This review shows the I96U-N-22-3,5 / 50 lens with the serial number N8105 and the logo of the Feodosia Optical Plant.
I did not find any significant differences between I96U-N-22-3,5 / 50 (from this review) and I96U-3.5 / 50 with the logo of the Feodosia Optical Plant. Lenses differ only in trifles:
- slightly different frame
- enlightenment is a little different
Most likely the prefix 'H-22'means a new method of applying enlightenment to the objective lenses, i.e. it's simple Нova enlightenment. Who has other data or opinions on this issue, please leave them in the comments to this review. There is still a similar lens'I96U 3,5 / 50 H-22', produced by NPO Optika, Moscow.
Sample Photos
On camera Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi (aka Canon EOS DIGITAL 450D, aka Canon EOS Kiss) I used a lens with two adapters: M42-Canon EOS + M39-M42. Some photos were taken using macro ring M42 different thickness.
I96U-N-22-3,5 / 50 does not have a focusing ring. It is impossible to focus using this lens in the usual sense of the word. The lens is always focused on a certain distance. Focusing is very convenient when moving the camera to or from the subject. It is very convenient to use I96U-N-22-3,5 / 50 s macro rings different thicknesses, which allows you to change the focusing distance and magnification.

Use with modern cameras
Lenses with an M39 mounting thread (for enlargers, M39 X 1 / 28.8), such as the lens from this review, are very easy to use on modern cameras, just select correct adapter. On lens reflex cameras can only work in macro mode (shoot small objects with a short focusing distance). On mirrorless cameras, it will be possible to achieve focus on infinity. The cheapest adapters can be found aliexpress.com.
For use on modern digital SLR cameras Canon EOS need M39-Canon EOS adapter, you can buy such an adapter (adapter) here. Also, an adapter M39-Canon EOS can be easily replaced with two adapters: M42-Canon EOS + M39-M42. In any case, the lens will always be focused at close distances.
An adapter is required for use on Nikon SLR cameras M39-Nikon F, you can buy such an adapter (adapter) without a lens and a chip here. Also, one adapter M39-Nikon F can be easily replaced with two adapters: M42-Nikon F + M39-M42. In any case, the lens will always be focused at close range.
For such a lens, I advise you to additionally buy macro rings with M42 thread, for example here.
How to use this lens with cameras of other systems (Pentax, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung, Sigma etc.) - ask in the comments and you will be prompted. If you have any questions on compatibility and adapters, ask in the comments (comments do not require any registration at all, any user can add a comment).

And 50 more interesting, thanks for the dinosaur, at first I thought that she was not alive. Such a lens needs to be issued in photo schools and asked to take something off and show!
ABOUT! Another "proboscis"!))

Just think - this photo is on I-96, Karl!
No Charles need to be dragged here. Arkady, we got great pictures.
Yes, this is a joke about Karl :)
Great review and photo! Thank you Arkady! Something tells me that you can take good pictures even on a bottle of beer))
Thank you, comments on the photos enlivened the article :)
His bokeh is not very good. And chromatite on an open diaphragm. Again, soap. Perhaps the Lytkarinsky plant will be better.
I found the same at home. Serial number 8107. And you have 8105, you have to!
I put one on the canon550D (I assembled it from improvised means - a socket for it from a photographic enlarger and a standard bayonet plug, an adapter for it - it also turned out to be a macro ring to the heap)
and ofigel
Here is an example
