The days of this writing are raging mirrorless fever, but many mirrorless cameras and even entire systems simply did not live up to this time, and some survive their last days.
Here we will talk about mirrorless crop, i.e. About mirrorless cameras with a sensor, less than 36 * 24 mm.
Nikon 1 system (Kf = 2.7x)
The classic representative of the deceased species. The system was announced 21 September 2011 yearslast camera was announced April 2 2015 years. The system, in fact, lived only 4 years. Now the system is not developing and is considered dead.
The system created as many as four lines of cameras, some of which underwent as many as five iterations:
- J: Nikon 1 J1, Nikon 1 J2, Nikon 1 J3, Nikon 1 J4, Nikon 1 J5
- S: Nikon 1 S1, Nikon 1 S2
- V: Nikon 1 V1, Nikon 1 V2, Nikon 1 V3
- AW: Nikon 1AW1
And not the smallest optics park:
- Nikon 10 / 2.8
- Nikon AW 10 / 2.8
- Nikon 18.5 / 1.8
- Nikon 32 / 1.2
- Nikon 6.7-13 / 3.5-5.6
- Nikon 10-30 / 3.5-5.6
- Nikon 10-30 / 3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM
- Nikon 10-100 / 4-5.6
- Nikon 10-100 / 4.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM
- Nikon 11-27.5 / 3.5-5.6
- Nikon AW 11-27.5 / 3.5-5.6
- Nikon 30-110 / 3.8-5.6
- Nikon 70-300 / 4.5-5.6
- FT1 adapter for some Nikon AF-S lenses
The system had a lot of interesting features:
- unprecedented for those times, the speed of serial photo shooting is 60 fps
- super slow-motion movie mode
- really compact sizes
- interesting lenses for example Nikon 32 / 1.2 or Nikon 10-100 / 4.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM with electronic zoom
- super fast autofocus
- there was a protected camera for shooting under water and at low temperatures
A number of factors are the cause of death of the system, the main ones being the poor image quality and peculiar positioning of the system by Nikon.
Samsung NX System (APS-C, Kf = 1.5x)
The system was introduced on January 4, 2010, the last camera was introduced on February 6, 2015. Thus, the system lasted 5 years. Now Samsung NX is not developing and is considered dead.
A huge number of different cameras were released in several lines:
- NX5, NX10, NX11, NX20, NX30
- NX100, NX200, NX210, NX300, NX300M, NX500
- NX1000, NX1100, NX2000, NX3000, NX3300
- GalaxyNX
- NX1
And a large optics park:
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5 10 mm Fisheye
- Samsung Lens 1: 2.4 16 mm i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 2.8 20 mm i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 2 30 mm
- Samsung Lens 1: 1.8 45 mm i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 1.8 45 mm 2D / 3D i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 2.8 60mm Macro ED OIS SSA i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 1.4 85 mm ED SSA i-Function
- Samsung Lens Premium 1: 2.8 S 300 mm ED SSA OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 4-5.6 12-24mm ED I-FUNCTION
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-5.6 EZ 16-50mm ED OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 2-2.8 S 16-50mm ED OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-5.6 18-55mm OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-5.6 18-55mm II OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-5.6 18-55mm III OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-6.3 18-200mm ED OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-5.6 20-50mm ED I-FUNCTION
- Samsung Lens 1: 3.5-5.6 20-50mm II ED i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 2.8 S 50-150mm ED OIS i-Function
- Samsung Lens 1: 4-5.6 50-200mm ED OIS i-Function
- maybe some missed?
The system had great potential and a number of interesting features:
- first aps-c mirrorless mirrors in the form factor
- wide variety of options
- a set of professional lenses, interesting lenses such as S 16-50 / 2-2.8, 85/1.4 SSA and S 50-150/2.8
The reason for the cessation of the development of the line is considered to be Samsung's departure to the camera industry for smartphones.
