But seriously, the thing should be practical. Even on white lenses, the control rings are black. Few people want to “die with a rag” with a camera.
And white inscriptions on black are better read than vice versa in the dark, in the sun.

In gilding and leather were Nikon FA, Pentax LX.
Sigma SD1 in a polished wooden case. Leica was like with rhinestones.

I think yes. From this the camera does not glare, it becomes less noticeable. And invisibility is our everything.
I don't know about Rodchenko. And so I constantly observe self-portraits of photographers in reflected objects, already as the game has become - find a black sheep, in ridiculous (for shooting) clothes, sometimes you can even see a closed grimace. And with colored carcasses, it will generally be like a marker marked points :)
We talked a little about the color of the devices. And then everything - bokeh, pixels, glass .. Still, the variety in the world is more interesting than ... I would like to see the color viridone green or cobalt blue.
I bought myself a second version not so long ago, and after half a year of use, I sold it. What I liked: the ability to drain photos via wifi, convenient enough arm buttons, not too big a case. Now about the minuses: there’s simply no battery, the autofocus illumination of the people is closed once or twice by sigma lenses, consider it not, the autofocus illumination on the flash does not work (even on the original one) all the pictures have a grayish tint, I would say a very vivid metallic color. All this, of course, refers exclusively to the second version and is a subjective opinion.
