Comments: 338, on the topic: Announcement of a mirrorless Nikon system with Z mount

  • Andrei

Nikon took a stupid step, and not his own, and it can be seen immediately. Anyone who understands who Nikon belongs to will immediately understand what's what. To enter the market with a fantastically ugly model and some three equally ugly and so far non-controversial lenses, sorry…. ... Well, and an adapter for bayanet F, because there are no other lenses. For the first time, the type buyer will manage it. What's the rush? If we look at the camera from all sides, it seems that Nikon's designers drank vodka and didn’t come up with anything along the way, but took and blinded the Z system, thanks to Leica SL. The first to "hang" at Leica's design is Fuji, model X-H1, and now Nikon. Or maybe just at the direction of the top, took a quick example of the design, stuck their branded pen to the Leica SL and got a type of their Z. Slowly and surely Nikon is sliding down. Soon something else will "hang down" again, and then they will start talking about how this is completely something new, which so far no one has had on the set.

    • anonym

You are angry today, probably tired.
Or not just today ... :)

    • Andrei

some kind of non-constructive criticism ... Then they slammed it, they stole it, about ugly - it's generally a subjective opinion, who likes a watermelon, and who likes a ponytail ...

    • A.N. Onim

The reaction in the Russian-language part of tyrnet to the announcement of any camera from Nikon:
      guano camera
Skinton is generally a nightmare - beets, carrots, cabbage on your face ...
      there was no color
ergonomics horror does not lie in the hand
      marketers Nikon fools
sky-high price, who will buy such a camera
small pixels again, I have 1000% zoom noise
over-priced lenses should be bought for this camera, because the old ones do not allow
a lot of sharpness, little sharpness
I thought this is the camera of my dreams, but no, so I’ll wait for another
Nikon is about to go bankrupt
      but the competitors ...

      • Daulet

The English-speaking Internet also speaks out harshly. Video with proofs of shitty autofocus is already there when approaching and moving away from the camera, more than half of the pictures are completely out of focus when using f lenses. Moreover, even with constant studio light, the focus goes to the ear or to the nose ... there, in general, with the adapter is still not okay. And in low light, you can forget about autofocus

      • Sergei

If you read in the context, and not pull out the necessary pieces, then that answer was erotic.
The answer to the fact that they already blame something that they did not see in the eyes, did not hold in their hands.

        • Onotole

          ... eronic ...

          "Ironic" or "erotic"?

    • Nikita

Hmm, apparently you understand cameras as I do in quantum physics. Nikon did her best, this camera has everything you need to get a gorgeous picture. The ability to shoot in backlight without losing color and contrast. High DD due to the increase in the mount, which takes the picture to a completely different level. And lenses, I doubt that you know how to use perspective with at least a 35mm lens, everything else that you said is unsupported nonsense

      • Onotole

A camera with the ability to shoot in a backlight, DD by increasing the bayonet ... Yes, you can see from a mile away - an expert.
I have no doubt that you can use perspective not only with a 35mm lens, but even 28mm lenses are obedient to you. And who knows, maybe even 24 mm ...
And everything you say is automatically recorded in the British and Soviet Encyclopedias, and is supported by links from there.

      • Daulet

Question. How does a hole in a bayonet actually have a hole improves dd? One photographer, on the assumption that this bayonet type preparation for the medium format, replied already that there needs a hole for 60mm and there will be a smaller hole. In fact, for the next 3 years, in addition to the obscure 3x native lenses, the user is invited to use the old lenses with an adapter. If the pro 0,95 lens is announced .. well, it's still funnier. Sony and a watering can with “small” holes already have the same manual lenses)) this is a nocturnus, a little cheaper than a nocturnus and a couple of Chinese 0,95 tipps of camlan and mitacon. There really is so-so at the edges, but the price is Chinese. Well, as it were. So what to buy if ff bzk? Sony with a huge, compared to Nikon, native park of optics, autofocus, including on the eye, a bunch of optics from third-party ones starting from Tamlanov sigma, ending with the Chinese, or is it with a big hole like in the case? 2 slots for sony, iso again sony, video well, like a host again, accessories and even Panasonic and fuji are better

