In short

QUANTARAY TECH-10 NF AF MULTI-COATED 1: 4-5.6 f = 75-300mm is a renamed Sigma DL ZOOM 75-300mm 1: 4-5.6 lens... On the review, I visited QUANTARAY TECH-10 NF AF MULTI-COATED 1: 4-5.6 f = 75-300mm for Nikon cameras, in a shabby condition, with erased identifiers (name, depth of field scale, etc.). Optically weak (very weak in the 200-300 range).

This is the cheapest autofocus telephoto lens for full-length cameras that I have had to shoot. At the time of writing, a review of the store www.fotika.com.uawho provided the lens for testing, sold it for $ 50.

QUANTARAY TECH-10 NF AF MULTI-COATED 1: 4-5.6 f = 75-300mm is an old telephoto zoom lens for film cameras with a PUSH-PULL design with a separate focusing ring, long out of production. Well assembled, with a metal bayonet and a separate window for the focusing distance scale, weighty, the focusing ring and piston are rubberized, has an 8-blade diaphragm (the petals are not rounded). During focusing, the lens barrel rotates and extends forward with the lens barrel. Focus ring rotates 180 degrees. When the focal length is changed, the rear lens moves in the middle of the body frame. The piston on the sample from the review is tight and does not lengthen on its own. A good feature is the ability to shoot macro with a magnification of 1: 4 at a 300 mm focal length, the MDF over the entire range is 1.5 meters. For this reason, the prefix 'Macro' is often added to the lens name. The variant for Nikon cameras has a plastic aperture control ring, but lacks a built-in focus motor, does not know how to transfer the focusing distance to the subject to the camera and does not have a focus mode switch. Focusing speed is slow (closer to medium). During autofocus, the focus ring rotates and must not be touched. Focusing problems, including Live View, on the camera Nikon D90 does not have. When changing the focal length, focusing accuracy is lost; during focusing, there is a strong 'Focus Breathing' effect. In general, in terms of work and management, nothing special is different from many such lenses.

Externally, mechanically and optically, the QUANTARAY TECH-10 NF AF MULTI-COATED 1: 4-5.6 f = 75-300mm resembles a lens Sigma Zoom AF-APO 1: 4.5-5.6 f = 75-300mm multi-coated Macro, which was already in my review, and therefore I will not do a detailed review on QUANTARAY TECH-10 NF AF MULTI-COATED 1: 4-5.6 f = 75-300mm.

The lens is cheap, and the photos were great!

Yes, Arkady’s pictures often reflect the skills of the photographer rather than the lens.
He and the hole with the hole will remove what-thread)))

without detracting from the author’s skills, I want to say that in sunny weather you can give a more or less decent result for anything. It would be possible to lay out a couple of unsuccessful photos (in the range of 200-300 for example)

  • Dmitry K

I will add: on 300mm the photos are laid out, but quite tolerable, both for a personal archive, so generally excellent.
