  • Lynx

    The breakthrough was at x100.
Electronic shutter, hi rolling shutter even on 1/8000! )))
Our super duper focuser is awesome fast *

    * - compared to the first mirrorless
    ....
Tests will show. But in general, I don't really believe in it.

Ergonomics is only very good, yes.

    • Arkady Shapoval

There is also a mechanical shutter at 1/8000 s, and a new anti-distorsion shutter to help (I don’t know, however, how much it looks like a global shutter).
But the focusing system already needs to be tested in real conditions.

      • lynx

Yes, almost everywhere on the professional equipment 1/8000 of the mechanical shutter is the norm.
and all the positioning of Sony is reduced to the "alleged advantage of electronic." Including tracking focus. it is scary to imagine what the Rollshatter will do on tracking focusing with moving objects.

    • Vladimir

I looked at its back wall ... Ergonomics there is not even close to the professional camera.

      • lynx

        Well, there is a joystick.
Of course not D5, but still.

  • DonSleza4e

If Nikon (first of all) and Canon do not move, then ...

    Sony sets new standards

    • lynx

yeah. I see professional reporters not with D4 but with Sony. )))

      • DonSleza4e

Well, let them continue to produce regular brands with a small number of changes)) Let's see what happens in 5 years)

        • lynx

Let's start with the fact that d4 is Nikon.
and 70% of all filmmakers are sitting on the canon, and all the endless “we let the mega-mega go” as a rule break into the trash about the lack of support, expensive and fragile accessories, and their eternal throwing from side to side. already 30-40 years ago.

The photo market is determined not only by the number of cameras sold.

          • DonSleza4e

I know that q4 is nikon) Just under “Mark” there was a collective concept of a family of cameras of the same price category from one manufacturer (one of which is older, and the second one that came to replace it)

my heart belongs to Nikon, and I really hope that the leaders will respond with decent d850 and d760 with very worthy characteristics, and not a minor update.

            • lynx

d760 ?? Lord, why? no, I understand that fans of the D600 finally have a camera that the D600 was supposed to be from the very beginning 5 years ago, but now ...
And there’s nothing to improve in 750tke, except for the minor.

          • Sven

            That's right!
Sony, it's always “cool”, expensive, brittle and short-lived. Be it players, laptops - I personally had an experience here.

            • Maugli

No need for players! W252 - seven years old, normal flight!

            • Vladimir

disagree muses. A CENTER WITH 2 I CARTRIDGES AND 3 DISCS ON BOARD WORKS UNTIL THE TIME (about 15 years), the Vidic 80 model is the same, and the cassettes did not even crumble, etc.

            • Paul

It is good to hang noodles. I have been running since 2012 with alpha-77 - and I have a high-quality video for 2017, both oil-and-oil pictures and ergonomics. And all this is under the eternal shit on a shovel from the kids, who are not on the device, but on letters and brands - "kenooon, nikooon". =) Alpha 77 at one time in its budget segment wiped its nose to every single competitor. Your accessories are there, your shoe ... yes. But these are trifles.

            • anonym

              "Cool, expensive, brittle, short-lived"
Man, my shutter refused on my A7 here, but there are a few facts:
              - Compared to brands, it looks like a typical soap dish
              - Fullframe with 5 fps and modern equipment for 60.000 (2014)
              - The main board burned out for 300k frames, replacement is free of charge, 10 days.
              - The shutter refused at 500k frames
              So all items are past.

  • Gonzaga

The breakthrough came when Sony released the first and so far the only mirrorless fullframe. Now they just finish the system. She will slowly but surely squeeze competitors from this clearing. All of these cx, 4/3, aps-c are doomed. And Nikon sawed the diaphragm rheostat together with the battery pack. Well done, in a word. Just handsome.

    • Oleg

Sony still remains a very very expensive system, native lenses are just at affordable prices. I think no one in the near future will not be able to make a full frame more accessible, it is simply not profitable for manufacturers.

      • Igor

Native glass is expensive, no doubt, if we are talking about hares, but at the same time I can screw ANYWHERE ANY glass on my Sony A7R. Those. Anything at all. And after several years of using system cameras, it is very difficult for me to use DSLRs. Especially annoying is the constant jump-jump to view the result, when in the mirrorless mirror I control everything without looking up from the viewfinder.

