Filter diameter 62 and not 52

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Fixed

  • Paul

    Question price?

  • Paul

    Arkady, thanks!

  • zengarden

On dpreview there are examples of pictures from it; even on f1.1 it’s surprisingly good, and even more so on the covered one.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Samples here.

    • Pashqwert

The contrast is very weak on near open, and the closer you get, the worse the result.

      • Pashqwert

Ay something I, it's a short-range lens. Then everything is right opportunities / picture / quality.

      • Alex

Yes, a normal contrast, even on a poor TN-monitor.

  • Onotole

The lenses in the photo look as if they have no enlightenment at all

    • Vitaly N

The photos are black and white. By the link Arkady in color photos it is visible.

I have the first version of this glass - more precisely, it has already been sold, but then I will buy another one. The glass is interesting and of high quality, especially for 6000r that I gave for it - it's just a brain removal - a very high-quality video picture, cinematic - especially on fat-pixel NEX. In terms of light transmission, it is better than Zenitar 50 \ 1.2. Of the shortcomings, I note only indistinct color reproduction, cheap in some cases and bad angles on all diaphragms

    • Rodion

I wonder what is the difference with zenithar numerically in light transmission? And is it possible to see some comparison of them?

  • Vadym

So what is the difference between the second version and the first? For what extra. $ 100?

    • Arkady Shapoval

Old 5/5 and 52mm, new 8/6 and 62 mm. That is, these are completely different lenses

The other day I received Kamlan 50 F1.1 Mark II! One of the first in Russia BU in a new state.
Tested on cameras A3500, a5000, NEX 3N. What I want to say - the lens is outstanding, especially for this money! In terms of the picture and design, this product is close (comparable in quality) to Zeiss (not a poor Sony FE with a blue Zeiss sticker). The assembly is just perfect - there are no backlashes and gaps. Lenses are the cleanest inside - the rear lens is fixed. Picture and drawing at F1.1 level Canon FD 85 1.2L - no fools. Absolutely perfect lens centering, homogeneous symmetrical coma from center to corners. The star is centered on the dot. Extremely low chromatic level - at 1.1, which disappears at F2.8. Sharpness at 5.6-8 becomes even across the entire crop matrix. The lens is not tinkling - sharpness is not rough or crisp like the Sigma or Samyang. As for light transmission, it is lighter than Zenitar 50 \ 1.2 at equal apertures. But the Zenitar on the 5.6 -11 hole is noticeably rougher and more ringing. Kamklan MII produces an incredibly cinematic and beautiful video picture with a creamy unobtrusive bokeh. In short, this is the best 50mm lens I've ever owned.

    • Rodion

      Nexus, log in.

    • Sergei

Or you can pair, head to head with a poor Sony Zeiss planar 50 1.4))

      • Rodion

If we are talking about C / Y CZ 50 / 1.4, then he has practically no chances on the technical side, and this is a harsh truth: 7 lenses at the Western Federal District for DSLRs in the 80s cannot be done better than for an UPC with 8 lenses in 2010- x. On the artistic side - maybe, maybe.

      • Novel

I was touched by the characteristic about "the cleanest lenses". And what, in the new lens of 2020, can be cloudy, with fungus and defects?

        • Michael

          May have air bubbles

          • Novel

Pts. That is, this is already a reason for pride that in the purchased squalor they did not slip a lens with air bubbles in the glass? Hmmm ...

      • Novel

https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0064/8714/6547/files/50mk2-color_richness.jpg?11204 - rich color, as the manufacturer tells us on the website, who has driven all the colors along the cyan / magenta axes and increased the saturation.

    • Serg

uniformly uniform symmetrical coma from the center to the corners

      : D mega lens

  • Serg

another aperture ratio with a boring bokeshka.

    • Ihor

      another irrelevant comment

  • Mihailo

    Is it only for crop?

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Yes
