Base with all Nikon, Canon, Pentax lenses

Legion Nikon

Legion of Nikon. Picture taken hence

For Nikon, the official sites do not provide the entire line of lenses, and sometimes there are no differences even in the new product versions.

Roland's Nikon Pages - almost a desktop encyclopedia for those who like to delve into the line of all (all, all!) Nikon lenses. The database can be viewed in different modes:

  1. By serial numbers
  2. By type of lens
  3. By generalized form
  4. By accessories
  5. There is also data on all of the CZK

I express my gratitude to photosynthesis.co.nz for the creation and support of such a resource. Personally, I have accessed these summary tables millions of times and even tried to supplement them by writing a couple of letters to Roland.

Canon Legion

Canon Legion. Photo taken hence.

Canon is much easier.

Information on all lenses and cameras can be found in the official online museum. The museum is divided into two rooms: lenses and cameras.

Lenses can be viewed:

  1. by series
  2. by production period

Cameras / cameras can be viewed in the same way:

  1. by series
  2. by production period

The museum has been operating since 1996, and I also turned to it more than once. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to find detailed information on a particular lens, but still this is the most comprehensive collection.

Legion Pentax

Legion Pentax. Photo taken hence

For Pentax, a lot of lens information can be found Pentaxforums. Almost everyone who has Pentax and who is interested in Pentax products sooner or later gets to PentaxFormum.

A warm tube site with lots of detailed information on virtually all Pentax / Asahi Opt lenses. Co. Data presented on a series of lenses.

I want to separately note a very pleasant photo community of Pentax owners who love to share information about Pentax products.

Unfortunately, all the above resources are available only in English, but an online translator will be able to help out in many ways.

  • Ivan Shikhalev

I don’t know how with lenses, and Canon’s cameras are not all presented.

    • EVGEN

++ quite popular 35-70 2.8 also did not find
      apparently in development

      • Dmitriy

They looked bad. He is there, however, like all Nikon lenses

        Mid-Zoom Professional

        AF 35-70 / 2.8 200001 - 329846 - Oct 1987 - Sep 1992 etc.

      • Arkady Shapoval

In fact, it is there, in all three versions, in the Mid Zoom Professional section, or in xx-70 Pro

      • Noone

        Does Canon have 35-70 2.8?

        • Arkady Shapoval

This, IMHO, is a terrible tracing-paper with a lens-club, which has pulled over all of its jambs

    Hello!
    What about the Sony database?

  • zengarden

I used Nikonovskaya repeatedly :) it’s good that you collected them all in one place.

  • Igor

And what about IX Nikkor lenses (which are for APS film cameras)? I know that they definitely won’t fit the fullframe, but what about crop? Will there be any compatibility at all? And did anyone use these at all?

    • Arkady Shapoval

They are microprocessor compatible but not mechanically compatible with DSLRs. They have too long a protrusion from the back of the lens, which abuts against the mirror. Especially cunning can install them on cameras and shoot in Live View with a raised mirror, but only with those cameras that do not slam a mirror in Live View (starting with D800). But on the Z6 / Z7, Nikon 1 and the adapter F-> Z, there should not be any problems with the installation, but it will lose auto focus. In general, they have no practical application.

Interestingly about the conic-minolta))) after the merger, if something was inside the catalogs, it ceased to be interesting for Sonya ... Officially - I recommend looking - there is NOTHING on the minolte on the off-page Yapovskaya page about the fact that before the 87th. But - !!! - written by ATP for the use of the manufacturer's technique))) and so on and so on. Bark in the other - catalogs of both manufacturers in the database of another manufacturer. But this is a completely different story) In general, it is strange that neither Mina nor Koni, who now live and feel good, just put it on themselves. Themselves. Pysy - respect to boots. Very nice site with old school. That's why we love. Nikons of course against this background #fuckers. And why they, too, are not shaken by this topic, for example, is not very clear to me.