Samsung NX-M System (Kf = 2.7x)
The system consists of only one representative: Samsung NX Mini with Samsung NX-M mount, introduced on March 19, 2014. Only three lenses were produced for the camera:
- Samsung 9 1: 3.5 ED NX-M Mount
- Samsung 17 1: 1.8 ED OIS NX-M Mount
- Samsung 9-27 1: 3.5-5.6 ED OIS NX-M Mount
There were rumors that the Samsung NX Mini 2 will appear in 2016, but the production was closed. The Samsung NX-M is an offshoot of the Samsung NX and is also dead.
Leica T system (APS-C, Kf = 1.5x)
There is only one camera Leica T (Type 701)introduced April 24, 2014 with the Leica T mount and for Leica T lenses.
Leica T lenses for cameras with APS-C sensor, Leica T mount:
- Leica SUMMICRON-T 1: 2 / 23 ASPH.
- Leica SUPER-VARIO-ELMAR-T 1:3.5-4.5/11-23 ASPH.
- Leica VARIO-ELMAR-T 1:3.5-5.6/18-56 ASPH.
- Leica APO-VARIO-ELMAR-T 1:3.5-4.5/55-135 ASPH.
On October 20, 2015, with the release of the Leica SL (Typ 601), the T mount was renamed to the L mount.
The Leica T crop camera system has been replaced/renamed to the Leica TL system (Leica TL camera) with Leica TL lenses for cameras with APS-C sensor and bayonet Leica L (TL for crop and SL for full frame). The Leica T lenses from the list above have been converted to Leica TL lenses. Later supplemented by the Leica TL2 and Leica CL systems.
The T mount was unified. It is very easy for an inexperienced user to get confused in this entire T, TL, SL, L, TL2 hash. Technically, Leica T was written off.
Pentax Q (Kf = 5.53x)
The system was introduced on June 23, 2011, and in September 2012 the latest Pentax Q10 camera was released.
- Pentax Q
- Pentax Q10
The cameras were positioned as the lightest and most compact mirrorless cameras.
Pentax Q (Kf = 4.65x)
The system was introduced in June 2013, and on August 4, 2014 the latest Pentax Q-s1 camera was released.
- Pentax Q7
- Pentax Q-s1
There are 8 lenses for Pentax Q family cameras:
- SMC Pentax 1: 1.9 8.5 mm AL [IF] [LENS 01]
- SMC Pentax 1: 2.8-4.5 5-15mm ED AL [IF] [LENS 02]
- SMC Pentax 1: 5.6 3.2mm FISH-EYE [lens 03]
- Pentax TOY LENS WIDE 1: 7.1 6.3 mm [lens 04]
- Pentax TOY LENS TELEPHOTO 1: 8 18 mm [lens 05]
- SMC Pentax 1: 2.8 15-45mm ED [IF] [LENS 06]
- Pentax MOUNT SHIELD LENS 1: 9 11.5 mm [lens 07]
- SMC Pentax 1: 3.7-4 3.8-5.9mm ED AL [IF] [LENS 08]
These lenses are suitable for both Pentax Q, Pentax Q10 cameras with Kf = 5.53X and Pentax Q7, Pentax Q-s1 cameras with Kf = 4.65X. In the names of the lenses, the aperture values are confused with the values of the focal length, apparently this is the main reason for stopping this system.
Pentax K-01 (APS-C, Kf = 1.5x)
On February 2, 2012, an interesting Pentax K-01 camera was announced, which was mirrorless, but with a long working distance, which allowed it to use conventional Pentax K-mount SLR lenses.
The camera was the first of its kind, providing an interesting concept. But already in February 2013 Pentax K-01 was officially discontinued and sunk into oblivion.
Sigma sd Quattro (APS-C, Kf = 1.5x)
Consists of just one Sigma camera sd Quattro, which was announced on February 23, 2016. Uses a special FOVEON sensor. The Sigma SA mount can accommodate a huge variety of original Sigma DSLR lenses. Most likely it will not receive further development and will be replaced by a full-frame camera based on FOVEON.
Sigma sd Quattro H (APS-H, Kf = 1.3x)
Consists of just one Sigma camera sd Quattro H, which was announced on February 23, 2016. Uses a special FOVEON sensor. The Sigma SA mount can accommodate a huge variety of original Sigma DSLR lenses. Most likely it will not receive further development and will be replaced by a full-frame camera based on FOVEON.
