Photo taken in December 2018 in the Carpathians during the descent from Goverla! It was sunset time, and the sky was overcast. But at some point, for several minutes, the clouds parted and a light broke out, which illuminated everything in purple. The photo was taken with hands, without a tripod at the limit for the ISO camera. At that time, the Tokina 7100-12 lens from which the photo was taken was wound on the Nikon d28. Further processing was carried out by a lightroom in which overexposures and work with shadows were removed. The file was in raw format!

A series of 5 frames in increments of one stop (+2, +1, 0, -1, -2). M mode, fr 18mm. chose a frame, set the shutter speed so that the exposure meter showed + 2. Hold the camera firmly, took a picture without looking up from the camera and trying not to move, turned the dial three clicks (1 click 1/3 stop (for me it was an insight))) made snapshot again, and so on until he took five shots. On the border of day and night.
January 4, 2020 near the city of Kandalaksha, Murmansk region.
Day trip to Volosyanaya bypassing the hiking trail. Visible Kandalaksha Bay, Volosyanaya, Krestovaya.
Nikon D7200 + Tokina 11-16 + tripod. 11mm, 1/10, f / 9, ISO100. Panorama of 17 shots. Processing - shadows tightened and overexposures removed. Panorama creation - AutopanoGiga. Then a little work with contrast and sharpness.
From the important when shooting and gluing panoramas (which I noted for myself):
    - a wide-angle lens gives specific distortions in images, therefore, it is of great importance to align the camera in level and height
    - all shots should be taken with the same exposure pair, take the brightest area as the base
    - more pictures - better gluing
    - in some cases automatic distortion corrections in CameraRaw can be harmful, vignetting correction must be controlled

    "Mirror of the Snow Queen"

This is a two-frame HDR assembled in a lightroom. Nikon D7000 18-105 kit. 1/13 + 1/50 sec. with exposure compensation -2. I got to this beach only at sunset, and there was no tripod with me. I had to lean against the handrails to remove interesting ice without stirring. Amused these citizens walking on the pier :)
Photos were taken at the end of November 2019 in Mariupol. It is not winter yet, but the weather was very wintery. A slight frost and strong wind did not allow the Sea of Azov to freeze completely, and in the harbor of the yacht club they turned the water surface into ice fragments - as if from a broken mirror of the Snow Queen from a fairy tale.

Photo of 2019. The weather was wonderful, I really wanted to take pictures, and my daughters to play, the children are madly in love with snow! I photographed a whale lens on a canon 1100

My photo “Year of the Mouse”.

The photo was taken as a postcard for the site with greeting WEB-cards. I usually do this for the New Year, then upload it to the site, send it to friends. It is interesting to see how many times your postcard will be selected on the site and sent.

In the photo I wanted to convey the glow of the garland bulbs. When processing, I tried to get the correct tones and shades of color without distortion.

Photo taken on a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G80 and a 7artisans 55mm / f1.4 lens. The lens is well suited for shooting objects close up, the photo shows the volume, the subject stands out well.

On a photo walk with her daughter and her Canon EOS 400D, he also captured his old Canon EOS 300D to try out the INDUSTAR 50-2.
Well, what happened, it worked ... I shot in JPEG S, because at that time I found only CF 16MB from some old printer (in this mode, it could hold as many as 8 photos - you can recall the "film" times)

The photo was taken on December 2, 2019, near the city of Tartu in Estonia, shot on his first Nikon D3200 camera, a Nikkor 50mm 1.4G lens at aperture 2.8, took several handheld pictures, then combined them into a panorama in Lightroom. We went to Tartu with my family on business, saw this view and soon began to look for the opportunity to park in order to film. It’s good that there was no need to rush anywhere, they left with a margin of time.

  • Anastasia Paramzina

An example commentary inspired. I already have Helios, so victory in the competition is not needed, purely out of love for art, so to speak :)
