I would like to draw your attention to the peculiarity of the EOS R - EF / EF-S autofocus adapters.
I tried Viltrox EOS R - EF / EF-S adapter http://ali.pub/4l8z9m and my Canon EF-S 55-250 lens cannot be inserted there, since the interiors of this adapter are not made in the form of a circle (as it would be logical to do), but in the form of a rectangle with rounded sides, and the border of the rear lens of the lens behind the mount rests just in these straight sides above and below.
In this case, lenses with EF mount fit perfectly. I think Viltrox did it pretty well when they announced full compatibility with EF-S lenses. They even applied a white rectangle to the adapter, like Canon, but alas, it doesn’t help to insert the lens. I'll try to modify the file.
