Hello everyone, I'm a fabulous family photographer Angelina startseva. In search of a beautiful art picture, I came to the conclusion that the manuals are undoubtedly good. There are 2 manual lenses in my collection, this MC HELIOS-44M-6 58mm 1: 2 and CARL ZEISS JENA P 1: 2.8 f = 135mm MC. I especially like the second one, it is an analog of RRAKTICAR or PENTACON, but released at the Jena factory, it is a rare lens and there are quite a few such models.
With manual lenses, I usually shoot at aperture of F / 2-4.5, depending on the desired result. I like Helios's drawing, especially in winter, and the 135th Zeiss paints well in spring and summer. I work on Canon EOS 6D Mark IITherefore, both lenses need their own adapters. Actually, Helios had a question about clinging to a mirror, which is solved by a small modification from the master. Over time, I bought Canon EF 135mm 1: 2 L, pleased with its sharpness and speed of focus, but occasionally miss the pattern of Helios and Zeiss.

in my opinion all the photos are good and all three lenses are great. Kenonovsky 135/2 is a magnificent portrait painter, it is generally one of the best lenses in the world, moreover, with aft focus. He has the most correct bokeh, but the other lenses are also interesting, they have a different pattern, and Zeiss has a slightly more lively picture, more fabulous. Thanks for the wonderful photos!

DC is Defocus control, up to aperture 5,6 it is possible to control the blur not only of the background, but of the front too. You can very clearly and in sharpness completely select an object in 4K, for example, and blur the background like in 2K. Also "one of the best lenses in the world, besides with an autofocus." :)
Processing here and there, NMB, too aggressive - model-on-the-snow (no. 2 for helios), model-on-a-line (no. 1 for 135/2) look like dolls, in some places the colors are too twisted ...
But, PMSM, after all, the lyalka is better here. The character of this zeiss is not very visible, but purely technically - blur, colors are better in the lyalka.

I use the Canon 135 f / 2L on the Canon 1Ds mark II and indeed 135 / 2L more interestingly blur the background due to aperture 2, but still there are a lot of rather interesting and inexpensive manual lenses, and therefore if I can buy a couple, the camera’s matrix is chic and does not require a large resolution for sharp images. I also have a Canon 85 f / 1.8 USM, which is also an excellent lens. Here's an example, blurring from it is also very pleasant.