        • Vladimir

I agree I myself have a 6000 model, any glass through an adapter and everything is super + picking and a zebra. it’s easy to get stuck even for those who have poor eyesight

    • lynx

with their prices and kosyachnost, all who are interested in them are rich video-writers.
In general, Sony needs to stop making faces and release a normal video camera on the FF, in the Kiev-88 form factor.

    • Oleg

Therefore, the APS-C will most likely stand, no one will just merge a set of cameras from: 1200d to 7d and a range of focal lengths from 10 to 250mm. All this occupies its own niche and brings profit to the manufacturer. As well as stand and SLR. Only one of the A7 models costs a couple of hundred cheaper than the Kenon or Nikon full frames; all the others cost at least no less. At the same time, the lenses for it are: expensive, heavy and inferior to mirrored in focusing speed, unless of course you buy a Sony a7 for helios-44-2 or jupiter37a, for which a Kenon crop will suffice. Add an even smaller amount of battery. There is simply no advantage in essence: not for price, not for compactness, not focusing speed, not battery power. But for videographers, as Lynx writes, it’s completely nothing: A7 plus a couple of three manual Samyangs

    • zengarden

      > the first and so far only mirrorless fullframe
      Leica at a loss :)

    • Bobanka

Olympus remembered))) And nothing that the old oliki are still inaccessible, often optically, etc.))) Their Top about somehow no one has pushed. Those 10-12 megs that can still be bought will be enough for people for many years to come. Do not compare reportage monsters with ordinary CAMERAS for ordinary amateur photographers. And we don’t worry about who has pushed who in there - in 5 years all this will already seem like wood. Everything

  • lynx

5300 euros, not counting the prices of blunt, expensive and huge lenses.
    We disagree, Pasans.
Although, if you can put Jupiter-37MS on it, then probably a good camera, do you think, huh?

  • Vladimir

And such nice little things - 20 fps but ONLY with a very specific lens. And with the other - how the card will fall.

    • lynx

      only with electronic shutter.
      and 5 with mechanical.

  • Michael

So the formula was derived by the amount of optimality of megapixels. Full frame is 24mp, crop will be 12-16mp.

    • lynx

yes, actually the whole crop is now sitting at 20, basically.

  • Peter Sh.

Alas and ah ... I already know that contrast AF will never catch up with phase AF.

The emphasis is on improved AF and 20 frames per second. Like, even if 2/3 is in focus, then already as prof. DSLR.
Excuse me, does this mean that instead of 2 thousand pictures a day I will have 20 thousand? Are they completely dead? When will I look for all these frames in focus?
I still need to eat, and even, sorry, sometimes sleep.

And yet, how can I carry it with the telezoom all day in one hand? Clutching like a kite? And even tied to yourself if he suddenly slips out.

Well, it's that simple. How can it be a replacement for DSLRs? Purely children, honestly.

  • Peter Sh.

All adepts of mirrorless say, they say thinner and lighter. But I do not need thinner! I need to be thick and gritty with a good handle.
And how much easier will it be? Twice? But weight is not a problem for me, I know if not a gentle enthusiastic girl, after all. The balance with the telezoom will be violated, it will be harder to keep.
And how's the booster? Or is there no booster in principle, because hehe will not be any easier?

    • Jury

there is a booster, you need to buy separately, under two batteries, they promise as much as 900 frames with it :)

  • anonym

One of the well-known uses of mirrorless cameras is the “back” for manual lenses. But such a camera together with a cheap old lens is some kind of nonsense, since the approximate cost of the lens is less than the cost of a “carcass” a hundred times. :)

    • lynx

Cheap manual mirrorless lenses drain even the whales.
and EXPENSIVE manual ones are not cheap. ))

      • anonym

So those that are expensive - they are usually immediately produced for Nikon or Canon, and a mirrorless camera is not needed here.

  • Peter Sh.

I watched the video from the presentation. Battery for 400+ shots, but there is a booster. The grab is small, the man in the hat held, his thumb is on the screen.

He laughed from the boxers in the ring under the rows of spotlights, who received orders to not move fast, but rather to pose more by making a brutal face.

  • Urik

It doesn’t look bad on paper, it’s interesting that with autonomy

  • anonym

expected a review from Radozhiv, but received advertising clips ... where is the point ....

