

          • Valery A.

Shaw to take a steam bath, if anything - Dipyoplov will call to visit.

someone on the Internet compared the results of filming with various medium-format cameras and it turned out that the old Leica S2 is superior to all others, for some reason. Maybe through optics, maybe something else but in China I personally saw that camera a couple of times at the photographer’s studio and he shot really cool. We mortals do not even dream of these cameras.

  • twm

    > We mortals do not even dream of these cameras.
Digital SF seems to be ideal for landscape / architecture. And, I suspect, those who make money in that area - they can afford such a tool: Fuji GFX 50R - ~ 3500 per body.

    • koba

that is, indeed, again, what I saw with my own eyes, Pentax 645Z is very popular in China, personally I think that this camera finds the main buyers in China, even in the absence of cheap offers from Fujifilm, the 645Z was the cheapest in this segment, about 6800 dollars. Now I looked and you can buy it in a state of almost new already for 2700 dollars, and this price is even less than some new full-frame cameras. It should also be noted that the fleet of optics for this system is really large, with zooms and excellent fixes, and they are not so expensive, some of them can immediately be bought on the secondary market for less than $ 300. On the other hand, the camera is fully protected and easy to use, in fact it is a medium format SLR autofocus camera, and due to its security it is fully suitable for working in difficult traveling conditions. In short, for a price of less than $ 4000, you can put together an initial system, which some Chinese photographers use for studios too.

The pixels are not enough ...

  • Michael

Quite a funny twist. Leica created the 135 format for compactness and light weight, and after 100 years turned back to the mirror SF ...

  • Vladimir S

Citizens sorry for arrogance .- I read your comments here. I will accept Leica or Hasselblad photo equipment as a gift, sending excuse me for your highly respected account. From my poverty, I thank you so much!

  • Alex

Huge dislike for the work done recently! There is practically nothing interesting. What's the use of this watering can, which no sane person reading the information here on the site will buy! Where are the normal reviews? There is still some old technique left, for example the Canon 5D Mark II, the review of which creates such unbearable difficulties! Arkady replies that no one wants to send it, although it was possible to rent it for a long time, it’s business ... As Arkady Raikin said - intuzazizm is not looking!

    • Arkady Shapoval

No, there are other projects, not all at once. No matter how funny it sounds - there are a lot of techniques, but I'm alone :)

  • Peter Sh.

I wonder why it is better than any Hasselblad X1D?
    Or Pentax 645Z, at worst?

    • Arkady Shapoval

4K, proportions 2 to 3 (and not 3 to 4 like the rest), etc. The same Hasselblad X1D only has a central shutter for 1/2000 lenses

  • Victor

If I am not mistaken, then did the previous model have a CCD matrix?

  • Master

    Noticeable manual assembly