  • Daulet

Hmm, definitely take a Sony ... autofocus on the eye ... what no park of native optics that would be another 12-24 without gi ... 330 frames on one battery versus 700 for a Sony, 1 slot although I somehow manage ...
Well, in fact, Nikon is more of an a7 of a series with 4k and a stub than a competitor a7 3. Regarding adapters, well, they won't be better than their native glasses for z because there are millions of them, but Nikon needs new lenses and money ... well, at least they could focus picking)) but waited thought maybe nikon will surprise at the same time the price tag is too high, to put it mildly

  • Slesar75

The design had to be done in the Nikon1 V3 style with a medium format fuja style viewfinder. For the crop, they would buy a license for the production of the Samsung NX500, NX1 bzk. And the adapters must always be included with the cameras + a spare battery. But this is Nikon, which, due to greed at the start of sales and the stupidity of marketers, pissed off the coolest Nikon Coolpix A and Nikon DF cameras. Which, at a reasonable price at the start of sales, would break the market and have already the third generation ...

    • kozigvl

      okay!

      • kozigvl

        I absolutely agree

    • Igor

Design fit. HERE you will see, all mirrorless mirrors will become exactly the same as now.
In these PLUS devices, it’s FX and immediately there is full support for F optics.
Having a fleet of optics can only update the carcass, and only then gradually upgrade the optics.

  • anonym

Even at the dawn of the introduction of mirrorless cameras into the masses, Sonya made it possible through adapters to hook almost any glass, manual (including rangefinder) and AF of many systems, and so far their crop and FF does not shun this possibility. Again, an abundance of adapters, both our own and third-party ones. Latest generation stabilization also helps. The old optics are very decent ... Another thing is the perspective of the matrices and the race of pixels ... Not every glass of course will solve it already. Nikon, while still on digital SLR cameras, was limited inside himself (with the same manuals with his lens adapter) ... But what now? ..
And Sony, in addition to the development of FF, also has a whole generation of crop protection systems behind it, this is also a large market segment. And I think soon in the fall we can expect more new products from them. In general, while Nikon has not surprised with innovations, perhaps they still have trump cards in their sleeves?

    • Michael

Well, who is afraid of the limitations within the system, go to Sonya and sit

      • Onotole

I would say - who is NOT afraid of the limitations within the system ... and further in the text

  • DmitryK

And what the hell in Nikon's new cameras pushing XQD flash drives?!?
This is the Sonievsky anal format at the same prices for flash drives. Nobody except Nikon puts this junk in the cameras.
Is Sonya so bent on Nikon that he is now forced to impose Sonya flash drives on people over price?

    • Arkady Shapoval

Z7 shoots at 8 frames per second RAW 14-bit, one rav file weighs about 90 MB, which gives us an average of 720 megabytes of data per second. Not a single CF or SD will pull it, even if theoretically now release SD with UHS-III.
Everything rests on the protocols. The theoretical write limit for the fastest SD on the USH-II bus is only 312 MB / S. There are no cards with UHS-III yet. And the fastest CF using the UDM-7 protocol will squeeze out no more than 167 MB / S, and its unsuccessful development of CFast can still produce 510 MB / S. Moreover, even if CFAST become popular, they are unlikely to become cheaper than XQD.
XQD can afford to issue 400 MB / s right now.
Therefore, the real choice from the manufacturer of more or less advanced cameras was, most likely, between XQD and CFast, XQD won.
By the way, I personally know photographers who were very happy with XQD after switching from CF, everything is much faster, especially when copying material to work computers with card readers on USB 3.0.

      • DmitryK

Arkady, have you seen the prices of 64GB XQD flash drives?

