Well, with a new shade of the body, the Canonists will heal now - so they will heal! :) This is exactly what photographers around the world have been waiting for for several years (since the release of version II).

It's amazing how quickly the world is changing just 2-3 years ago, everyone scolded Nikon for everything, from bad video and green skin, to oil on the matrix and a total lack of progress in their products. And they extolled 5D3 and L-glass windows. And today - Nikon does things like the D850, D500 and 105 / 1,4E. And Canon - now a 4K video with a wild crop, now - changed the paint supplier, hung the price tag 400 bucks higher and gave the world a new lens.
And no one knows what will happen tomorrow. Maybe Sonya, for a company with Fujik and Panas, will make it so that in general all these DSLRs of yours will remain out of work and will remain in use only with hipsters and other retrogrades, just like the film technique now.

And "tomorrow" Nikon and Canon will release full-frame mirrorless cameras, but it's too late.

        Already released :)

Tested 3 copies of the EF 70-200/2,8 L IS USM III in three different photo shops in Cologne: "Calumet", "Media-Markt" and "Saturn". Everywhere the same feature of this version: the most disgusting stabilizer. It works as if it doesn't exist at all. Even more disgusting was the reaction of the snobs from Calumet to my remark: I was immediately thrown out the door. But ... the fact remains - the stub is incomparably disgusting compared to the second version. Do not try to buy Canon without a thorough check! The same applies to the EF 70-200/4 L IS USM III. Shit! Just shit. Unsharp. I don’t know where this shit is collected, but it seems to me that here (in Almaniyade (the Turks call their colony “Apple” (country)) an underground production of this shit (impudently) has been established), otherwise you can’t explain this “quality” in any way.
I have been shooting (and simultaneously testing all the optics) since 1977, and these underground shits will never be able to fool me with their slippery sayings of various types, significant pauses (with important puffing out of the cheeks), etc. and so on. So that's it. Watch out! And respect your money, do not pay without the most thorough tests right in the store. Remember: hucksters are always in cahoots with criminals, as they share with them. Here, try to find the second version of this zoom!?! That's it!

it's just to immediately switch to the Canon 70-200 / 2.8 L IS USM RF

Thank you very much for your guess answer. I don’t know, Arkady, I’m looking at this new miracle, and I’m already thinking about whether to start a project with an attempt to turn the RF / EF into the return line using the “reverse” adapter, even unplanned for sale. Since I already saw one RF 1700-70 / 200 L IS USM sample in Saturn for 2,8 the other day, the original price of 2440 is crossed out, which also makes me sad: it’s not without reason that they won’t collapse the price for no reason. But I honestly liked the 28-300 / 4,5-5,6 (they also sold out, but for some reason they didn’t sell it): sharp on the whole strike, especially at 300. At its price of 2400, they dropped it to 1650. But ... the trombone. Vacuuming.
And I still haven’t bought anything for myself yet, I keep looking, meanwhile, the Germans in the chains set new prices today, on average by + 25%. The last normal zoom EF 70-200/4 L IS USM was sold either yesterday or today at Eislingen Media Markt. I wanted to grab it, but it's already gone. Now it costs not 887, but 1440 (…). The new version costs not 1440, but 1700. The standard zoom 24+105/4 L IS USM II costs not 1050, but 1450. Prices were set by Canon.de in NRW. And so, I think that the fix EF 300/4 L IS USM is better to take than this It, no - zoom. I'm afraid to take it from my hands, the people here are very cunning, in the main mass, to throw it with a “dark surprise”, to save money at someone else's expense, this is considered a sign of valor. Otherwise, it's a pretty nice and reserved town, and if you eat chocolate from the local shock factory thrown away and left on the benches by snobs, life in general seems to be very, very good. I wish you the same, dear Arkady, and all the photo-enthusiast readers of your wonderful site. I have been reading it since 2012, it is a very real, useful, instructive site. Thank you all. Success and prosperity! Cultural first.
        Best regards,
        Alex.
