What about 5-axis stabilization? The mirror will not interfere .. and how to combine the optical channel with the evi? Okay, they will make a carcass with a stub and a huge mirror the size of a kind in a medium format camera ... let's say they even shove an Evie into an optical one, or make 2 eyes, or make a mini-screen of an Evie slide back and make a standard optical viewfinder from below ... how much will this miracle cost? Five-axis stabilization has long been in the full-frame PENTAX K1 and works fine even without a huge mirror from the SF camera, the most common mirror.

To implement autofocus, electronic sensors are placed on the mirror of SLR cameras. These sensors measure the phases of rays emanating from a single point, but traveling in different ways inside the lens. If the phases coincide, the point is in focus; if not, then the distance to the object can be estimated from the phase difference and the lens refocused at this distance. For several successive approximations, you can more or less accurately focus the lens.
Phase detection autofocus is fast and allows you to track out of focus subjects. But the number of possible focusing points is limited by the number of phase sensors (maximum a few dozen), it is not very accurate in general and is prone to systematic errors in particular. Since the sensors are located on the mirror, and not on the sensor, phase detection autofocus can systematically err "forward" (front focus) or backward ("back focus"). This is corrected either by fine-tuning a specific lens on a specific camera, or (partially) by introducing a software correction, the parameters of which are set manually.