        • Arkady Shapoval

They were never cheap. But did you understand why XQD? I’ve looked at it if you shoot in TIFF, so in general the camera generates more than 1 GB of data in one second.

      • Vladimir

Strange people did not even use the camera, but already watered it with dirt. It is believed that these are paid comments from competitors.

        • anonym

Why only paid, are there still free fetishists of a particular brand who violently hate competitors. And also trolls who hate everyone.

        • DmitryK

I am not happy with these 3 (XNUMX) things:
          1) Funny battery for 300 (!) Frames.
          2) No adapter for screwdriver glass for Z6.
          3) XQD flash drives, which place in D5 / D5s / D6, etc.
Vladimir, where money is given out "for pouring mud" on Nikon's new cameras, tell me pliz.
Perhaps I’ll dial it on 5DMK4 or what the hell is not joking on 1DMK2.
Seriously, I have several cameras now in constant use, including FF Nikon.

      • A.N. Onim

“By the way, I personally know photographers who were very happy with XQD after switching from CF, everything is much faster ...”
We are not familiar, but XQD after CF is generally a song! From a modest figure of 30-32 frames in a series on D3s, up to 200 on the d500!

  • BB

Lens coating likely to be Fluorine (meaning 'fluorine'), not recyclable

$ 3400 per carcass? Mirrorless, but the size of a reflex?

    1111111111

    • anonym

Yesterday there were five, but large, and today, small, but three ...
      The same as delirium :)

  • Peter Sh.

Oh, if it weren’t pushed into the matrix, but some 30x30mm, I would have signed up first.

    • Onotole

And what's the point? The crop factor would remain the same.
In fact, I'm sure that all this is preparation for the SF. This is the only reasonable explanation. Then it is clear why the lenses are so hefty and why the bayonet had to be reamed. And now - while running in the UPC technologies. "I practice…". "Train out - on cats!"

      • Peter Sh.

There's a meaning. This is a different format. More than FF, but with the same lenses. And here and there you don’t need to rotate the camera

        • Onotole

Relatively more, not more is judged by the diagonal of the frame - and in your example it will be 1mm less than that of a standard FF.
I did not understand about turning back and forth at all, what it means and how it is connected with the crop factor.

          • Peter Sh

Each photographer judges relatively more or not more independently and based on their experience and preferences. Here and there it’s elementary to twirl the frame. What is not clear here?

            • Onotole

Ahhh, well then my D7000 is much larger than any FF, and almost the same as a film medium format. This is my experience and preferences tell me.

  • Alexander

Nikon caught up and repeated Sony a year later. Prices are similar.
Waited for at least 100 megapixels? 30 frames per second? 1 TB of memory? Well, all that competitors multiplied by 10 times.
No one held it in their hands and had no opportunity to compare it with the A7, but they whined according to the principle - I don't know, but I condemn.
However, how did Nikon overtake the Sony A7 III and A7R III?
Bayonet gentlemen, bayonet. He is. Under the index Z.
This means more light on the matrix, color depth, dynamic range, ISO, new depth of field features, and much more.
And a hint of the possibility in the future of a medium format camera.

    • Onotole

And I naively thought that more light on the matrix means overexposure))))
And “color depth, dynamic range, ISO, new possibilities of depth of field, and much more” is the size of the matrix, not the mount.

And, by the way, this also means that Nikon is now trying to sell crop (relative to the SF, of course) cameras with necrop lenses, which, in general, is also non-kosher and a reason for whining. In the coming years, there will be no SF - because there will be no “fifty dollars” for it, the focal point of which should be in the region of 65-75 mm. The current 50mm is not a channel, because it will become “35th”, and 35mm, in turn, will be the 28th. Which in itself, in principle, is not so bad.

