    Winter began unexpectedly ...
This year, the autumn dragged on. It was December, and we never saw snow. And then one December morning he went. Looking out the windows, I saw this bird :-) He probably did not expect such a development of events.
Shot on Fujifilm X-E1 + Jupiter-37a 135mm. Used b / w profile of the camera and a small adjustment in Lightroom.

Photographed last spring with Canon 20D + Sigma UC Zoom 70-210mm f4.5-5.6. At settings: ISO 100, 1 / 400s, f 4.5. I then only recently took the device, chose according to what my meager funds allowed me (but I don’t regret the choice a single gram), and I managed to take a carcass with a mileage of 4,7K for 80 bucks. And I had nothing on the lens at all, and somehow I was lucky enough to take this Sigma with “dead” electronics for 25 bucks. So I had to take pictures only in manual mode.
On that holiday, in the morning, I, the chief, and the executive director met in our office, we resolved all work issues, and I, together with the executive, went out into the street…. Smoked and waited for the boss to close the office. I stood looking at these icicles on the visor at the entrance, thinking how interesting they played 0 * at night and the cold north wind created such a miracle .... and having almost finished his cigarette he guessed that they should be photographed. As soon as I took a couple of pictures and started hiding my device in my backpack, the chief came out, looked at the visor and icicles, and hit the visor with all his might ... and all this miracle crashed on the asphalt. And the executive started laughing at me that I took their photographs on time and now have exclusive photos)))

Bravo, an interesting shot and story.

Photo taken on December 10, 2017. That evening in Kiev it snowed sharply and covered the whole city. From the vivid memories of that evening, there were moments of how every five minutes I shook off snow drifts from the camera and thought: “Will it leak onto the mechanism or not?”. The camera passed the test. Shooting parameters: shutter speed 1/25, aperture 2.8, sensitivity 400, focal length 35 mm (EGF 50 mm). Camera - Sony SLT A58, lens - Sony DT 16-50 F2.8 SSM.

Ukraine, the mountains of Goverla (left) and Petra (right), shot on 07.01.2020/XNUMX/XNUMX on a Nikon camera. We live in the south of Ukraine where there is a very warm winter. We decided not to wait for the snow, but to find it ourselves. We went to Transcarpathia and what a beauty!

    The photograph was taken on a Nikon D7000 camera, Tamron 17-50 lens, 2,8, tripod velbon vs 443d. Focal length 17mm, F / 9, iso 100, 1/20 sec.
The title of the work is "Winter Evening Tale". A lot of snow fell that day, which prompted me to go into the forest to take pictures. The forest was very quiet, snow covered every twig in the trees and a white carpet covered the ground. When I found this location, it was already starting to get dark, which created an unforgettable atmosphere like in a fairy tale.