Xiaoyi / YI (Micro 4/3, Kf=2x)
On September 19, 2016, Xiaoyi launched its first M4/3 mount mirrorless camera, the Xiaoyi M1.
The camera could be seen with two lenses:
- Xiaoyi ZOOM LENS 12-40mm 1:3.5-5.6 (black/silver, ALIEXPRESS)
- Xiaoyi LENS 42.5 mm 1:1.8 (black/silver, ALIEXPRESS)
Firstly Xiaoyi M1 was interesting the ability to record 4K video. If Samsung can make cameras, then why Xiaomi can not? But the thing is further Xiaoyi M1 did not go.
Kodak (Micro 4/3, Kf = 2x)
On January 7, 2014, Kodak's only mirrorless camera, the Kodak Pixpro S-1, was announced with the following lenses:
- Kodak PIXPRO Aspherical ED Lens 12-45mm / 1: 3.5-6.3
- Kodak PIXPRO ED 42.5-160mm / 1: 3.9-5.9
- Fieldscope 400mm f / 6.7
Within 5 years, no further development was followed. Most likely, fierce competition with similar cameras from Olympus and Panasonic made themselves felt.
Ricoh GXR (GXR MOUNT A12, APS-C, Kf = 1.5x)
It is a modular system that includes a chassis (camera) onto which removable modules are attached. The modules consist either of a sensor with a fixed lens and a processor, or a separate module with a sensor and a bayonet mount. The only known module with a sensor and a bayonet is the GXR MOUNT A12 CMOS with a Leica M mount and an APS-C sensor.
The system was introduced on November 10, 2009, but has not received wide distribution and consists of only a few modules. Looks like this... Of course, this is not a classic mirrorless camera, but rather a rangefinder digital camera / system, as the GXR MOUNT A12 does not support auto focus.
Epson R (APS-C, Kf = 1.5x)
It is also worth remembering the first digital rangefinders (mirrorless cameras without autofocus and Live View). The first of them was the Epson R-D1 ('R' - 'Rangefinder' - Rangefinder), introduced in March 2004. Several modifications of this camera were released, based on the same sensor:
- Epson R-D1
- Epson R-d1s
- Epson R-D1x
- Epson R-D1xG
These cameras used a Leica M mount. Officially, this system was closed on March 17, 2014.
Hasselblad
September 18, 2012 was released the only cropped mirrorless camera Hasselblad lunar with Sony E-mount, camera-based Sony NEX-7. Three lenses were released for this camera:
- Hasselblad E 3.5-5.6/18-55 OSS LF Lunar (black/silver, replica Sony 18-55 / 3.5-5.6 OSS)
- Hasselblad E 3.5-6.3/18-200 OSS LF Lunar (copy Sony 18-200 / 3.5-6.3 OSS)
- Hasselblad E 2.8/16 LF Lunar (copy Sony 16 / 2.8)
Subsequently, Hasselblad Lunar never received a receiver.
Results
You won't get very far on one mirrorless. Despite the fact that mirrorless systems have been predicted and are predicting a wonderful future, in real market conditions, entire mirrorless systems simply died out or completely ceased to develop. One of the main reasons for the decline of cropped mirrorless cameras is the improved capabilities of mobile phone cameras and the departure of many photographers and hobbyists to full frame or more advanced DSLR and mirrorless systems.

Hot topic, bzk die
The second page of the discussion has gone. Mirrorless crop all will die out
Canonnikonpentaxsony will all release smartphones and selfie sticks.
All “2D” cameras will die out someday ...
This was said both at the opening of holography, and about 2D films at the beginning of sales of 3D TVs ... But you can't see 3D cameras and camcorders on sale, and Litro has faded ...
It's just that 'someday' hasn't come yet. 3D technologies are too young and green, too many different, incompatible standards. I think over time, field scanning technology will be the most popular.