    • Hleb

And you know, personally, I am not interested in the “future” with a perspective even in 3-4 years.
It’s too early to sing songs to the Z system, and yes, real comparisons of PICTURES will appear very soon and this will show Hu is Who.

    • varezhkin

+1 also flashed thoughts under the medium format. Surely this is possible, albeit without a stable matrix.

  • Sergei

By the way, on one resource it was written that noct 50 / 0,95 will be with manual focus and cost under 6k green. A small plus of the adapter is that now different stabless lenses with their own motor will have a stub in the camera, such as 24-70 / 2,8, and the last fixes are like 24-35-50-85 with holes 1.8 and 1.4 and ... that's all))) With telephones it is worse - either there is already a stub or a screwdriver. Eh ... how great it would have been if the two-ring 80-200 / 2,8 had autofocus and stabilizer on Z cameras ... dreams-dreams))

  • Igor

And I like the design. After the DSLR, I’m not headless to break on a bunch of wheels.
If the menu is not too confusing, then it will be absolutely fine.

    • Onotole

And a soap dish or a phone is even better: there is essentially only one release button, there are no wheels at all. Well, except that the soap dishes have a wheel with modes: "pet portrait", "indoor party", etc. - there you will not need to break your head at all.

    • anonym

The main design issues are atavisms in the form of AUTO and P modes on the wheel. Those to whom they are intended have long been shooting on a smartphone. And the rest is normal.

      • Vladimir

These "atavisms" are designed not for those who buy these cameras, but for their family members and friends with friends who can take a photographer and somehow take a normal shot, so let it be a car, the camera won't get any worse from this, but others may come in handy, of course, no one will buy this camera and shoot in a car)))

        • anonym

For friends, the Auto mode can be left in the menu, and on the disk it is better to add items for presets.

  • anonym

With such a large bayonet mount, it was necessary to make the case large in height, and then, like the nex's crap.

    • anonym

Well, here the handle is larger in height than the A7. And yes, a more ergonomic body would suit me the same.

  • maugli

Thoughts on the SF matrix in the Nikon Z system: suppose Nikon installs a 33x44 Sonic matrix. This matrix is in Fuji mirrorless, Haselblad and Pentax DSLRs. Let's see what lenses companies have under the 33x44 matrix.
    GFX
    23/4
    45/2.8
    63/2.8
    110/2
    645
    25/4
    35/3.5
    45/2.8
    55/2.8
    75/2.8
    90/2.8
    X1D
    21/4
    30/3.5
    45/3.5
    90/3.2
    120/3.5
All of these lenses have one thing in common: they are relatively dark. Against this background, I hardly believe that Nikon invented a 50 / 0.95 covering matrix 33x44.

    • A.N. Onim

On the SF, all lenses are darker than a relatively narrow frame, but this does not bother anyone to take beautiful photos.

  • anonym

Fujifilm x-h1 and Panasonic g9 bodies are similar in style, but they are beautiful, and Nikon z is gobble.

    • Slesar75

Beautiful this is Sigma SD Quattro H

By the way, the top Z takes 10-15 minutes of video on a single charge))) in YouTube, the photographers withdraw pre-orders on the video for the d850 is enough for the photo and this was expected as a photo with a bonus to the video

  • ZI ZI TOP

Yeah .., the video is still their weak side, this is traditionally Sonya's strong point. And ergonomics and external design are relative things, taste and color ... A battery grip will not save? indicative ... Or Nikon is shy ... :)

  • ZI ZI TOP

In general, there is a general tendency to deviate from one of the principles originally laid down in mirrorless cameras - a decrease in size ... This is especially noticeable in FF. (“No matter how many times we sculpted a figure, a brick comes out anyway”) It is clear, of course, that there are some technological reasons and limitations - it is impossible to shove something that is not pushed in ... :)
Not everyone expected the complete Ideal, but still ...

