What a bright one!
Yes, in the courtyard 2020 is the era of high technologies, and here is a zoom with a hole in 7.1. It is not clear where the world is heading….
I have such a hole on the old minolte at the end of 400 mm)))
"Relative aperture: from 1: 4-7.1 (SEVEN AND ONE!)" - Immediately I want to add after 7.1 "Karl !!!"
Add "Serge !!!"
Look how smart Andrusha is ...
Surprising, of course ... Everyone wrote that the new mount would make it easier (and cheaper) to develop lighter lenses. And here it is darker than the mirror analogue and for the same price ...
They even hesitated to draw an optical scheme and indicate which special elements are used in it. Perhaps later information will appear
77x89 mm with a weight of 400 g versus 83x104 mm with a weight of 525 g on a obviously thicker (just the length of the EF-RF adapter) camera is a plus. Some tricky manual macro mode as a plus (like the one that looks like 24-70 / 4?)
The pursuit of super profitability, as usual.
What is the moronic habit of old scoops to reduce ANY initiative to super-profitability? ANY company is aimed at making a profit, you did not know about it? Any product should bring this profit. And any product is valued by the market and customers. You can talk about super-profitability when you don’t buy a camera without this glass under any sauce, and it will be sold for your $ 400 extra charge to the carcass.
As long as you have the opportunity not to buy (and most old scoops usually do not have the opportunity to buy anything other than the next Helios-44) - this is just another very strange glass with some considerations that Canon took into account when developing this glass. Perhaps the size. Perhaps stub. Perhaps, the stub has a long operating time on a smaller lens (mirrorless mirrors still quickly eat out the battery and this is also a consideration).
The market votes for necessary and unnecessary things. And not the old scoop. On the forum. With stories about the capitalists.
As for the old scoop, a big mistake. Roman, you somehow react too aggressively, and with your youthful enthusiasm you mixed me up with Alexander about stories about capitalists. Profit is certainly important and the prices for photographic equipment have never been formed by manufacturers, taking into account CIS salaries. The manufacturer in most cases tries to save on the cost of the product and at the same time sell at a higher price. But now this trend sometimes comes to madness, my personal opinion.
The devil only knows. Strange glass, of course. But on the other hand, 5 stub stops and a diameter of 67 mm instead of 77. Like a tourist whale for an RP for daytime photography, it is quite if the emphasis is on the size and weight of a full-frame lens.
They are cunning in the video, of course, they show the portrait range, the girl stands on the background of the bridge at a great distance, and there is a good blur on 7.1.
I was just thinking about this in the Tatra Mountains with an RP of 50 1.8, I regretted that I couldn’t take a panorama at 100mm on the full frame, besides, the wind with snow in the mountains did not want to outweigh the lenses, I shot it on the second one from Sony with a minolta of 100-200mm but the question is whether it will be sharp at 7.1 or close to 9, not to mention the sharpness in the field at the corners, there will definitely be no soap in the open panorama.
I immediately thought about a whale for RP, especially since they are now selling with an elka, which costs the same as a carcass. But still 7.1 ...
Who wanted a COMPACT BZK system here?
Get f / 7.1 aperture !!!
And what's wrong with that. You will not please anyone. Everyone wants a cheap aperture zoom with focal lengths of 18-500.
The usual whale "lens". Light ones are not much more expensive, 1 kg of glass = 1000 bucks (if not more expensive). And, this will go to a tourist ... if you also indulge in lightrum considering raw and iso not as in the first eos ... it will be quite suitable for the layman. And, here is a writing 8k vidos eos 5, with 2 memory cards and a new matrix stub (ebis)))) will require more serious optics 24-70 f2, 1,5 kg of glass))) for the corresponding "denyushka". This all applies to Sony and Fuji systems ... everything that is now without mirrors and with stubs. May God grant all good profits and capacities to producers who will cope with our desires)))
Normal lens
.but a little dark. But darkness is compensated for by a manually adjustable control ring for exposure compensation. ISO bulges a little, but within the acceptable range. Sharpness, contrast, color rendition is not much different from L-kiI. On CANON RP just right, refused L-ki. I don’t regret it yet. The 24-105f / 4L was good on the CANON 6D, and with the CANON EOS RP this one.
I shot the subject with a crop and an 18-135 is stm lens. An excellent lens for a subject. Very sharp. Even a little macro. On a multi-pixel crop, the resolution is comparable to a full-frame 100mm 2,8f macro, the only one with 100mm macro is better.
If this rf lens is no worse than the whale 18-135 on the crop, then it will perfectly fit for shooting a subject on the rp canon with closed apertures. Now for a kit with rp the price is 250 S higher than for a body rp.