How old is the technology of photography and video filming? One and a half hundred years for the first, a couple of decades less for the second. How old is real 3D? In the household sector, as far as I know, there is no simple and affordable technology for 3D photography (simple - in the sense of turning on the device, pressing a button, receiving a frame, throwing it on a computer, putting on glasses, you see a three-dimensional picture). I'm generally silent about the video. Yes, there are single devices, but I cannot call them affordable (in terms of - I went and bought, adequate price (× 1.5– × 2 from the usual '2D', for example), widespread technology, accessories, etc.) I cannot.
There were recently camcorders, then they started selling along with 3D TVs and disappeared with them. At the very 3D TV, but I already forgot when I watched the 3D messages a while. Yes, there is no normal technology besides virtual helmets. But who will watch a movie in them?
3D cameras, too, someone did, but there is no corny demand for them.
Everything has been in everyday life for a long time, you don’t even need to reset it on a computer, just remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into the 3D TV:
https://www.panasonic.com/ru/consumer/digital-cameras-and-camcorders/digital-cameras/lumix-g-camera-lenses/h-ft012.html
I wrote 'real 3D'.
Here with that fiend (on your link), what base will be? Such a base is only suitable for macro photography. For any object larger than a cat, a larger base is already needed.
Therefore, until the field scanning technology is completed (and translation into a vector, of course), home photos and videos will only be in '2D'.
This is the easiest option. Many cameras and camcorders with a base equal to human or more were produced. You will look after all with your eyes, in excess of a large one and you need to. Well, the people did not buy them. We need a means of reproduction, in front of which we don’t have to sit in the dark with glasses.

There was also such a nikon coolpix A kf-1,5 ... Completely lost ...
Nikon since d700 has released only a couple of interesting cameras that have become hits.
This is d5100 / d7000, d850.
The rest is mediocrity and / or raw.
In ff bz, instead of the color of the successful d850, they returned the gray.
“Interesting” means, first of all, those that are interesting for the manufacturer; sales volumes. Do you have detailed data - how much and what is nikon selling?
The 1v lineup is insanely sorry. Excellent road equipment + adapter according to F.
No.
All nikonvan is a dream of reason.
Garbage remnants with - for some reason - interchangeable optics.
Without light (these clowns didn't even make a shoe), with a frankly nasty sensor, without ergonomics ... But at a wild price.
Any inch in the picture was devoted to them.
in general, everything is not so. In terms of sharpness, the nikon 10-30 vr kitten is better than, for example, the rx100-3, although it is darker. In terms of capabilities, something that it is - little inches. The dimensions of the nikon1 are larger, but there is also a more serious battery. In general, not everything is so simple and unambiguous.
Here crop Canon for rf lenses nafik is not needed - you just need to look at the prices and sizes of these rf lenses. M-ku would be developed separately, and not as ef-s: a pair of normal lenses, and the rest is supposed to be ef banduras at an expensive rate. In general, the dual-pixel is the best thing that happened in the world of the BZK. Well, mikra, I went on vacation 1 time without a car, and started a mikra with the second system (while the second one).
All IMHO of course.
With Sigma, everything is much more interesting. Sigma SD Quattro, Sigma SD Quattro H - Foveon Quattro sensor inside, SA mount. Last year, Sigma, Leica and Panasonic formed an L-mount alliance. And now Sigma will release cameras on L-mount, and it seems to have released a full-frame Sigma FP camera with L-mount. At least one full-frame L-mount camera is expected next year with the new generation of Foveon sensor. All SA glasses will work through the SA-LMount adapter
Ага.
When they make some kind of body kit under this plastic box with a matrix and accordion, which you called “camera”, then we can talk about shooting.
And when the sigma is able to put together some kind of software so that they can adequately show, then you can already try to discuss the result of the device.
So far, it looks more like another misunderstanding.
With optics, they somehow crammed into it; however, he had to evoke the spirit of Heinz Kilfitt, because they also do not know how to make normal glass, but can only slap a front lens the size of a cart-wheel.
But even though there is a picture, it’s already nice.
I think if you want to take a mirrorless now, the best is the Samsung NX11, given the price on the resale.