    • Michael

Compactness depends on the size of the matrix, and not on the lack of a mirror. As it was 100-400, so it will remain, if you do not reduce the size and increase the EGF

      • Onotole

And in these conditions, the desire to make the camera small (so that the little finger does not fit on the handle) and light (so that the battery can produce more than 350 frames) is completely incomprehensible.

      • anonym

But what about a watering can quite compact system

  • Sergei

    24-70 / 4 in other places indicated 7 petals, not 9

    • Arkady Shapoval

      fixed.

  • Vladimir

Here everyone scolds Nikon Z, but I liked the camera, at least not the first glance.
As for me, Nikon did everything right, having miscalculated with the Nikon 1 system, they took into account the mistakes and did exactly what had to be done, because in the company's management are not idiots and they know what they are doing. Ores of frantic Sony fans, I understand perfectly well that while they are pouring mud, it’s clear that the system is still green, it’s not run-in and will have childhood illnesses, but it’s a bad start, it will take a little while, as it seems to me, the Sony camp company and fans will get nervous and understand that they have a serious competitor and they have to step aside and share the market with another strong competitor, and Nikon is a strong company with a good design bureau and with decades of proven technology.
Design, of course, is not aerobatics, but pretty good, the designer himself and I know what I'm talking about.
It’s just great that they kept the control system traditional for the system and created an excellent adapter between FZ mounts, which will make the transition from a mirror system to a non-mirror system as painless as possible for a photographer with an optical park under the F mount. Moreover, due to the unification of all equipment, one photographer can be the owner of the cameras two systems at once, and this is just wonderful! This is a decent cost savings, but for now they are expensive, but later the prices will drop and more budget models of this system will come out, the video quality will increase, and then Sony will scream)))

    • Arkady Shapoval

The adapter, unfortunately, is truncated. Perhaps one more will come out, or the Chinese will.

      • Vladimir

And what is it cut down? Do not know. It seems that af (AS-S) works, stabilization on the lenses, they say, acts with a stabilizer on the matrix in pair, the information from the lens on the focusing distance also, presumably, conveys, the diaphragm mechanics also seem to be present (you can see it)), which is not enough then? what did you forget about?)

        • Michael

About a screwdriver and very old AF lenses

          • varezhkin

perhaps this is unrealistic with a huge new hollow mount. at first glance, this is the most correct thing that they could sacrifice so that everything else is compatible.

          • Arkady Shapoval

Well, what are the ancients. Enough lenses that are still relevant, for example, they appear on the official website how completely affordable to buy new:

            AF Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f / 2.8D ED
AF Nikkor 14mm f / 2.8D ED (no replacement with built-in focus motor)
            AF Nikkor 20mm f / 2.8D
            AF Nikkor 24mm f / 2.8D
            AF Nikkor 28mm f / 2.8D
            AF Nikkor 50mm f / 1.4D
            AF Nikkor 50mm f / 1.8D
            AF DC-Nikkor 105mm f / 2D (no replacement with built-in focus motor)
            AF DC-Nikkor 135mm f / 2D (no replacement with built-in focus motor)
            AF Nikkor 180mm f / 2.8D IF-ED (no replacement with built-in focus motor)
            AF Micro-Nikkor 60mm f / 2.8D
            AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm f / 4D IF-ED (no replacement with built-in focus motor)
            AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f / 2.8G ED (no replacement with built-in focus motor)
            AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f / 2.8D (no replacement with built-in focus motor)

            • Michael

Well, given that they appeared a long time ago, the lenses are still old. Although some of them are not replaced, the truth.

        • Arkady Shapoval

AF type optics are not supported.

          • Dmitriy

Looking at the adapter, a question arose about the functionality of such a “box” at the bottom of it ?! The mechanism of "screwdriver" will fit there successfully

            • Onotole

The diaphragm pusher is successfully placed there. I did not make out, but something tells me that this mechanism occupies all the free space there.

              • Dmitriy

Isn't the aperture in the lens?

