Replacing the mount is cool. It is very cool. Unrealistically cool. As cool as a Swiss watch.
I understand correctly: I come to the service and I get from the lens, for example, under Nikon they make glass for Canon (of course, if they have the same optical schemes)?

    • Arkady Shapoval

Specifically, in this case, for 14-24 of the announcement, you can change L to E and vice versa.
For a mirrored 14-24 in their Mount Conversion Service, it is theoretically possible to replace F with EF.

But not all lenses support this procedure. Approximate list here https://www.sigmaphoto.com/service-support/mount-conversion-service

And the issue price is from 100 to 400 dollars + transportation costs.

We decided not to experiment with 12 mm and stop at 14. I wonder what happened

    • Novel

      12-24 with aperture 4, 12-24 - with aperture 2.8.

      • Michael

        Et yes

    • Novel

      Ugh, 14-24 with aperture 2.8

    • Arkady Shapoval

They made ART 12-24 with F / 4 and 14-24 with F / 2.8 for SLR cameras, and now they have a completely different ART 14-24 / 2.8 for mirrorless cameras. Judging by the photos that were posted, a very worthy solution.

    I only photograph nature.
    Help with choosing a wide-angle:
    sigma 14-24 dg dn art
    lumix 16-35s pro
    or wait for lumix 14-28s

Already targeting this sigma 14-24, but lots of reports about ghosting and flare. As soon as the sun is near, so green and purple spots across the frame. And I shoot a lot in the mountains and often the sun is in the direction of shooting.

16-35 is the most expensive. And how much I don’t read reviews - I can’t understand, but what is there from pro?