    • Arkady Shapoval

The word of Radozhiv is declining. From Radozhiva.
It is logical that if the camera is presented today, then how to review it? On sale and access will be only from June 2017 :)

  • lynx

”A9 5 frames per second with mechanical shutter. Any owner of 1D or D5 will laugh and will not even spit in the face, for offending the poor ... ”(c) from the Internet

  • Skai

It was smooth on paper ... .. I tried a7 s2 at one time, focusing after d610 from 24-70 did not impress at all (some of my relatives stood at 35). But I tried it in a dark room, all the same in difficult conditions it was not ice. But for landscape and night photography - Nikon and Canon frankly merge in my opinion…. the picture is immediately displayed correctly, there is enough speed behind the eyes. Focusing on the stars with Like View is a pleasure.
Only autonomy kills of course…. But as for me, a pair of batteries will last for 1000-1500 shots, and only the reporters shoot more.
Only ergonomics frustrates, after the d610 olik e-m1 even the grasping Sonya, xs why can because of the large influx .... and you should at least touch the nine on occasion :-)

    • lynx

ready to give 320-400 thousand rubles?
      ………….

    • Michael

Have you tried LiveView at night in the field? This is a black screen, there will be no stars there. Saves only a mirror viewfinder and hard stop (the second is better).

      • Skai

You didn’t seem to have tried this :-)
At night, even on Niklnovsky 20 1.8 figs, what do you think, focusing is only approximate…. I didn't manage to get into the sharpness of the stars in the open.
Nikon's like view is dull, there is no resolution when zooming in on the frame. Used d610.
You have to either make a bunch of frames for shooting or look for a large illuminated object.
Olympus, albeit with a reduced frame rate, shows an almost daytime picture. Composing a frame is many times more convenient than on Nikon.

        • Michael

I just tried it. At night I have a black screen on the d300. Focusing on the viewfinder, and well sighting frames. True, having bought my native fish no longer suffer, because there is a hard stop

  • Alexander O

Sony with this camera is positioning itself as a professional apparatus for sports, journalists and those filming the animal world.

For such photographers, only a few points are important (really important), and everyone else is good, but does not make much difference. The main points are:

    1. Reliability - If the camera does not work at a critical moment, nothing else matters

    2. Durability - Sports photographers, journalists, etc. don't be gentle with their technique. This technique should be like a good boxer: They beat him, and he walks and works. No matter how much they beat him, he will still work. So it should be with a camera of this class.

    3. Fast AF - 20 frames per second mean nothing if 19 of them are not sharp.

    4. Working in low light - It is not enough when the light is ideal when photographing unpredictable objects like in sports, animals, etc. The device should give a good image with little noise in poor lighting conditions.

    5. Ergonomics - These devices are operated all day long by hand. Everything should be where it should be. All buttons, all wheels, all levers. The hand must naturally and quickly find what it needs. There is no time to look for any button. Time is a missed shot.

    6. Manufacturer support - when you need something, you need it now. If the device breaks down, you need to quickly repair it and while it is being repaired the photographer needs a camera with which he will work. This should be done quickly, without headaches, without any questions.

These points are the essence of what exactly is needed in this kind of camera. Everything else is as far as. I don't think that many professionals will run to buy the A9 just because there is a lot of flashing. I watched all the videos and never once did they mention that the A9 has at least moisture seals. Without such basic things, the A9 will never be a truly professional device.

    • lynx

Alfach has dust-moisture-shock and snout protection.

  • lynx

    "CARRIER
Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo, Memory Stick Micro (M2), SD, SDHC (UHS-I / II), SDXC (UHS-I / II), microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC "

Well, where is the ultra-reliable and ultra-fast designed by Aunt Sonya, designed specifically for professional cameras (with a 5-year warranty!), Speed and XQR video?
You’ll manage, gentlemen, eat a memorial stick.

  • lynx

Well, and now the whole truth is in small print (with bills):