              • Dmitriy

Electromagnetic diaphragm control (c) This means that there are no mechanical "pushers"

              • Onotole

What else is electromagnetic? At least read the subject of discussion before arguing.
The adapter is used to attach the previous AF-S lenses, including G series, which does not have an electromagnetic diaphragm, only the E series has it.

              • Dmitriy

Dear, you would look closely at the adapter. If everything is in order with your eyesight, then most likely you will see a protrusion on the left at 8 o'clock just for the diaphragm pusher mechanism. I was talking about the lower part. You got in and accused me of something. Judging by all your comments, there is a plug in every barrel. Discussion with you is "counter-productive"

              • Onotole

                Writing correctly is “counterproductive”.

In the lower part, there is just the mechanism that controls the foot, which you see for 8 hours. If you have a head

            • Arkady Shapoval

The box is a tripod socket, plus, the same diaphragm cocking also requires several mechanisms.

              • Dmitriy

Modern electro-mechanical actuators are very compact in size with sufficient engine power. Example: drone, etc. In lenses 15 years ago (as an example Canon 18-55) there were (are still being installed) plastic gearboxes with relatively compact motors. It's the same story with Nikon. Nikon, for its own reasons, simply did not want (or left room for a “step forward”) to insert a “screwdriver” into the adapter. I have 60 2,8D, 80-200 2,8D, 85 1,8D, so this question is relevant for me.

              • Arkady Shapoval

This question is relevant for many.

          • Vladimir

Yes, many screwdriver lenses are still available today, but as far as I know, almost all of them are D series with aperture control ring, and they were also developed for camera cameras and during the transition from film to digital, and those lenses are not able to resolve sharpness modern, multi-pixel arrays, and therefore there is no point in a screwdriver, well, who will buy cameras for that kind of money and shoot on ancient optics, even if it’s still being produced. in the mirrors, but the screwdriver is relevant, but there it is already atavism. And D lenses are produced, in my opinion, for fans of old film cameras, I don’t see any other sense, because there are not a few people who still shoot on semi-manual film Nikons, and not everyone agrees to use B \ optics. and buy even for a modern SLR AF 50mm f1.8D in the presence of AF-S 50mm f1.8G while it’s not much and more expensive, I don’t see any sense, so I’ll not put AF 50mm f1.8D on Nikon Z7 ))) except that only the one who sold the kidney and who did not have more money left for optics))) For me, who lives in the region, with an average salary of 20k rubles. it's just a lot of money (
Is there someone who is looking at new cameras, modern technologies, while some people still shoot on the D90? Nikkor 35mm DX and "film" Nikkoh 70-210mm F4) Yes, for me, even the D750 is at the level of fiction, and there the people of Z7 are criticized, damn it boiled)

            • Onotole

They wrote a whole bunch of nonsense.
Firstly, I can easily name several screwdriver lenses at once, which (a) have been produced since film times and still, (b) they have no analogues among AF-S, (c) they can easily resolve a 24-megapixel matrix.
Secondly, whether they will be able to resolve my megapixels or not - this is not their business. As a photographer, I decide if I need 24 or 36 or 45 megapixels, or enough for my eyes and 6.
Thirdly, in general, everything is far from being limited by resolution. What about the created picture?
Fourth, what is a semi-human lens?
Fifthly, 50 / 1.8D is probably not worth putting on the Z7, but what about 85 / 1,4D? DC135 / 2,0D? 16 / 2,8D Fisheye? 200/4 Micro? etc. etc. Do you have any idea what level of glass it is ??? It will take at least another 20 years before they just BEGIN to become obsolete.
Sixth, if someone still drives a Moskvich or Volga (it should be noted, not from a good life, as a rule) without the design of seat belts, does this mean that you can easily forgive the new Volkswagen for non-deployed airbags and TBI instead of a slight fright? ? Nuacho, why chmorit new technologies because for a hypothetical Vladimir, even ordinary belts are already at the level of fantasy.

