In short

GODOX X PRO C is a functional and convenient radio syncronizer. Suitable for Godox flashes with built-in radio. Supports E-TTL II auto mode as well as high-speed sync. Can work with a large number of groups and channels. Good decision for little money.

GODOX X PRO C

My experience

I worked with GODOX X PRO C and two flashes: Godox Thinklite TT350c и Godox ThinkLite TT685c, the setup does not take much time, everything works as expected.

I really like that all modern GODOX external flashes have a built-in radio synchronizer (after all?), And the system itself is well unified and it’s quite easy to figure it out.

Typically, these devices are bought by photographers who know exactly what they need. Previously, the choice of synchronizers that can do everything (TTL, HSS, etc.) was small, but now there are a number of functional solutions on the market. For me, the GODOX X PRO C is a good choice.

It will be great if in the comments the real users of GODOX X PRO C who use the synchronizer in different conditions unsubscribe.

IMHO the form factor godox x1t pro I like more.

  • Eugene

    Hello everybody.
I have been using this synchronizer and Godox flashes for about a year. Great thing, everyone is happy with me!

  • Johnny

I know several professional photographer who switched from Nikon to this system. Very praised. The Chinese did their best.

  • Alexander

I have been using it for about a year, the TT685s flash. Everything suits, quite convenient and easy to manage, the price is quite adequate. When I chose the flash, I looked towards the young, but the seller advised to pay attention to Godox, since there all the flashes in the lineup are equipped with a built-in radio synchronizer, from the simplest manual to studio and set on fire from one device. In Yangnou, it’s not so simple there, different models work with different synchronizers, so I took Godox and did not regret it))

  • Sergei

And I, in due time, bought yongnuo yn622 synchronizers for the original flashes, including the TX version, and now I use the available Godoxes with them. A? Profit!

  • Igor

I have godox x1t. I chose because of the price and the ability to fasten a flash on top (sometimes required).
Although, due to the larger screen, the PRO version looks more convenient.

    • Michael

It is not only more convenient, but also more functional in everything. The only shoe is not, but it is, for an amateur.

  • Alexander

Cool thing, I’ve been using the AD200 for a year,
Of the minuses, in the beginning there were problems with the backlight af, it works, then no, I did not find out the reason while working, the button lock also turns off when you exit sleep mode

    • anonym

It works only at the central point.

      • Alexander

No, at any point, the main thing is that the intersection of laser points falls into the desired point af

        • Alexander

Old 50k now instantly focuses in twilight

  • Novel

I use half a year in conjunction with two TT600 and one V860II.
A good thing. There was a problem with the backlight of the screen - it turned off. I gave it to repair a couple of times.
Apparently the defective option was caught, the seller reimbursed half the cost.
The downside for me is the power adjustment wheel. I will not get used to which direction is more, which is less. Moreover, it is not convenient. On the YN-560TX, controlling the power was more enjoyable.

    • Aleksandr

Tell me please, do tt600 work through it remotely?

    • Alexander

There is a flash without sync yn 500 ex
I'm thinking where to go in youngnuo vs
      Godox. Thank you

      • BB

I chose Yongnuo. They have compatibility issues: the 560TX system is incompatible with the 622.
Therefore, if you are working in the manual, I recommend YN560-Li (on popular 18650 batteries), if you also need TTL, then YN968 (C or N), or YN685. Synchronizer - Yn560-TX-Pro, if with TTL, or Yn-560-TX-II, if TTL is not needed. By the way, under Canon, Yongnuo is a little better (they update firmware more often, a little better with compatibility), under Nikon, a little worse. The 560 series has full backward compatibility with simple Yn-603 (603 will be triggered by any 560 series controllers if they are tuned to the same channel)

Godox has a slightly smaller zoo, and better compatibility with each other, but on average, Godox is noticeably more expensive (about one and a half times) than Yongnuo with the same characteristics.

  • anonym

are radio synchronizers suitable only for their own flashes, or is the protocol standard and compatible with flash from other manufacturers?