When using phase detection autofocus, only a few lenses will initially work. Expansion is planned by updating the camera firmware.
    3
1/32 000 shutter speeds are only supported in S and M modes (intermediate settings between 1/16 000 and 1/32 000 are not available). The highest shutter speeds in other modes are 1/16.
    5
The flash does not work if “Electronic” is selected for the shutter. In burst mode, you can use the flash if “Auto” is selected for the shutter. In this case, a mechanical shutter will be used.
    6
When connecting a compatible external flash.
    7
When using a lens with A mount through an adapter, the burst speed depends on the lens model.
    8
When the focus mode is AF-C (continuous autofocus), the burst speed depends on the lens used. For compatibility details, see the Sony support page.
    9
When shooting in RAW format without compression, the maximum speed is 12 !!! frames per second.
    10
Varies depending on shooting conditions and memory card used.
    18
The world's first 35mm full-frame multilayer CMOS sensor with integrated memory, according to Sony research as of February 2017.
    19
Compared to the CMOS matrix with direct illumination in the α7 II camera.
    24
When shooting in Hi mode and JPEG format (241 shots in RAW mode).
    26
At shutter speeds in excess of 1/125 s. The number of autofocus calculations depends on the lens and camera settings.
    27
Selection is supported only in S and M.
    28
Depending on shooting conditions, the image may be slightly distorted (!!! - they are about the rolling shutter).
    29
    Compared to α7 RII.
    30
    In AF-S mode.
    31
Only A mount lenses with SSM or SAM. In the system menu, you can select phase or contrast AF. Phase autofocus during movie shooting is not supported.
    32
A software update will be released in May 2017.
    33
The maximum frame rate depends on the lens used. For details on lens compatibility, see the Sony support page.
    34
    With a 50 mm lens pointed at infinity –1 m – 1.
    35
When auto or electronic shutter is selected, the viewfinder operates at 60 frames / s during continuous shooting.
    36
CIPA Standards. Only stabilization of angular movements (in the vertical and horizontal plane). Planar T * FE 50mm f / 1,4 ZA lens. Long exposure noise reduction is off.
    37
Some functions can only be assigned to specific buttons.
    38
It can connect via Bluetooth to smartphones based on: Android OS (Android 5.0 and later, Bluetooth 4.0 and later); iOS (Bluetooth 4.0 and later).
    41
The dust and water tight design does not guarantee complete protection against ingress of dust and moisture into the camera body.
    42
When recording in 24p. For recording at 30p, the compression ratio is approx. 1,6.
    44
In this mode, sound recording is not supported. Recording requires an SDHC / SDXC memory card with a performance level of Class 10 or higher.

Comparison of a9 with Canon and Nikon.
    Taken from photorumors.

  • Dmitriy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfayQd8wl-8 Here's an example of a video why Nikon and Canon merge. According to my favorite Nikon, the D5 and D500 were released last year - wonderful reportage cameras for the price of an old and a new car, respectively. The D5600 and D7500 suck and are expensive. If I change my D7100 I will immediately lose all my Soviet lenses. If you don't need a reportage camera, then Nikon and Canon have already lost in terms of price and functionality.

    • lynx

azaza ... those. 320 thousand for alpha (and half as much for glass) for you - is the price normal? ))

      • Dmitriy

What for? You can take a used one for 60 thousand or a new alpha 7 for 72-90 thousand (now). Most purchased lenses in the focal range of 10-300 mm. on ff. (except shirik, but there is a choice). Then rearrange them with an adapter on Sonya. By that time, maybe native lenses will become cheaper.
The main message: on-camera stabilization, no need to overpay for stabilization on each lens. And if there is also a lens with a stub, then in general the poet's dream is that ISO can be safely lowered by 6 stops.
Regarding a9, buying it within the next year will cost marketers 40% more. Again, for 300000 I'd better buy a car for my wife. It will become cheaper, appear on the secondary market, in a couple of years it will be possible to see ... And in general, is it worth buying, if you do not constantly take pictures of children's parties or sports, slower is enough. All these K4s are not needed, since you cannot put such a TV at home, and this mode sucks.

        • Peter Sh.

Or just buy a used Nikon D610, for the same 60 thousand.
And you can even report, at least kids, at least flowers.
With native lenses, without obscure perversions with adapters.
And so on and so forth.

          • Dmitriy

Alternatively, although by that time, it may turn out to pay attention to the D810. You can buy the D610 for 60000 now in a used version by checking the number of captured frames. The only thing I don't like is the absence of 60 fps video even in the DX version, the rest of the technical weaknesses compared to the D7100 are not so significant, especially since they have the same battery pack. They would make a stub on any camera - there would be no price (they have a patent).