              • Arkady Shapoval

                All true.

              • Vladimir

Yes, who argues that) Why there’s nothing at once, I can only judge by two inexpensive D lenses that I had the pleasure of shooting, and I know that it’s full of good optics with a screwdriver, but nonetheless I agree with the brand on this issue, and I emphasize that I always liked Nikon, including for its support for Sarah Optics! But here it seems to me that a screwdriver is unnecessary, and if it really hurts, it’s not for me to focus on the crowbar manually even in the report, but it’s wonderful with a screwdriver, but I used AF optics quite comfortably even without a screwdriver))

              • Vladimir

"Fourth, what is a semi-human lens?" I was talking there about the fact that the company continues to produce old optics for people using old cameras (like Nikon FG? I called it semi-human) it does not have AF at all)))

            • Arkady Shapoval

As for the resolution - almost all of these lenses are miraculously digested by 24 megapixel sensors, and the same 200/4 macro is generally one of the sharpest lenses of all times and peoples. About resolving old d-fixes - more of a bike than the truth.

    • anonym

I largely agree with your comment. Design + - like all mirrorless people, I personally would like a case like the d7200.
Well, the second slot, if in the studio version it is not important, then in the universal it was necessary to do, at least SD.

    • Slesar75

“It's just great that they have retained the traditional control of the system and created an excellent adapter between FZ mounts, which will make the transition from a mirror to a non-mirror system as painless as possible for a photographer with a fleet of F-mount optics. Moreover, thanks to the unification of all equipment, one photographer can own cameras of two systems at once, which is just wonderful! "

The same was said about the Canon EOS M, but not destiny ...

  • ZI ZI TOP

And according to you, Sonya will be waiting ... Who did not have time - he was late ... :)) Although she herself is far from so perfect ...: ((

  • ZI ZI TOP

So that we can do everything without the Chinese ... :))))

  • Alexey

A new era is coming from Nikon, and do not be indignant, but this is the future.

    • anonym

This is already real ... :)

      • Alexey

Not yet. This will become true when the capabilities of the new mount are realized, and the production of photographic equipment with mount F is discontinued

        • Vladimir

It will not be discontinued in the next 70 years))) until those who enter the world of photography through film and digital SLRs with a F mount mount) die physically) I personally, even having switched to the Z system (if this happens at all), then I won’t refuse DSLRs anyway and I will use two systems on equal terms

  • varezhkin

    About AF sensitivity:
Z6: -1 to +19 EV (-4 to +19 EV with AF in low light)

Z7: -1 to +19 EV (-4 to +19 EV with AF in low light)

  • Nikonists are a sect

    NO 2 slots.
Battery for 330-350 shots in total
    No focus on the eyes.
What the devil NIKON _ ??? WHY it was impossible to look at the A7III and make a similar camera ????
Why did you have to step on the Sony rake 6 years ago, when the battery there was enough for 400 shots and there were no 2 slots ????

    • ZI ZI TOP

It looks like you'll have to stock up on batteries and wear them like machine-gun belts crosswise ... :)) It's a joke.
Perhaps the Battery Grip (pack) will cling to the carcass, while improving grip, but increasing weight and dimensions. Or is it possible that external powerful batteries are connected via a cable connector? ..

      • Onotole

What do you mean - "possible"? A battery grip has already been announced, it will have 2 EN-EL15 batteries, and that's it - neither an acceleration of the shooting speed, nor a second memory card will appear.

        • anonym

And it seems like there is also an adapter in the form of a papillon with router functionality, for transferring photos to a computer over the air ...

    • Dmitriy

Well, the camera is not developed in a few weeks, and therefore stepped on a rake)

  • nikop

Autofocus is bad and problems with control are already described in the preview.

    • Michael

Yes, and the dimensions are small, not grasping ... Fuuh, it's easy - you can continue to shoot on D40)))