  • Alexey

There is no standard. More precisely, there is a closed Nikon. And there are a number of problems associated with this. In the case of working with Nikon (bunch of phot. D800 - xpro n transmitter - x1 n receiver - SB900 flash) these are:
    1. TTL transmitter lives its own life. For example, in the M camera mode, changing the ISO leads to a change in exposure - at ISO 100 - a slight overexposure (but within the histogram, without “knockout”), at ISO 800 - a very dark frame. The solution is to introduce a TTL correction in the transmitter. This, of course, is a complete trash compared to Nikon's perfect TTL.
    2. Remote power control on the transmitter (both TTL and M) is possible only in TTL flash mode (if the flash is in M, then power control is possible only on the flash itself). It is impossible to change - Western forums also write about this: https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4234164 https://www.dpreview.com/forums/thread/4206877
    3. The consequence of item 2 is that other Nikon's flashes cannot be set on fire through their light traps - they react to pre-flash TTLs and outpace the shutter of the apparatus. Solutions - either equip all flashes with x1n receivers, or switch each to M, SU-4 mode and run between them, adjusting the power, and the “fancy” transmitter acts as a simple starter, which can be bought much cheaper, or ... built-in receivers. But, they say, not everything is smooth with their management either ...
    4. Frequent failures when switching modes in the transmitter from M to TTL and vice versa - it seems to write "TTL", but in reality it figures with a fixed and unsuitable power. Solution: switched the mode, waited 3-4 seconds (!), Turned off / on (!!) the transmitter.
The real advantages of the transmitter: stable operation in M mode and the convenience of visual power control. So for street photography and in the studio you can use it. In a report that requires a reliable TTL master flash mode and 1-2 remote flashes for the background or counter, Nikon's CLS system cannot be replaced, the only pity is that its "range" is low ...

    • anonym

but you just need to abandon the overrated Nikon junk and switch to quality China. if both the transmitter and the Godox receivers, then everything works almost flawlessly.

      • Alexey

Nikon's "trash" has been working for me since 2012 faithfully. The native TTL is perfect. I read enough about Chinese flashes to stay on Nikon - I hate to fix or throw away equipment in 1-3 years. And there are glitches there too, it is known, for example, that the AD200 sometimes passes signals. Not a cheap flash.
As for the subject, he surprised me, to put it mildly. Things sometimes break themselves, but to be repaired by themselves ... In short, the last few days the system has been working not only without the aforementioned failures, but also pre-flashed TTL has ceased to affect the followers and they began to set fire to the light trap. Let's see how long ...

        • Oleg

Well, not even more ancient rubbish)))) completely switched to the Godox system and it's just very cool like day and night with junk from Nikon

    • Valery

Quite right, Alexey described the work of paragraphs 1 and 4 for. I have a Nikon d750, in the TTL mode the GODOX X PRO N transmitter does not behave adequately, when changing the ISO it works according to an incomprehensible algorithm. I changed the firmware, it did not help.

  • Anatoly

    Question about AF highlight efficiency:
How AF illuminator works in comparison with the Yongnuo YN-E3-RT II transmitter for Canon or in comparison with the illumination of Canon's native flash.

    • Alexey

Compared to the nikon d800 lamp or SB900 flash backlight, it works just as well.

  • Andrew

Tell me, on Canon cameras released before 2012, manual mode with slow shutter speeds, shorter than 1/250, works?

  • Adon

This synchronizer now costs UAH 1900, and the TT-350 flash costs UAH 2300. The flash has a built-in radio synchronizer and can be a master for other flashes.
So I’m thinking of taking puff as a synchronizer.
    Who thinks what?

  • Alexey

Guys, I have a question. Nikonovsky x-pro can I flash for Canon? Changing Nikon systems to Canon

  • Anatoly

    Good afternoon!

    I have a Nikon D700 camera and a Godox V860II-N + Xpro N kit.
The flash in the shoe works in all modes. But through the synchro, I encountered a problem that the synchro in the manual does not always respond to the descent of the camera and there is no puff. I did a flashing of the sync, but the problem persists. The distance is set to 0-30 m therefore with this all the rules.
Does anyone have experience with this kit and how to solve this problem?
Maybe just a marriage and you need to change the sync?

    Thank you.

  • Nicholas

Hello. Could you give a comparison of the synchronizers Godox XPro and Godox X2 (X1). Thanks!

  • Alexey

    Hello everyone,

I have 2 tt685c flashes and xpro-c synchronizer. I can’t understand how to make them work together in a group from this synchronizer.

  • Paul

Hello! Can the transmitter control simultaneously on-camera flashes (power adjustment from 1/128 to 1/1) and studio flashes (adjustment from 5.0 to 10.0) via XTR-16?
Does XPro have an adjustment mode from 5.0 to 10 in general?

  • Anton

Hello. The question is, how will a Nikon syncronizer work on a Pentax system? Will there be flash control? TTL and HSS are not necessary
