In short

RIKENON P 1: 2 50mm RICOH is a small fifty kopeck piece for cameras with a Pentx K mount. This lens has a special protrusion on the mount side and may not fit some modern Pentax cameras. I easily used RIKENON P 1: 2 50mm RICOH on Canon cameras with adapter PENTAX K - CANON EOS. By itself, the RIKENON P 1: 2 50mm RICOH is not of special interest, however, it can serve as a good budget fifty dollars.

RIKENON P 1: 2 50mm RICOH is almost completely identical Rikenon 1: 2 50mm Ricoh.

The photo seems to be nothing like that.

Lens reviews are fed up, to say the least. I'd love to read well and adopt if possible))) photo tricks from Arkady)))

        thank you)

Andrei! Arcadia lens reviews cannot be annoying by definition! Nobody is likely to do such work in this regard, as he does, in the post-Soviet space ..
As for the lens discussed here. Given its cost, dimensions and the resulting picture, this is an excellent fifty dollars! According to the picture, he devotes most of his modern counterparts. The only negative, of course, is the lack of modern enlightenment on the glass. So, without a doubt, it would produce images even more interesting
Anyway, something the farther I am, the more the old manual lenses tighten. There is something elusive in the images that they give out, something that makes the picture unique. Most modern glasses cannot do this. Although there are exceptions of course. Which shoots better, sharper, more contrast and better. But these exceptions are very, very expensive.

"... looks like many other similar fifty rubles." What is it like? soapy? cutting? Backlight? Earlier, you paid more attention to some of the features of the lens and image. But still, thank you for your work. It turned out to be crumpled somehow ...

    • Dmitriy

The Japs were engaged in the cloning of these polys. Everything looks the same, only focus rings with different finishes. Products for the mass consumer. We drove the "plan" and no tasks for artistic transmission. It will be much longer and more expensive, you cannot keep up with a competitor, which during this time will rivet more and occupy a niche somewhere.

  • AL

The corners are soapy, the bokeh is absolutely not artistic. What caused the interest in this dinosaur? Even Helios, starting with 44M-4, draw kosher.
In short, 500 rubles ($ 10) to him the price on the most crowded day.

    • anonym

As for the Helios, the question is controversial ... Here at least the quality is stable ..

I had such an objective, it’s a pity that I sold it, I was standing on the old pentax ist ds dinosaur, the photos were awesome, although this may be due to the large pixel of the ist ds matrix.

  • Fedorov Andrey

Interestingly, and RIKENON P 1: 2 50mm RICOH with thorium glass or normal? Is there any radiation from it?

    • Sergei

At one time, they tried to put thorium glasses on super-fast aperture or ultra-wide-angle optics.
Attempts to put such (and expensive) glasses on a regular standard mount of 50 mm / 2 have not been recorded in the history of lens construction.
      Although 1,8 was one attempt.