    • Oleg

In the beginning, he scratched like kenon and nikon merge, then he got to the point that Samsung had already left the race and there are rumors that it would follow: both a donkey with a Panasonic and a micro will soon disappear. “Mirrorless is investing in innovation ...” The pinnacle of innovation is the touch screen, just go nuts. "I went to shoot a video, but for the photo I took a large camera with a thick lens." The lip is not stupid though. No picking - for kenon you can install an alternative program there is picking. And just love view plus a magnifying glass give quite a good result, it will go for unhurried shooting. I didn't finish watching it, I would say simply: a mirrorless camera is ideal for shooting video. And preferably A7 or Fuj. But when an olik uses a matrix 2 times less than that of a Sony for almost the same price, this is nonsense, even if it has an innovative touch screen and picking. Sorry for the multi-letter

      • Dmitriy

From a consumer's point of view: a neighbor had a Pentax with a dark standard zoom on vacation. I have a 35mm f1,8 with a D7100. Who has better handheld shots at night outside in a crowd? At the pentax, because by 50 mm. he shoots from 1/30 (!) - after all, he has stabilization in the camera. There was a friend who shot with a stabilized Sonya with a stabilized lens from 1/10 - 1/20 that were inaccessible to me. Okay, Sonya is a more expensive system, but Pentax is 2 times cheaper than my set. All these pickings, sliding touch screens are not so necessary anymore, but stabilization is a requirement for modern cameras. Pentax is being drained (rumored). I also apologize for the many letters.

        • Michael

Take your native whale with a stub and it will be the same))) And the cost is that Pentax, that Nikon is about one. I do not see a difference of 2 times. As well as overpayments for stub. Anyway, Pentax is a very expensive and rare system.

          • Dmitriy

For the price you are wrong. You can look at the market. Used cameras and lenses are also cheaper (they are mostly non-motorized). Another thing is that less common. I’m just talking about the price: either I should buy a lens with a stub or not. Again with the stub there will be even less grease. The same tamron 28-75 F2,8 for a pentax will be better than a nikon with a regular 18-55 / 18-105 (at the same price).

            • Michael

I had a Pentax, I saw it all. They have good limas and stellar ones (some of which are sold for a third cheaper for other systems like Tokina) - the rest are whale plugs. And Tamron 28-75 is twice as expensive as Nikon's whale

              • Dmitriy

Specifically, a tamron (used) for 7000 has been on Avito for six months now. I bought my own for Nikon for 15000. To be honest, I took them in search of lenses all over Russia, but it was too expensive in my city and environs.

            • Michael

I believe the truth is usually a little more expensive. Well, I only take it from me, because Be sure to inspect the lens before buying. But this does not change the essence, because a whale can be taken for 2000-3000

  • Alex 917

    - what about the color?
    - 20k / s - why? if there is at least some thread of rolhater, then the meaning of everything is incomprehensible.
    - dead battery - 400 frames is not enough - at a wedding you need 5-6 of them per day to shoot from door to cake
    - horse prices for glasses and all accessories
    - horse price tag on the camera
    - 2 slots for memory - ok
    - good viewfinder - ok
    - 24MP - common sense won out - although knowing Sony, A3R, A5S, etc. will be released in 9-9 months
    - A9mk2 will be released in a year - there will be finished with percent / af / viewfinder / small moments
we are waiting for real copies. Congratulations to those who just bought any A7 model - you bought a pumpkin. with the release of a new line, the old one will obviously drop in price, both new and used.
    sony in his repertoire

    • Alex

The cult of consumerism is in full swing!

  • Dmitriy

A “professional” camera with a 400-frame battery? You don't have to read further.

  • Alex

The camera is cool, of course, you can't say anything, especially for video, as I understand it ... But the cosmic price (for our impoverished Motherland) immediately puts thoughts and fantasies in place!

And also what I thought looking at the beautiful commercials is that people have already switched to technodroch for a long time, and not to take a good picture.
In the sense for the majority of button presses, it doesn’t matter at all what is shot, and most importantly, how many pixels, number of frames / sec, camera buffer, stabilizer, high-aperture lens and other and other crap, and certainly 4K video!

    • Lynx

It is immediately obvious that the unrecognized Bresson is in the thread!
Those who take good photos and make good money on this will buy, do not worry.

  • Alexander

Nobody makes the perfect camera, everybody makes a product for the market. And the SONY brand, as it was an expensive "toy", remains so.

  • Peter Sh.

The people do not know that Sonya still makes smart prof. reportable digital cameras. And that many reporters are still filming Sony's cameras that are over 10 years old.
Consumer goods, girls and boys, do not determine the level of technical achievements of the brand. So that.

  • Peter Sh.

I meant reporting video cameras, sorry.

    • lynx

And they say cell phones were once cool ..
      and what?
